first time dinning at this place and the language bearer was just to much!!!!!!!! Should have left at that point but we thought we would give a try. They brought out the chips and salsa and they were old/stale and the salsa was old like it had been heated then cooled over and over again we should have left but we thought lets go with it so we placed our order still the language bearer was a problem but I thought we and the waitress had a good understanding of what we wanted.... About 30 mins later we received our food the other 2 patrons was okay with their meal but said they would not eat at this place again and for my meal the refried beans-ok, rice-ok, salad/guacamole-ok and the copped beef chimichanga - cant say how it was cause I received the chopped steak chimichanga instead... At the end I spoke to a male employee and he said I ordered the wrong one and that the chopped steak is a little tough but I didnt order the chopped steak I order the ground beef and I made it clear to the waitress and she said/appeared she understood but the male seem the same way........ So we will not return to El Corral Mexican Restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The appearance was clean but the restaurant had an oder.........................

I called in my order and requested a steak and shrimp chimiganga dinner with an extra side of guac &peco...and I requested to go and packaged seperatly the cold items from the hot! When i got home..I find JUST steak NO Shrimp and no extra sides.! I PAID EXTRA but didnt get what I PAID for! Good Food! But they need to deliver WHAT is ORDERED!

We are regular diners, foods always great, service usually is too, but it seems to have all new staff. Not very good at customer service. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas and it had so much ice that we felt totally ripped off. No longer impressed with the service!

Perfect service the waiter my wife and I had was great. Kept our beer cold and hot as hell salsa which we asked for. The food we ordered was the best we had in long time. And we travel the country all the time and know what Mexican is suppose to be like

Awesome food, large portions, good price, fast courteous service, what more could you want? Gordonsville is a small town and home to some pretty darn good restaurants! If Im back this way in the future, Im gonna plan my stay over here!

The best authentic Mexican food in Smith County! I havent had a bad meal here. I especially enjoy their beef quesadillas and their chicken soft tacos! The chili con queso is also wonderful.
