First time visitor so maybe I didnt really get the system they had going. I had to wave down someone to ask for seating and was told to find a spot. It was crowded and I wouldnt have any way of knowing there was available seating unless I pushed through several layers of people. Maybe a sign saying "seat yourself" or having the staff direct people away from standing in the actual entry area. Ordered a wine Im familiar with and got a shot of it, not exaggerating about 3 oz, in a glass, so ok. Ordered an appetizer which came out quickly but it was brought out by the busboy and not the server, who didnt come back at any point until the dish was empty. Then our order was taken. It was out quickly but it didnt look like it took any time or skill to prepare. The scallops I ordered were very good but there were only four over a bed of canned lima beans and mushrooms in a basic white sauce. My partner had the salmon which was more reasonable for the price but served with some odd root vegetables that Ive never heard of pairing with salmon (carrots and potatoes? Is that a thing?). The food was tasty but Id get 3 times as much food and a similar quality from red lobster. Finally the server herself, started off friendly but would dissappear for 20 minutes at a time and routinely chatted with a friend of hers who was dining there. 30 minutes after we had visably finished our food I finally just flagged down a passing bartender who got us the bill. All in all a very disappointing experience for how inflated their prices were Atmosphere: 4 Service: 1 Drinks: 2 Food: 2 Overall: 2

The place is absolutely gorgeous! However, my friends and I dont necessarily consume alcoholic beverages, so we would just like to sit and drink water in a comfortable environment, while catching up. Due to the fact we didnt want to order anything at the moment they made us leave. They said they didnt want us taking up seats if we werent going to order anything, but we chose this place specifically because it wasnt busy at the time we were trying to meet. Ive come before, but I definitely will not be coming again.

Love the Wine Loft! I have hosted several events here over the past year and the food, drinks, service and communication have been spectacular! We explored other options in the area for the last event just to mix it up and ended up back at the Wine Loft because no one could match it! Jason, Caitlyn, and the whole team are amazing! Great food options, full bar and wine list! The Wine Loft is the best event location in downtown Kalamazoo!

Wine loft has great wine and great food. They have a brie cheese thing that is phenomenal! And the atmosphere is quiet and nice. However, the last four times Ive tried to go there, they are closed for private parties. Thats great they are so busy, it gave me time to learn how to make the cheese thing at home! Thats the reason for the low score though, you can never get in.

Thanks to Jason and the Wine Loft crew, I had a fantastic Birthday Celebration. The food was great, the atmosphere phenomenal. None of my guest wanted for anything. The best celebration Ive enjoyed in a very long time. As a matter of fact Im looking forward to next years celebration in the Loft! I highly recommend the Wine Loft!!!

A wonderful, chill atmosphere with incredibly comfortable, relaxed and somewhat informal seating. They focus on having a fantastic wine list from all over the world, and small, tapas style plates of food to compliment the wine. My personal favorite is the revolving list of Port wine.

This is mine and my fiancées favorite date night spot. The food is PHENOMINAL and the drinks are as well. The staff is super friendly. Definetly on the pricier side for a meal, but soo worth it! We go here to celebrate every special occasion. Id eat here every night if I had the $$$

One of my favorite places downtown! The atmosphere is super chill and the service and food are both what youd expect from a fine wine bar- superb! Be sure to try the baked brie for two and the Flatbread. If youre not sure what to drink, ask your server to offer some suggestions.

Went for Valentines day. Made a reservation ended up sitting at the bar for 40 minutes waiting for our table comes to find it had been empty the entire time!! Ordered food which was very gross!!! Only good thing was wine and atmosphere!!

The wine loft was alright. It was a different style for me. My wife loved it. It was a little bit more upscale. Great place for a nice dinner. My wife enjoyed it and said her wine was good. I loved the great service from our waitress.

Was there for a private party over the weekend and the wait staff for the loft was nice but only one server for over 40 guests is inappropriate. The drinks were made differently every time also. The atmosphere was nice though.

My friends and I meet at The Wine Loft once a week to unwind! I love the atmosphere and the service is great! Tuesdays is 1/2 off bottle night.....what a deal. I also love the Baked Brie and the Wild Mushroom Bruschetta.

They have great staff and good drinks. It might be a little pricy for a small town but, it all worth it. You get a sence of upscale bar. I never tried their food but, I would like to go back and check out their food

Really enjoy the Wine Loft. Nice selection and atmosphere, GREAT music, and Jason is a great host. (GM). Only thing lacking for me is a more locally driven menu. Im a large farm to table fan. Great establishment.

Atmosphere is awesome. We had 2 appetizers and 2 glasses of Malbec. Very unimpressed by the food and the wine. Especially for the price. Place was very slow at prime time on a Friday.
