Table of two seated right away. Thats where the good stuff ended. Tweenty minutes later our waitress shows up and takes our order (full order cause we had time to choose what we wanted.) Fifteen minutes later, we get our drinks. Another ten mins later we get our food. My order was wrong but i got the missing items in a timely fashion (five mins for a side of bacon).. well.. I pick up my burger and there is dried egg yolk from the previous guest.. or guests on my plate. I tell the waitress (whom doesnt even apologize. I know it wasnt her fault but still.. common courtesy) Anyways, she brings me my food on a new plate, or so i thought (more on that later).. So we are eating. Drinks maybe 1/8 of the way full. No refills yet. I have over half of my burger left and most of my fries. As does my sister with her sandwich. Waitress comes along "would yall like a to-go drink?"... i say "ummmmm no thank you but we would like a refill to finish our food here. Thanks".. She walks away. By now I have a bite or two left on my burger (still no drink refill) so I start eatin my fries.. get down to the final few and what do ya think was there???? Yup. You guessed it. The dried egg yolk from the previous guest/guests! She just simply moved the items around... REALLY???? Mentioned it AGAIN when she threw the check on the table and she just looked at us and walked away. (Never got those refills by the way) Told the manager (heavy set woman) about our visit when asked "how was everything?" ... No apologies from her either. Didnt even offer a discount. She acted like that was the norm there. Needless to say no tip was left. And I am contacting someone further up the chain. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

PROS: $-$$ Pricing, Typical IHOP menu, Good service, friendly staff most often, Clean tables/silverware, GOOD food most often, Excellent Location, Fairly decent customers most often (no dirty work clothing), Nice common exterior & landscaping, Plenty Free Parking, Clean enough & Roomy bathroom stalls most often. Yes, will substitute food choices if cannot eat certain choices. Amicable friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. No Time Restrictions on how long you remain IF REASONABLE timelength, that is. And rather nice to ALL RACES of humans! All in all a GREAT PLACE TO DINE ANYTIME OF DAY! CONS (possible improvements): Improve on Take-Out Order packaging and quantity of containers (sometimes bit too much (i.e.: huge black styrofoam container for just 2 small sausage links is bit much to carry if 5 other such containers with small food quantity). Bathrooms: Could use install of Automatic Lysol Air Freshener unit(s) to simply improve & prevent odorous bacteria in airspace. Also could use even more frequent cleaning and seats with electronically automated plastic toilet seat covers as in downtown Chicagos Harold Washington Library.

Just some helpful hints - PLEASE dont stack the dishes on TOP of each other when bringing food out - the bottom of the plates shouldnt be sitting on top of our food. As the girl wraps silverware in open view - watching her scratch her face and neck and then pick up silverware (not by the handle part) was also kind of disturbing .... if you are serving and avacado dish let people know before you bring it out that the avocados arent ripe so they wont be present on the meal ( they may decide to order something different) .... sorry - just observations.

Last night the food was great and great service. Most times though it is hit and miss. I remember back when they first opened it always seemed like the service was horrible and the wait staff was always high as a kite. This has not been the case for the last couple of years. We typically only go very late at night after shows. Never go during the day. There is a massive gob of bugs hanging off the front of the building under the IHOP sign. Its just nasty. The inside is very clean though..

It is ok if you like pancakes which I dont unless they are homemade I made them for my girls and grandkids when they was little with the flour so when I go there I usely get only eggs and take my milk with me but it is a nice place to eat because I dont like the pancake that doesnt mean everyone else doesnt they do have a lot of other foods in there the beef tips if you have never tryed them then you must

Our waiter "Alex" was very nice and did a great job and would give him 5 stars. But having worked in restaurant management for a long time and CEO of a company I could really see problems in the store and in management. Looking around at all the issues going on between the staff and management was uneasy. Hopefully someone can come and clean this store up.

Thought Id give it another try this morning. Big mistake. Scrambled eggs so runny they almost dripped thru the fork. Also four bacon slices were burnt and almost too hard to chew. If a breakfast restaurant cant do eggs and bacon right then dont open up till dinner hour. Server did offer to get new eggs, he gets the one star.

On the rare occasion I eat out and dont go for the standard health conscious choice IHOP is a go to for me because I am a crape fanatic. I love crapes. IHOP happens to be one of the few commonly found places that makes them. This particular IHOP was exceptional due to the delightful staff and excellent service.

If u get a experienced waiter/ waitress then u will have a great experience. If u r unlucky and get a trainee well ur in for a rough time. However there has only been one instance were a bad waitress was at our side... Best to ask for Katrina during days and Jeremy at nights both r excellent

Food was god but not happy my family and I were put by bathroom. So every time someone went into bathroom and flashed the toilet I could hear it was disgusting so we asked to be move to a different table and that table had hairs all over it... It was just not a good experience for me!

Was told 15 minute wait only to be skipped over with the other customers in the vestibule because they have no organization. they have 6 tables within eyesight that are cleaned off yet they still have 30 people in their lobby waiting to be seated. This place is a joke.

Couldnt ask for better service, food, or environment!!! We are just a little partial to Dewey, the Server, but everyone seems very friendly. We usually go on Kids Night (Friday and Saturday). MY KIDS LOVE IT and so does our wallet ;)

I just dont like the fact that when I go there if I drive behind the building Im always seeing a drug deal go down not something Im wanting to see nor do my kids need to see its got so bad I wont drive behind the building

Our waitress was awesome but it took forever to get our food at least 45 minutes to an hr and some of it was wrong our waitress tried to make everything better for us she was so embarrassed but we will be back

This whole restaurant needs a makeover! The booths are broken down & made our legs itch like crazy! The service was ok considering they were busy...Our only complaint is the broken down itchy booths....
