Super disappointed. Im only giving three stars because it might be a nice market, I didnt stick around long enough to find out. It was my first visit. I stopped in for a deli sandwich (one of the pre-made ones) and a juice. Came to $21.80. ummmm.... I guess no juice? Fine, just the $11 turkey sandwich. It turned out to be the driest, most tasteless turkey sandwich Ive ever experienced. I wouldve demanded my money back if I didnt have to hurry on to work and the line was so long. After three bites of what was essentially protein sawdust and stale bread I tossed about 8.50 worth of sandwich. Really disappointing. I will avoid this place in the future.

Experienced and friendly staff with local and organic products. This is my go-to grocery store in town when buying everything from cheese to bulk rice. They have many specialty products that arent available in other places in Traverse city, and they go to great lengths to ensure their products are not only ethically sourced, but the best of the best! I especially love the avocados here, and the discounted goods in the produce and vitamin section. Also, you know how much they care when they welcome customer feedback and post it on the board near the entrance!

This place is awesome. They are a co-op and emphasize healthy options. They have produce, packaged goods, a meat department, a deli with some seating and a healthcare product section. They have bins and bins of grains, nuts, flours, even raw honey. They also have a wine section offering several local varieties. They offer discounts if you bring your own bag and if you are a member. They are pricey but remember the options are organic and local. And the food from the deli is out of this world good.

Can you get excited by a grocery srtore? Oh, yeah. This coop.is like a mini Whole Foods, with nearly as many products. Amazing produce section. Lots of locally/ regionally sourced foods in this foodie town; also a bakery, deli and even cafe. Service is super- friendly and helpful. You do not need to be a coop member to shop here. Located out of the way in a residential neighborhood next to the Boardman River; well worth GPSing.

Yes its that crunchy, dorm room feeling when you smell Patchouli. However for local, organic, sustainable, non-gmo, lactose free, gluten free, vegan, no artifical preservatives, no artifical color from fair trade corporations, with no animal tested items sold in recycled content and 100 recycled fiber this place has it all. The coffee is a great, the produce and grocery selection are on point. The deli is always busy

I love this place for my vitamin supplements and essential oils. Fruits, kombucha, bulk granola and others. Employees are super helpful and friendly. My only caveat is that customers are generally rude and in their own world. If they are having social hour in there, they will not acknowledge you or move out of your way in aisles. I avoid it if the parking lot looks full for this reason.

I love my coop. It is not only a great place to shop and support our many local farmers and food processors, but a place to bump into friends. The coop has a certain, comforting aroma; a mixture of botanicals and delicious food. I have found that entering here, after particularly sad and difficult days, I am instantly comforted by the smell. I doubt I am the only one.

Oryana is the one store where I shop where I leave feeling energized and happy instead of tired and depleted. The staff are wonderfully caring and knowledgeable. They have great local produce and tons of really great tasting food. Love the local soaps and lotions too! Try the fresh baked muffins and cookies with one of the best coffee drinks in the region. Wow.

Good healthy options. This is a co-op and they feature locally grown products, fruit, veggies and meat. They have a deli that serves wholesome items like soups, sandwiches and smoothies. The only reason I didnt give oryana 5 stars is that it is pricey. But the people are wonderful and the products are top of the line.

Great quality food at a somewhat reasonable price. . . definitely pay for the higher quality but they also accept food cards Ive been told so that helps I think. They have live entertainment most days. Typically mellow acoustic, or hippie style performances (Haha). Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Awesome fresh fruit quality. I bought Cherries, Plum, Peaches and Nectarines. The quality was way better than what we even get at our local Whole foods. The rest of the market looked very interesting too, but we did not have a chance to try anything else. But now they are on our list for our next trip.

This place has the best selection of organic food and other things in traverse city. They have good ownership deals as well as regular mark downs and coupons. Its very well kept, with a tasty cafe inside. I only wish the hot bar had more options (understandably so, since it is a small co-op).

Best place in the region for fresh produce and other amazing products. Lovely store with very helpful staff. Tons of places to sit and eat inside or outside. Very reasonable prices too. Whenever I am in town, this is where I start my day with coffee and breakfast.

I am very impressed by this store, tucked away up north. It rivals most any co-op in a larger city. Great local produce, good deli/juice/coffee bar, good selection of grocery items, and super nice employees who are always helpful. What a gem in northern Michigan.

Our long established local co-op. Fairly expensive, but they have tons of organic and local foods. There is a daily hot bar and numerous soups to choose from if you dont feel like cooking. Their bagels are delicious.

Great selection of good, clean food. A bit expensive, but Im willing to pay the premium on some stuff I can only get here. Love all the nut butters you can get here. The lunch counter is great as well.

Although pre-packaged products are a bit pricey, the bulk foods section is extensive and reasonably priced. Great selection of foods for vegetarians and vegans. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff!

I love Oryanas. It has yummy food you cant find a lot of other places. The only thing bad is that it can be very pricey at times. Besides that, Oryana Natural Foods Market is really good.

Everything says natural, including the name, which means absolutely nothing, the word organic is nowhere to be seen in the store, sure wish there was a Whole Foods store in Traverse City

Love this place. I go here every time I am in Traverse City. While it is on the pricier side I love the fresh produce and many many VEGAN options offered. Will continue to return!
