After an amazing experience at the Burger Republic in The Gulch, we were excited to try the one in Mount Juliet where we live. Never Again. I had asked about the Breakfast Shake which according to the menu contained vanilla ice cream, maple syrup and bacon. Being 5 months pregnant I made it very clear that I cannot have any alcohol. The drink I was then served had a very strong taste so my husband tried it and thought it tasted like alcohol was in it. Ive never had this shake before so I had brought it to the servers attention that it didnt taste right and I specifically asked for a nonalcoholic drink. Her response was, "Oh Im so sorry, they spiked it." She then brought another drink which was the correct one in a different style glass and tells me, "they thought you ordered a Maple Bourbon, sorry about that." Being that she served it in a different glass, its not just the kitchens fault for making the wrong drink because the server herself shouldve noticed she was serving me the wrong glass. Not once in the 45 minutes after the mishap, did a Manager stop to acknowledge our table, apologize for the mistake nor did we even see a Manager in the front of the house. The fact that Im pregnant and specifially asked for a nonalcoholic beverage and was then served one without being IDed should atleast warrant a manager to visit the table. I dont understand how a mistake being made with alcohol doesnt get a Managers attention or an explanation. It really was handled very unprofessionally. As we were leaving the restaurant, I spotted someone that looked to be a manager and told him I wanted to just bring to his attention the problem we ran into and that the staff should be a little more attentive to what theyre serving. All I wanted from this situation was a simple apology and for someone to acknowledge the fact that a mistake was made. A simple apology will make a difference of that unsatisfied customer coming back next time or leaving the restaurant and writing a negative review online and telling everyone they know how lousy and unprofessional the service and experience was.

Good help is hard to find! I know, I have a business that employees the younger kids. We really wanted to love this place because we love burgers. Firstly, the tables are way way too close together. You are sitting awkwardly close to people you dont know. I had the Burger Republic burger wanted to see what it is all about. Its just an average burger, nothing special. I asked for medium, got well done. My wife got the 4 cheese burger, i took a bite and asked her why it tasted like fish, like salmon to be exact,. She said there was no fish on the burger but that she thought the same thing. Couldnt finish it. Probably some ingredient sat too close to some fish in the fridge?? We finished around 8:30, but for some reason had the workers at the tables on both sides of us turning the tables upside down, sweeping, spaying some nasty smelling chemical on the table while we were trying to finish eating? Big pet peeve of mine! I thought that maybe they were about to close, still no excuse, but they dont close until 10 pm! Like i said good help is hard to find. It was like there was no manager in charge and the kids wanted out early. Our waitress was nice, but there are over 30 beers on tap, we tried the 4 flight pick your beer and most were flat. If you have that many taps, you better use them, because flat beer is no fun. Anyway, 75 dollar tab for 2 with an appetizer and one shake. So go to 5 guys where the burger really is the star!

It started out great. Server was attentive, menu had my mouth watering, and atmosphere was comfortable. Once drinks and appetizer came it went downhill fast. Server disappeared and our drinks sat empty the rest of the meal, as did his table next to us. Tater tot fondue was frozen tater tots with a bland cheese sauce, not what the menu described. Burgers came out and they were not what I pictured a $12 burger to be. Grocery store looking bun, sauces werent good, the burger patty seemed small, the macaroni side we spent an extra $2 for tasted like it came out of a box, cheese and all, and the burgers were soggy. I was a little shocked when the burgers came out in no time at all (less than 10 minutes) at a medium well cook. I found out why when they arrived. I got the impression they spent more time writing the menu to sound upscale than they did preparing the actual food. Just a disappointment all around. To top it off, our bill came to $67 for my wife, two kids and me. I can handle that when its over the top outstanding food even if the service sucks, but we left feeling like we had been taken advantage of. We definitely wont be back and do not recommend this place, especially to families with younger children. We ended up cooking dinner at home after all this because we couldnt force it down. I wish I could write about how good it was because we love finding new places we can rave about!! Biggest let down since moving to this area a year ago.

So not worth the money. I bought two burgers and fries, $10.50 for both. Sounds reasonable. I ordered my food to go, and the lady whom took my order repeated it exactly how I told her I wanted on my burgers. I go to pick it up, everyone was relatively friendly. The lady whom took my order/ bartender was not. She had a negative attitude all around. I get my order, and I leave. I get home and they had both my burgers wrong, and the fries were cold. (Mind you I only drove 4-5 minutes.) I go back to correct this thinking it was a simple mistake. I told her what was supposed to be on there once more, she said she would correct it along with the fries. A minute passes she comes back out, tells me fixed it and I checked them both then went home. I get home and take a bite out of my burger. I tasted the pickle that she obviously did not change the bun or the onion on it. Im allergic to pickles so this ruined my whole dinner. Also, again the fries were cold but seemed to just be reheated. I worked in food myself and I know it is not okay to just take things off, then just put it back together like that. If the manager was around, she would had gotten in major trouble. Im never eating there again due to this horrible service and food. This was ridiculous.

Food is good, service needs work. Im sure it will improve with time, but weve been twice with issues both times. First time the order was wrong, but it took long enough to come out we just ate it and moved on. Second time, meals came out one at a time over the course of 15 minutes. When we were down to just one missing, after 10 minutes of no waitress and noticing the other wait staff looking at us like something wasnt right (I assume they were noticing our situation, and thankfully reported it to someone), I was informed that part of our order wasnt put in and they apologized and got it out to us pretty quickly. Food was great on that occasion, but it isnt worth the hassle. No one who had their food was able to enjoy it because it is awkward to eat while not everyone has their food, it was just a mess. Also, unrelated, but their BR sauce is basically ketchup mixed with mayo, so if you were hoping for something new and different, hit up Burger Shack in Nolensville.
