This has to be the worst experience Ive ever had in my entire life! Walked in at 7:30 pm with 3 other customers there. Was seated and never greeted until about 10 minutes later when someone walks up and says are you ready to order. There were no menus on or around the table so I asked for menus. When the waitress came back (in a timely fashion) I asked for a sweet tea. She replies by asking dont we want to order our food. I said yes after we order our drinks considering wed already been there at least 15 minutes. We proceeded with our order and she scrambled to understand what we were ordering. She had no idea what scattered, smothered, covered and chunked was without referencing the menu in a very clueless way. We got one drink almost immediately that was 3 quarters of the way full, a 2nd drink about 3 minutes later, and my drink came about 5 minutes later after she told me twice she was going to get it. After finally receiving the last drink she attempts to call the order and she gets her head bit off by the cook who screams to her CANT YOU TELL I HAVE NO ROOM TO PUT ANY ORDERS ON THE GRILL. My waitresses politely says just let me know when you are ready. As we are waiting our waitress continues to do a few other things constantly talking to herself. The other waitress was throwing plates around loudly arguing with the cook since the moment we had walked in. When my waitress was advised she could call our order she appeared to call it as if she had no idea what she had written down and struggled heavily. At that point I was really worked up about the behavior of the staff and lack of training. I turned to my husband and told him lets pay for the drinks and leave because this is absolutely ridiculous. He said lets wait because they just put the food on the grill. So we did. My husbands order was wrong, my son was given my food and I was given his. No worries we switched plates. My husband just wanted to get out of there so he ate what he was given. The cook decided she was going out on break which is understandable but the hostile waitress says something about it because she wants to go outside. The cook screams at her saying ITS MY TURN YOUVE BEEN OUT TWICE SINCE I HAVE. Thats understandable but screaming at another employee in front of customers, in my opinion, is uncalled for. Im not sure who management is there or where they were but this place needs a major overhaul in attitude adjustments and training. I cant say this for every employee there but the 3 in particular that were there has no business in the place with the way they behaved themselves. All the customers that were there were just shaking their heads the entire time. It is truly a shame because I enjoy their food but needless to say because of the experience I WILL NEVER VISIT THAT ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. It is sad because I am sure they probably do have a few employees that do their job correctly and have a great attitude.

I am currently working out of state and living in a hotel room right down the road from this waffle house. I felt like having breakfast for dinner so I asked the hotel staff where would be the best place to go, they advised me of this Waffle House. So... where to begin... I entered the place and said hello to the person behind the counter and received a blank stare to start off, but didnt care, I was there to eat, so I sat down at a table and made up my mind within 5 min of what I wanted but did not get any service while waiting.. that is NOT why I gave one star, its the fact that TWO people came in after I did and they seemed to be hungrier than I was because no one came to my table. The first person after me complained about the air conditioning being set too cold and then was told where it was warmer then he sat down and his order was taken. The second person after me came in about 15 minutes after the first person put in their order. Thus person sat down and he didnt even get to look at the menu and there was a server asking what his drink choice was asked if he knew what he wanted to order... I looked up at the server as she passed by assuming that I would be next but, NOPE. So after sitting patiently for 25 minutes and witnessing two others receive service I decided that I apparently was not eligible for service and left. I was disappointed that the highly recommended by the hotel staff waffle house felt like I did not need to be served.. I will NEVER be returning here..

The first time in years I went to this Waffle House I sat down at the bar to place an order to-go the server was very friendly and personable, the kind youd expect in a small southern town. I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time and we got to talking while the cook was making my food. He asked me if I lived close by and when I said I did, he asked me if I was happy with his service and if Id be a regular customer. When I said that I planned to come back often, he made a point to remember my name and my order. He said that he was in high school and that his dream was to go to culinary school and open his own restaurant and he knew (at such a young age) that success stems from happy customers. I have been back once a month for the past 4-5 months and he always greets me by name and makes sure my food is made quickly and to my liking.

I ordered the steak and eggs and my steak tasted tainted like it was weeks old, the eggs were soaked in butter and slid around the plate like they were ice skating. The hash browns were also soaked in butter burnt on one side and uncooked on the other, a true feat of horrible cooking. There was so much butter it oozed off the food and filled the plate before being completely drained from the food. When I brought these issues to the attention of my server she look lost and confused, then the cook had an attitude claiming that it looked great. I do not expect great food, it is a Waffle House but this is far from the mark of a professional establishment. They did not offer to comp the meal considering the only bite I took was spit back on to the plate. Save your money and time and go to the Wendys next door, they have great service and food.

We walked in -Friday night- 7:45. Two tables had people at them eating. Every other table was dirty. We walked up to a dirty booth, waitress never offered to greet us or clean it off. We waited and after she argued with the cook over what he could or could not call her, she finally with attitude came to clean off the table. She scraped all the trash into the booth seat then told me "youll have to get a napkin to wipe those off, I cant reach it" not "how are you" "thanks for coming in"... Nothing. I said "Im sorry?" Because surly I didnt understand her... Nope. She repeated. I then told my husband and girls we were leaving. She said "bye!" As we left. Never again. Trash working in there. I would rather eat anywhere else than there. Sad.
