First and foremost, the food was excellent. My only complaints are that the atmosphere was a little noisey and "busy." Im easily over-stimulated, though. Also, we had to ask for our drink refills and pass plates to their proper person rather than wait-staff taking the time to do this. Despite the very minor inconveniences, I would most definitely recommend the food.

A coworker and myself visit this place about once a week for lunch. It has steadily gone down hill week by week. Last week we ordered the same thing, mine was half the portion of his. This week we ordered the same thing, his was half the size of mine, and mine was half the size it normally is. Its expensive, they dog you for your plates and we will not be back.

We have been eating at Meson since they first opened several years ago. It has been so great to watch their business grow into the awesome restaurant it is today! They are a great and hard-working group of people who never stop smiling and serving proudly! Their food is excellent, their prices are great, and they have Calfkiller on tap!!

I am native Californian miss good Mexican food. My sister is here visiting from California, so we went here and had some great food. I had chili relleno amazing the cheese dip was yummy the service was good. Enjoyed the atmosphere. We will go back and have margaritas and calfkill beer.

Great food, great drinks. Fresh salsa made daily. Pretty authentic latino themed food, well seasoned (not spicy), COOKED WHEN ORDERED not premade. Big food portions. Delicious full menu, Calfkiller beer on tap, and the only place in Sparta to get a real liquor drink.

Always flavorful dishes with generous portions. Very accommodating too, I asked for Tacos Al Pastor which wasnt on the menu - they quickly agreed to come up with an impromptu approximation (cant quickly marinate meat in pineapple juice). Calfkiller on tap!

This is the worse mexican restaurant in Sparta. The thing that annoys me the most is that the owner parks in customer parking. Not only that, they let their kids run around like it is a jungle. Also, it has the worse food I have ever tasted in my life.

Wonderful food! I get the Pollo Hawaiano plate every time. It is the best! Weve always received excellent service. The prices are reasonable. Great chips and salsa, too! (Very fresh and simple salsa that isnt overpowering.) Love this place.

After a lovely morning hike at Rock Island, my husband and I stopped to eat at this restaurant recommended by a friend. Im so glad we did! The food was delicious and the service, excellent. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Great chips and salsa and bonus bean dip! I got the burrito loco, and it was filling and delicious. They were a bit rushed, due to the 8/21/17 eclipse happening the next day, but everything came up fresh!
