It was my boyfriend’s 35th birthday and he loves sushi. We were celebrating his birthday in Nashville, I wanted to take him to a nice sushi restaurant (sushi is his favorite). It was a party of 3, we purchased a Groupon and alerted the waitress before being seated. Great! We order our drinks and rolls and waited . . . waited . . .waited . . .and waited! We waited for over 40 minutes before addressing the waitress. When I informed her we would be leaving, she stated that our food would be out in 2 minutes. When I asked her about the delay, the waitress proceeded to tell us that it was busy. We observed no more than 4 tables being served (The venue is not that large and the décor needs updating). When our food came out, you could tell the waitress had an attitude. My boyfriend and I enjoy sushi and we KNOW it does not take 40 minutes to make sushi rolls. When we received our food, it was nothing special. Our dinner guest ordered a salad, but it never made it to the table! Before placing our order, we discussed with our waitress that the bill was to be divided 2 ways. When we received the bill, it was all wrong. When we asked the waitress to fix it, she proceeded with an attitude. Once our bill was corrected, we noticed there was an 18% gratuity charge added. Our party consisted only of 3 people. According to the menu, gratuity is included for parties of 8 or more. We asked about the gratuity, the waitress stated that because we were using a GROUPON according to the rules, they could charge us 18%! (I checked and it did not state that). By the way, that salad that never made it to the table showed up on the check as a soup that also never made an appearance! Needless to say, it was not a good experience! WE WILL NEVER PATRON THIS RESTAURANT AND WE STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DON’T EITHER!

I think they dont deserve this one star. Had gone to celebrate my sister birthday and graduation party with family. There were two staff who were serving us. One of them started serving food she brought complementary chips in one basket we found bugs we told her that there is bug in this then she took it to Change the basket 20 minutes passed but she didnt brought that basket we told her trice about that basket and finally when we were ready with out main course she brought that basket. Secondly when ever we order something like refills, napkins, etc it took 10-15 minutes to bring like seriously had to wait a lot. Lastly when she brought check we give some tip though it was bad service but that lady who was serving us asked me forcefully for more tip I gave as per service I think I should not give that much tip also. When leaving the restaurant she again asked me for tip then I said sorry u know what she said " next time we both will not serve you people leave this restaurant dont show your fuc**** face to me next time " and I and my family were standing there waiter rudely said that "just leave this place and dont come again" WOW thus was shocking is this the way they treat to their customer for that stupid tip I would have given if she asked me politely but this was disappointing. Then I went to manager to complain about the but she also didnt do anything about this issue he just said she should have not said this thing that it You guys should seriously train your staff and then ask for tip you guys dont deserve a single penny. Dont go to this restaurant guys worst experience ever happened ...

Weve been to Hana Sushi House a number of times. The sushi has always been good. The service has been poor to fair. On our last visit, there was only 1 server and she could have used some help but she just didnt come close to good service. Half our table ordered sushi, half ordered hibachi. I saw our sushi get finished just before she brought the hibachi dinners. She delivered those & then she stopped to take drink orders from a table that just got seated. Then we waited while she brought their drinks. Then we waited while she seated some new guests. Then we waited while she checked on another table. It was kind of ridiculous... and frustrating that half our table had their food & she delayed bringing our sushi for a solid 5 minutes. Despite the poor service, Ill rate them as good and well probably be back.

know many people who rave about this place...I have had over 5 trips here and was extremely disappointed each and every time here...never will I spend a cent with such bad service (even when we were the only people seated and servers were visible everywhere), the food does not even look appealing once it arrives and was given a hard time for requesting a to go box for what we didnt eat. The kids were ok with their food but asked if we can go to the good Mexican place nearby every time Margarita House is mentioned.

Weve lived here for a year now, every time we pass this place weve talked about wanting to try it. Absolutely the worst service Ive received at a restaurant in a long time. The food was decent, the server and cashier made us feel extremely uncomfortable and were very rude. Dont waste your time or money here, go to Cinco de Mayo. This place is garbage.

Ive now been here over twenty times. It is great everytime. Staff is friendly, place is clean, they are polite and always remember who you are. The food is unbelievable! Sushi is well prepaird, great presentation on the plate and the food is FRESH! I WILL continue coming to Hana Sushi! I reccomand this place to anyone! Try the pink lady roll!

Great Mexican food, authentic cuisine. The manager is a very nice man with a desire to make accommodate his customers. I like pork instead of chicken or beef in some of the menu items and even though its not on the menu, he will have his cooks make it for me. Very good food and good people!

Decent service, except for the defensive manager. Misleading portions. Wife and I ordered a portion for 2 that was the size of a normal portion for one. Manager defended it, unapologetically. There are many many better places that do business with integrity that deserve your money. No bueno.

The sushi is quite good. I love sushi and have been to almost every sushi restaurant in the area. You can tell the fish is fresh, though sometimes the rice falls apart. Sometimes its a little slow, but the sushi is well worth the wait. If you can get Mo as a waiter then youre in luck.

This Mexican restaurant had decent food. Not what Im used to, have had a hard time finding really good Mexican food since moving to Nashville. Tamales didnt have enough meat and the red sauce on it tasted like tomato paste. Liked my enchiladas though.
