I would personally like to say this is so cool that we have an authentic Mexican drive thru now that isnt Taco Bell. The food here is absolutely delicious, the service is great and the only con about this place is it does have a little bit of a wait.... But with that being said Im not inpatient at all and because I know the food is still coming to me and it is so very delicious.

Please give this place a try. Its so much better than Taco Bell or any other fast food Mexican place I can think of. They are very friendly and pretty fast considering all they offer. I had the beef enchilada plate and a couple of tacos and they were very good. The tacos are soft corn authentic style with cilantro and onions and the sauces were good also. I will go back often.

It looks like the reviews from the previous owners (Indian restaurant) are mixed in with reviews from the current owners (Mexican restaurant). It is confusing and could really hurt the new business if the old reviews are not removed or correctly labeled. My one experience with the Mexican restaurant was very pleasant. The service was with a smile and the food was tasty.

The only truly authentic Mexican food in Nashville. Having been born and raised in California and traveled to Mexico several times, I can safely say this is some of the best Mexican food I have EVER eaten anywhere. Try Carretta just one time and you will never go back to any of the other local Tex-Mex trash loaded with sodium and MSG. Enjoy

Im from San Diego and moved to Nashville last year. The one thing Ive missed besides the beach is the amazing Mexican food... until I found Carettas. This is authentic SoCal style Mexican food and it rocks. So glad its right down the street and I have a little piece of home when I go through the drive thru.

Omg where to start... First, I do not really like Mexican food but this place is just WOW!!! Real authentic food all the way down to the refried beans. The HUGE portions that you get exceeds the money you pay. I am in love.... Will come back every chance I get..

The drive thru should be your first clue. This place looks like authentic style Mexican food. What your actually get is bland food that seems like they just opened a bag of pre cooked meat and heated it up. Avoid at all costs and find you a taco truck.

First time I went was amazing!!! Then when I went back everything was just terrible and different. the beans werent as good, cheese dip was watered down. Also, my tostada shell was different the last time it just sucked.

It was an experience I would not wish to have again. Which is unusual for this establishment. The rolled tacos were prepared using what tasted like old grease. The liquid cheese was no good. Like it had spoiled.
