My daughter and I had lunch at The Knuckle Sandwich Sunday afternoon. It was a "chance encounter", as we just Google searches (we live up in the NW corner of Indy, and arent very familiar with the southside). I ordered their Hubcap Tenderloin....it was HUGE....nearly as big as my head! It was very good, though I wish it wasnt pounded quite so thin, as it was a tad dry. I took home 3/4 of it, and had 2 more meals out of it. Katies burger was delicious...great grilled flavor!! We shared an order of onion rings (also good, but I was craving some fun dipping sauce & was disappointed....ranch was offered...is that a thing with o rings?....ketchup won). The decor is fun memorabilia and old jukebox music....which encouraged some chair dancing and singing along ;-) . Our server was friendly and attentive, which made for a very positive first visit.

This place is ok. There pizza is awesome though. The fries are a little lackluster I suggest you save your money on the upcharge for them. No seasoning on them what so ever there just the frozen crinkle cut fries. There waitress can be a bit spacey and they all seem to like to gather around the bar table. But there is some waiters and waitress that are on the ball! If you go try there burgers, chicken, or fish! Also as I mentioned above, there pizza

I had the b&g sausage and scrambled eggs. B&g was pretty cold so i didnt finish it. Something in the sausage nearly broke a tooth so i didnt finish it. Eggs were scrambled...nailed it. My boys had pancakes, sausage eggs and a biscuit between them. They said the pancake and biscuit tasted weird, eggs and sausage seemed fine for them. Will probably go to 135 and whiteland rd to the other breakfast place from now on...even though its a further drive.

This place is really bad. The portions are definitely reflected in the price and the food is average but the service is laughable. I have never seen a place with so many people frustrated at once with the servers. Personally a waitress performed the ALS ice water challenge on my wife and didnt bother to apologize. But other people hadnt been served for 20 minutes. With so many other good choices around greenwood dont waste the time.

I ordered for carry-out and although the service was fast and the staff friendly, The food was extremely greasy. I had also ordered a Cheese pizza with extra cheese and to my surprise there was hardly any cheese at all, less than what a normal cheese pizza would have on it. The place looks cool on the inside but the food wasnt so great. Not sure it was worth the $30 that i spent!!

Great food, but the wait staff could care less if you are there, and show how much they could care less. Then we tried the drive thru...we waited over 45 minutes just to get our food. I get it. It is cooked to order, but 45 minutes, and it was two simple burgers and fries. Give yourself some time to sit, either way you decide to dine.

This is the second time we have been here the first time there were 2 adults and three children and they let my daughter order brekfeast even though it was 7 oclock at night and now this time its just my wife and daughter and myself and the food is great the service is great it is a small family friendly environment that we quite enjoy.

The food is surprisingly excellent. The waiters and waitresses are very kind and the food is out in a reasonable time. Its a 1950s themed diner, so depending on your tastes, it could be a bit tacky in decor. But from the hamburgers to the pizza to the fish sandwiches, its all delicious. Reasonably priced as well.

The food is really good and i love the atmosphere here. Brings back good memories. The younger staff during weekend mornings has been hot and cold usually someone new. But they have great waitresses as well. Seems to be the standard these days anywhere. Definitely still worth the visit and great food.

This is our favorite greasy spoon diner. They have the best fries and burgers. Their milkshakes are really good too. The ambiance is a 50s diner. My kids love hearing stories about all the famous people in the pictures.

The burger I had was nothing special, but the ginormous tenderloin was quite good (and quite ginormous). I appreciate that the bun was big enough to fit the meat. The staff was friendly and the service was fast.

Was one of the best burgers I have ever had and the onion rings are to die for. Didnt want to stop eating though I was already full. Fast and friendly service. We had the best waitress. 2 thumbs up!

Classic dinner style lunch and dinner food (and pizza) with great home cooked style breakfasts. They have 3 beers on draft and a few wines to choose from. The milk shakes a pretty good too.

If you dont mind going for a short drive, then drive to The Knuckle Sandwich! The tenderloin is huge and taste amazing! I have not had anything from the menu that I would not order again.

You think youre up to the challenge! Two one pound hamburgers and two pounds of fries! Eat it all in 45 minutes and the foods free. You get a trophy, T-shirt, and your picture on the wall!

Great food, friendly staff, 50s type style, good selection of breakfast, lunch and dinners. Desserts are delicious. Longer wait times and usually packed, but worth it.

I dont hate the place. Just dont order the "hub cap tenderloin" at the drive thru without pricing. $17.00 plus for 2 sandwiches I feel is much too much! (No

Old diner setting--great atmosphere. Had the best burger ever here; it was smoky and juicy! And, my mom had a gigantic tenderloin! Highly recommended!
