We got the Friday special of steak fajitas. They were terribly salty and the steak meat was going bad. Ive heard that restaurants put up specials to get rid of food that is about to spoil. I never believed it until now. We all felt sick because they tried to cover up the bad meat taste with TONS of salt. It wasnt just salty, it was inedible like theyd dumped a shaker of salt on the food. Plus there was very little meat, maybe 1 1/2 oz, the rest of the plate was onions and bell pepper. The meat was terribly dry and you couldnt swallow it and it left a bad taste in your mouth after you got past the salt, like it was rotten. We had them take it back and declined their offers of replacement meals because we didnt want anything else out of that kitchen. We couldnt wait to go somewhere else and eat something healthy. We waited 10-15 minutes for our check for our drinks and were surprised that we were all charged for sides of rice that we didnt even eat. The waitress said she took the dinners off our check like she was doing us a favor. It took the manager 15 minutes to come when we complained about the rice charges. She had never come by when we sent the rotten food back. The manager was rude and confrontational and finally stomped off. The waitress came by and said we didnt have to pay for our drinks and we could leave. She had the audacity to ask for a tip and stood there expectantly as we got out our wallets. We will never go back there. We werent feeling well the rest of the night. It was so bad that my family and friends in my party are considering calling the state board of health.

This is a very good place to eat. The wait staff is very friendly and does speak both Spanish and English. Just like every Mexican restaurant here in the Midwest there queso is white versus yellow if youre used to a Southwest Style. The house salsa that you get at the table is a very mild chunky salsa. I recommend trying the tomatillo salsa, it has a very good flavor but not a lot of heat. My wife loves their Burrito Del Mar and I try something different every time. the only thing Ive not cared for is their Mole sauce, because its a red one. Im not a fan of the red Mole sauce, so thats why I say that. Other than that one experience Ive never had a meal I didnt like here.

Staff is awesome Food is great....chips are made in the Resturant every day and are always warm. The salsa is the best in town. Cant beat the prices especially on taco Tuesdays when you can get 3 big tacos for only $3.99. The place is not fancy but thats Ok because the staff, food and cost makes up the difference. The place is always clean. They have a bar in the back kinda hidden away. You will see regulars every Tuesdays. Love this place

When El Toro opened several years ago, it was hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Brownsburg. They went through a down period a few year ago, but with the new management its back on top as far as Im concerned! Generous portions and they will cook to order if you want something not necessarily like it is described on the menu.

The service rocked the house and the Camarones a la Diabla was to die for. I was expecting something a little more ordinary, but was instead surprised by a truly delicious Mexican culinary experience. Give El Toro a shot and I dont think youll be dissapointed.

Service was ok, fajitas were probably the worst Ive ever had. Individual running the cash register topped it off by not saying hello, how was your dinner, thank you, etc etc...all that was said when given back my credit card was "here you go"

Understaffed and struggling..our food sat too long in the kitchen. Rice and refried beans were not hot and fajitas, while hot, did not come out sizzling and was burnt on the cast iron. Even had wait to pay.

Excellent margaritas and tasty, reasonably priced Mexican food. Ive always found this place cozy with consistently good food, good service, and great frozen margaritas. Highly recommended!
