A friend and I ate at this Waffle House about a month ago. When my bank statement came I realized they had charged me more than I had written on my receipt. I went up there, spoke with the manager, and showed him my receipt and statement and asked to see their copy of the receipt to see if I could find where the problem was. He said that he couldnt find it and that maybe the district manager had it and if Id leave my contact information with him then he would have him contact me. I waited about 5 days and didnt hear anything from either of them so I called back up there and the manager proceeded to accuse me of trying to get money back from all of the Waffle Houses in Wilson County. I told him that I had only contacted the South Mt. Juliet road location and I would not be accused of stealing when the only reason Im having to speak with him again is because of either his negligence to keep his receipts or because hes trying to cover for an employee who is stealing. Long story short I called the corporate office and they refunded the entire bill. There is no excuse for running me around in circles for a week and not allowing me to see their copy of the check. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful but this whole experience has rubbed me the wrong way.

We have been customers at WH for many years! On my birthday Good Friday my husband an I sat at the snack bar talking to friends ordered (omelet cooked by the district mgr an it was overcooked like a brick) while I was talking an trying to choke it down the server Shelby kept trying to clear my plate! Yes we were their some time but our server should not have told another server to come over an ask when are we leaving!!!!!! Mind you they were not busy at all!!! We gave her a 50% tip of the cost of our meal but the server that walked over said she has these 3 seats an she cant make any tips. The guy next to me gave her a $10. Different men come in an only order coffee an sit an talk for hours an they leave $3 an I have never seen anyone ever come over an say "when are you leaving?" Coffee is $2.02 with tax an they throw down $3. Thats not even a $1 tip! Humiliated on my birthday please ! Shelby will never get another tip from me.

Unbelievable... I got here around 255am. I was there with the expectation that it was a little busy so I was patient. Around 300am I got to place my order and I was reminded that it would be a long wait, no problem. At around 315am 3 different guys got to place their orders and by 325am they were out, while I was still waiting. Finally at 335am, thirty some minutes later, and after she had a few very unprofessional and juvenile meltdowns, I hear my waitress call out my order to the cooks. I unfortunately had to immediately tell her to cancel my order. I waited for over 30 minutes after placing my order and some how I was skipped and my order was delayed.

With any of the Waffle Houses, the food is only as good as the Grill Operator prepares it. As far as staff and management goes, Waffle House in general is a real joke. And when I say management, Im referring to upper management. Dont waste your time calling with a problem, because they will only side in with their district staff. Put it this way, how do you run a company where you have a District Manager that gets fired for sexual harassment, and then gets rehired into the same position within the same district?

I love Waffle House. HOWEVER, this Waffle House is the worst I have ever been at. The service is TERRIBLE. No drink refills. The staff doesnt care. Just awful. You are better off to go to the Cracker Barrell next door. The prices are roughly the same but with much better service. They need to sell this land and move on. They will not be profitable at this location with these clowns running it. Dont go here.

This location is always out of to go plates and if they do fix your order they dont have plastic wear to eat with. Im eating scrambled eggs with my fingers b4 work!! The people working there seem to have their heads elsewhere and it almost always takes 20 to 30 minutes to get my order to go!! They are losing me bussniss fast if they cant get good help or supplys for orders to go.

Terrible service, the entire staff needs to be fired and start over. Servers airing their problems between them selves. Vulgar language.... Worst WH Ive been to. UPDATE: After the renovation they have a new staff, I believe, (havent been during all shifts yet). But the service is markedly better! Gonna move it up to 3 Stars with hope to move up higher.

We stopped for breakfast while traveling home on Fathers Day. It was very busy, but they had staffed according with 3 Cooks, 4-5 waitresses, and a hostess to get folks seated as soon as seats became available. The staff was friendly and the food was prepared quickly and up to the usual high Waffle House standards.

I was treated very rudely. When I asked the girl what her name is she said, I cant tell you that, Im an associate. Waffle House in Mount Juliet should hire nicer employees or they will start to lose business.

Good food, but the staff dont always seem invested in their work. Everythings quite sticky, and you can sometimes sense tension in the air between coworkers. On the plus side, the waffles are to die for!
