I was looking for good Thai food and after reading these reviews decided to check it out, normally I wouldnt write a review but I figured I should do my part. We drove across town to check it out and when we walked in noticed how small and cute it was, very very clean and smelled fresh. We were so excited!! We were sat and we ordered our food, I got my soup and then we waited.........and waited.......and waited. We waited so long that we took our phones out to see how long exactly, 35 minutes!!!!! For spring rolls!! A appetizer!!! There were 3 tables sat after us and one was already leaving!! The others were almost done!! Finally we grabbed our server and asked about our food, she ran in the back and quickly grabbed our dinners....umm, appetizer?? Another server came and brought us our spring rolls finally but wow, the server never even said " sorry your food is taking so long", it was apparent that were waiting a extremely long time becuase the other tables were noticing as well. After all my food was good, the curry pad thai and the pad thai was just ok. I think I will find a new Thai restaurant.

We recently tried takeout from this place. We love Thai food, but the dishes that we tried from this restaurant were definitely below average as far as Thai food goes. In my opinion, the test of a good Thai restaurant is how well they make Tom Yum or Tom Kha soup - a delicate balance of salty and sour flavor. The Tom Kha soup that we ordered had no sour flavor at all, and very little chicken. It was also filled with those canned mini-corn cobs, which are a staple of American Chinese restaurants, but which I have never before seen in any Thai food. My spouse ordered one of our favorite Thai dishes, Pad See Eiw; it was fair, though we prefer it served with fresh, thick rice noodes, not the dried, thin kind that you can get at the grocery store. Without knowing the menu, I ordered one of my favorites, Lad Nah, but they did not know what that was. I opted for another standard, Basil Chicken, which was also fair, though the soy-sauce-flavored gravy overpowered any basil flavor. If you like it, that is fine, but please do not mistake this for genuinely good Thai food.

Weve been going to Little Bangkok since they were in the little hole in the wall spot next to the flower shop. I love the food and that family that runs this particular location (now apparently they have 2-3 restaurants around GR) Its as authentic as it gets for Thai food in the area. My only real complaints are that the prices have gone up and the servings sizes have gone down - that and you get nickle and dimed for any extras like lime wedges and crushed peanuts. Other than that, its a great place to visit once in a while if youre in the area but be prepared to spend $15 on lunch with the tip.

We used to come here a lot with my family for four years . And for some reason the food isnt that quite tasty anymore . Last time we were told they are closing early because its one of those slow nights and that we had to do a take out which we ended up doing . When we got home to eat what we ordered , the food ( E9) wasnt that tasty at all! Its a LOAD of green peppers and the chicken itself has turned green color ! The country fried rice was slimy. Isnt it because we didnt give a tip ? Are we supposed to give a tip for a take -out ? I dont think we are going to come back .

Phenomenal!!! The food is absolutely delicious! This is my go-to restaurant for Thai food. The restaurant and staff are unpretentious, not frills, just excellent food. The onyl downside is parking during the day is nearly impossible but, fortunately, the restaurant lets you double park (just let them know which car is yours so the person you parked behind can get out). Plus Cheshire Bridge is such a cool, unique street. *It certainly helps the atmosphere that the waiters are so cute!

Tonight was my second night dining here. The food and service were consistent within a 9 month span as I like to space my experience with a serious focus on quality and consistently. This place is it! I tend to order the same dish from place to place and time to time to test not only authenticity but concistancy. This place has both! The ambiance is ok but the food is worth it. I will be back again and again.

Well what can I say...I have been eating at this resturant for about 5 years. It started pretty good and the food was so good. I am not sure if the mangement changed the food is awful and they receptionist on the phone has no patience to even listen to order. NOT Going back again. VERY VERY POOR service. Thai Fusion at Broadmoor has far better food and service.

Its true: Best Thai food in GR. I am craving their food as I write this review - just thinking about it makes me want to go there. Ive had many of their dishes and have loved them all. Although the first time I ordered "medium" spice and sweated my way through it but it still tasted great! Friendly service.

Its adequate. I enjoy that it appears as a family run business. It has many gluten free and dairy free options. But it is flavorless. The food is spicy, but lacks flavor. The rice is somehow sweet. The bamboo was overcooked. The egg plant and asparagus was over cooked. Its a nice restaurant. Just decent food.

If you go at lunch time you may have to wait for a table but the food is definately worth waiting for! The dishes have always been prepared with fresh ingredients and they do a great job of adjusting the "heat" to meet your preference. My favoriite restaurant, I highly recommend

Our favorite Thai Restaurant in the greater Grand Rapids, MI area. The family and staff at Little Bangkok are top notch. The food and service is the most consistent we have ever experienced. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious Thai meal.

People from my office have ordered lunch from Little Bangkok numerous times over the past 2 months. We have not yet found any dish there that is enjoyable. Subjectivity regarding what constitutes good Asian food aside, my dish today, for example, tasted burnt.

This little restaurant in Cascade is a gem. The Thai food is top-notch, and the folks who run the place are friendly and do a great job (even with limited English). I just ordered take-out, and they prepared my lunch exactly how I requested. Wonderful!

"On fire" is just that, VERY HOT, but very delicious. Connoisseurs of the sorts of food that can make you sweat, turn beet red, and drink buckets of ice water to appease a swollen burning tongue... Order their pad thai this way. Fantastic.

My favorite thai place in Grand Rapids. Lovely staff, great crab wontons, great pad thai and pad see ew. Free soup and almost constantly busy. Having been in Thailand a few months ago, the food here is pretty close 9/10 times!

Really great food, lots of choices, and the staff is excellent. Good value for your dollar! Dont miss the coconut milk ice cream! FYI they are now at 850 Forest Hills Ave, right around the corner next to the bread place.
