Weve been here twice now. I highly recommend the pizza. The crust is delicious. I had the cheese lovers. (I wish it had ricotta but it isnt offered at very many places so no big deal.) The salads were fresh and salad dressing is house made and yummy. The cheesy breadsticks were great. The second time we went I got lasagna. I loved that they put alfredo and marinara on top. Their marinara is very good. The bread that came with it-holy cow, yum. My only critiques would be the pasta was a bit overdone and the alfredo is not the best. Their menu says their alfredo is just cream and parmesan which is how I make it at home but theirs is really thick like they use flour to thicken it. It was the texture I would want for white gravy. Service was a tad on the slow side (but come on, its its a new restaurant; cut them some slack!) but both times the servers were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Very good Italian food here. This place is always popular with the locals of Brownsburg. We moved into the area one year ago and have been here several times. Our food has always been good. I would prefer a more restuarant style set up however with customers seated at their tables and wait staff taking your order. This restuarant requires you to place your order at the counter, they give you a number and they bring your food to you. You must pick up your own silverware and napkins before find your table on your own. You must always clean your own table to a common dish and silverware repository. I understand the owners intent, its to keep cost down to his customers, but I found it a bit off normal in todays service industry environment. Still one of my favorite local places for speghetti, calzones or pizza!

Not good at all. I ordered the special, which was ravioli. What I got was literally something I could have gotten out of a box in the frozen section at Walmart, covered with some sauce that was edible, but in no way good. The service was mediocre. You basically serve yourself. They do bring the food out to your table, but thats about it. The portions were tiny...something unusual at an Italian restaurant since pasta is so cheap. I am new to Brownsburg and was hoping to find a good place to eat some Italian food. Unfortunately, my search continues. I wont be going back to SoItalian.

So Italian is a small family run business, so keep that in mind when you go there. Service is slow, and the order the food comes out is a little odd at times, but the food is great. Even the cheese pizza alone tastes better than many of the chains. My recommendation: STUFFED PIZZA. Those are amazing, and very filling. My wife and I can eat off a medium for 2-3 meals. If pricing is a concern, I suggesting going for lunch to try it. Have some $5.99 and $6.99 specials that will give you a good sample of their quality.

I would not recommend them for catering. Our church recently had their food catered in for a special Occasion. Food was alright but the breadsticks were the worst breadsticks I have ever tasted. It ruined the meal since the breadsticks make a italian meal great. Your experience might be different but giving you my feedback in making your decision to use them or not to cater your next event.

Decent place, despite the goofy name. The Ryans Breadsticks are a real highlight... they are breadsticks with pepperoni and cheese inside them. I had the spinach alfredo pasta, which was not bad, but the alfredo was not as flavorful as it could have been. We also had cannoli... and they were excellent. We will definitely be back to try the chicken alfredo pizza.

Everything is made fresh so dont go if in a hurry but if you have some time to sit and enjoy a meal it is well worth the wait. Pizza and pastas are all very good and the sandwiches are pretty good also. Gnocchi (a special item they dont have all the time) is really good also so check their specials board when you go in to see if they have it.

I had a Chefs Salad yesterday(Large) and a Spinach and Mushroom Salad(Large) today. They were both very fresh and very delicious! Their homemade dressings are fantastic as well. I also tried two of their pepperoni bread sticks with my salad today and they were excellent! I am glad to have such a fantastic Italian restaurant nearby.

If you are a pizza lover or spaghetti fan then you should stop in. Spaghetti with marinara, garlic bread salad. Cant go wrong. There are several kinds of bread sticks too. I recommend the Ryans Breadsticks. Stuffed with cheese and pepperoni. When its warm enough they offer outdoor seating as well. Lots of menu items.

I love their breadsticks! This place have excellent prices for the quality of their meals. I have come to So Italians various times and they are always kind, efficient, smiling, and they are happy to give you an opinion on their menu so that you know if what you are getting is good. Thanks guys !!!

Quaint little family type restaurant. Some of the absolute best pizza and calzones Ive ever found-anywhere! We will go out of our to stop there if were anywhere close-prices are very fair, huge portions--A Must Try. If anything, they need to add more seating, since its so good!!

This place is awful and very pricey! Service is slow, and the kids who work there seem to play around too much. For the 5 of us, and 3 of them kids, it was over $60! Pasta was mush, and most was covered with tons of cheese which was burnt! No Thanks.

I regularly make my long trip from western Ohio to Brownsburg, Indiana to eat at So Italian and get enough food to freeze in my home and continue to enjoy the healthy and satisfying flavor of its excellent menu! Worth the trip, excellent value!

Excellent pizzas and calzones. Great pasta, too. Service at the counter can be slow at times (not that the person is slow, its just that the line can get long and they only have one register). I feel like its great food for the money.

Used to eat here when we lived nearby. Met my daughter for dinner two weeks ago and it was as good as I remember it. You order at the counter, they bring the food and you bus yourself. Family owned. Nice folks. Tasty food.

Great pizza. Good price. The gluten free options have been very appreciated having someone intolerant in the household. A must if youre visiting Brownsburg and want to support a local business!

Our favorite local pizza place, always fresh and hot. Great breadsticks. Just wish they were open on Sundays and had a better pick-up layout so you arent standing in the ordering line!
