Went on Sunday 11/22, stood at the hostess both for 10 minutes with my pregnant wife as everyone looked at us. There was maybe 4 tables of people and none of the staff was doing anything. Finally the bartender said we could find a seat wherever. Took him a while to take our drink order and bring a menu. There was 10 minute lapses between every step. At the end he asked if we wanted a togo box. I said yes please and 20 minutes later he still hasnt brought one. He came back and asked about a togo box again but this time i said no and wanted the ticket. 10 minutes later I just sat my card on the table and waited for him to notice it. He finally came and got it but still didnt know what we were about to be charged. $50 dollar tab, $3 tip. Sorry but if youre going to stand around and talk to your buddies then dont expect a good tip, Dan. The food was ok but the it had a strong pond flavor and the fish was greasy as hell. Ok the food was bad and the tea tasted old. Just save yourself some time and money and rethink this place.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT AND TELL EVERYONE YOU CARE ABOUT NOT TO GO---EVER! I dont know how they stay in business. My wife and I brought my son there for his birthday. All three dishes were COMPLETELY TERRIBLE. My wifes pecan trout was a mushy mesh with no taste--her few green beans tough. My scallops were fried in some weird batter and had no taste at all--they gave me mashed potatoes, poorly made, instead of what I ordered--and my cream corn had to be from a can and was only given enough for three or four spoon fulls. My sons scallops were grilled but also had no taste at all--and the same story as mine regarding his cream corn and rice. If one item out of nine was bad, it MIGHT be excusable, but all nine items absolutely terrible. CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN! Flower Mound and Highland Village deserve better than this. Their glory days are loooong goooone!

This had been one of our favorite restaurants for years and also got take out frequently. My husband frequented the place a lot for the camaraderie but he quit going when the A/C wasnt working in the summers and it wasnt getting fixed. Tonight, my husband ordered a pound of peel and eat shrimp and a blackened shrimp po boy with roasted potatoes for me. When he got home, he was like WTH is this. I looked and said it must be my po boy, but its on a hamburger bun and those are french fries. The pound of peel and eat shrimp was in a plastic bag on ice, never was before. We think it was 1/2 pound of ice and maybe 1/2 pound of shrimp. Sadly, the place has gone downhill.

Our family has been there a number of times. They have excellent oysters, and their selection of fresh fish which can be prepared 4 or 5 different ways is absolutely fabulous! One of our favorites is the blackened tilapia with the lump crab meat topping in our opinion it is prepared perfectly . We would recommend this to anybody that likes great food at reasonable prices they have a well-stocked bar and the service is wonderful. They are wheelchair accessible plus they also have outdoor seating. Overall its just a fun place to go.

While the dishes are attractive and the menu is appealing, we have once again been sucker punched at Rockfish. Do not eat there unless you have nothing to do the next day. You will be busy most of the morning. There must be a management problem if they cant even get their hands washed well. I cant wait for it to finally close so we can get a new restaurant in that spot.

Horrible smell in the restaurant like a sour mop. We were there 20 minutes and it was slow (maybe 1/3 of the restaurant was full) and still didnt have drinks or placed our order. Maybe it was an off night because we have gone before and the staff was great. The vibe in the place was like it was going out of business or maybe no manager to keep things going.

Okay food. Rockfish does seasonal specials with crabs, crawfish, and other seafood selections. They do well with crawfish. A good patio on a nice day and a good place to take the kids as there is an area outside the patio for kids to play. Service has been not so great on recent visits. They servers are good but they seem to be understaffed.

Not the Rockfish I had come to know. Service was slow and the person that seated us apologized and told us "we were just talking and hanging out". Not what I wanted to here. And then the server had to keep apologizing for kitchen cooking out slow. My food was cold when it finally came out.

The service we had was great! Our waitress complimented my wife on her wedding ring and said it was beautiful. Love the fact that the servers go out of their way to make the customers happy. This Rockfish makes you feel like a person rather than a customer. Great service and great food!

This reminds me of a trendy version of Red Lobster. That is not really a complement either. I suppose you could do worse (i.e. Long John Silvers) but there arent many great seafood options in the area. The food wasnt very fresh or creative, personally I would rather eat at Joes.

Went in Monday evening, ordered fried jumbo shrimp to go. The business was slow. The shrimp smelled bad, so bad the odor lingered in my car overnight. Obviously Rock Fish does not sell fresh seafood. I will not be eating at any Rock Fish again.

The food is ok nothing to brag about. The restrooms was very dusty/dirty and very dated. The caliber of the money this company has should invest more into their management team and not just warm bodies.

My salmon spinach tomato burger was delicate, flakey and perfect. I tried the black beans - seasoned n tasty, and snap peas which were just crunchy enough and fresh. Were coming back. Recommended.
