My wife and I went to Cinco de Mayo on a busy Friday night. We waited over 40 minutes to have our orders taken. Then another 30 minutes for our food. When it did come out, it was relatively burnt/dry, and unseasoned. We also feel like we got a paltry serving portion, and very poor service. Water glasses stayed empty the whole time. Chips were very dry and stale. They also said they dont have drink specials. We have been to the Cinco de Mayo in Brentwood MANY times, received excellent service, food, and drinks, and will return there if we wish to frequent a CDM in the future.

We go here all the time but tonight ensured that we will never be back. The service was awful, orders incorrect and food served cold. There was no concern or sympathy shown by the staff. Even when voicing our concerns as we were cashing out and letting the Manager know that we were unable to eat our food because it was cold, he still charged us the full amount and said he would "talk" to our server. This place used to be our favorite but it looks like it is time for us to branch out and find something new. New management is needed!

Used to love this place, but have heard reports of them frequently incorrectly charging peoples credit cards. Well, you know what they say; it doesnt matter until it happens to you. Last night we ate here. Our tab was $37 and change. When the credit card receipt came back it was $100.67. When we pointed it out he said he would fix it, then he came back w/ another bill for $41 and change. When we asked what changed he said he forgot to charge for cheese dip. Whatever! We paid the correct amount and left. We wont be returning.

Food was decent. Better than usual queso dip. But the service was absolutely the worst I have ever experienced in any restaurant. The waiter was not attentive at all. Requests were received with a huff and an eye roll. Not once did he smile or seem to care about his job. I overheard other tables complaining about the same waiter. I definitely wont be going back any time soon.

I end up there at least every other week. Even when they are slammed with a summer crowd the staff is always amazing. Food is consistently great and drink specials are impossible to beat. Great outdoor seating and are great with large groups. I cant say enough good things about this location and franchise
