My dad and I ate here today and we ordered Harolds pulled pork which comes with a side...ie, chips, baked beans etc. We decided to order one trip to the salad bar as well for $2.95 each. When we received our bill our side items became ala carte and we were charged for them as well as the single trip to the salad bar. We asked our waitress why we were being charged a $1.95 for our side items and she said it was because we replaced our side items with our single trip salad bars which we were still being charged $2.95 each for. We could not believe the waitress and thought she was not understanding us so she got the manager and sure enough he confirmed what she was saying, not only that kinda made us feel stupid because we thought our side was included even after we ordered a single trip to the salad bar and we were paying $2.95 for them. So what should have been $6.95 for sandwich and side, plus $2.95 for salad bar, ended up being $6.95 for sandwich, $1.95 for ala cart side item and $2.95 for single trip to salad bar. 2 people over $35 with tip for some smoked pig. Food is not as good as Hogheads...I hope he opens up soon because this billing philosophy is wack!!!! IN essence, if I would have ordered the salad and ate it and then paid, and then ordered my meal with side, I would have save the $1.95. This to me is your basic screw the customer routine!

The best bb-q Ive had in the Indianapolis area. All kinds of bb-q sauce from the sweet to the sweet and spicy, and my personal favorite a slightly sweet, slightly spicy, with a strong vinegar bite that will make your tongue tingle. I had the 4 meat combo plate with st. louis style ribs (that are hard to find in this area) pulled pork (very tender and juicy with just the right amount of smokey goodness), bb-q sausage (I have never had before, but it had cheese cooked into the sausage and it was decadent), plus brisket ( normally overdone at most places but it was juicy and tender). It was my first time here but definitely wont be my last. My friend had the bb-q chicken in her platter and again it was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. As for the sides, the coleslaw is the best. Creamy, Sweet, Crunchy (yes, those are capitalized for a reason) and DELICIOUS. Their baked beans are some of the best Ive ever had, but they are more like bb-q beans because they have the bb-q meat cooked right into them! I am from the north side and it was definitely worth the 25 min trip because there is nothing remotely close on the north side.

Tried their Sunday brunch buffet. While not the same fare as the main menu, there was plenty to eat and everything tasted good. I look forward to trying the Saturday night buffet. My son enjoyed all the racing décor. If you want big chain style food, go somewhere else. This is a local joint with all the color and flavor of a small town. Take time to chat with your server or the owner and get to know the people who are happy to serve your dinner.

I love the Pit Stop. Their food is always hot and delicious! In addition to the pulled pork options, the beef brisket is absolutely amazing! Also, I dont know what they do to their green beans, but they are out of this WORLD! This place usually draws a crowd, but the wait is never too terribly long and trust me -- IT. IS. WORTH. IT!

My favorite BBQ joint! Great food. The buffet is always full, clean, hot, and fresh. They are SO busy, you need to double check your "to-go" orders before you leave. The hostesses get really busy and might just make a mistake but they are quick to fix it and make it worth your wait.

Simply Amazing! I am a bit of a picky person when it comes to quality and service. Pitstop knocks it out of the park for BBQ. I had the ribs and brisket and couldnt have been happier with my experience. Trust me, this is great food for a great price! Love me some Pitstop!

The place seem a little outdated and run down. Every meal we got was bad quality. Brisket was dry and lacked flavor. Rice Pilaf was nasty. Ribs had no meat and also lack any good qualities. I could of gotten better food at McDonalds. Dont waste your time or money.

I give the food 5 stars. Best brisket since Vans Pig Stand in Shawnee OK. Twice now I have been overcharged by a dollar when it went through my bank. I believe it was the same waitress both times. Shanda or Shandra? Never any problems other than that.

We ordered a carry out of 2 meat combination of ribs and barbecue chicken. The chicken and the ribs were dry. The ribs was almost like beef jerky. And we didnt get one item we ordered, cole slaw. Bad meal, will not do that again.

I have lived in Brownsburg for over 2 years and just tried this place. The service was fast, the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was pleasant and most importantly the beer was cold. If you like BBQ, you cant go wrong here.

The ribs were great! Juicy and fell off the bone. One of my sides was the mac and cheese which was also delicious. Go on Thursday because thy had a $10.95 full rack of ribs with two sides special! Definitely would go again.

Been there many times. The best catfish and fried chicken in town. Just wish they had mash potatoes on the buffet when they have country fried steak and gravy. Country fried steak just has to have mashed potatoes with it

We thought it was worth it, the staff helped and even made some thing extra for me on the buffet. Because we walked in kinda late when they had already stopped cooking buffet food. They made it and brought it out.

I was there with a client of mine and the service, food quality and what you get for the price is not worth it. Dont waste your time. If you want BBQ go to Jimbos in Claremont Indiana.

Brisket very tender but service and everything else is so so. People say its the best bbq in Brownsburg because its the only bbq in Brownsburg.

By far the best BBQ meat in town. The pulled pork is smoky, tender and not at all greasy. Start out with the smoked wings; theyre fantastic!

I had the Wings, they were over cooked, small and no real good taste. Waitress was the worst. I will never go back, and I never say never.

Great brunch. And the ghost pepper BBQ sauce is absolutely wonderful. Will be getting a bottle of this for my home eggs...;)
