Oh my gosh where do I even begin? First of all Im from Louisville Kentucky. The saw is quite nervous to roll up on this wood building seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The small parking lot was packed and people were going in and out. We walked in and immediately notice the most hard-working waitstaff Ive ever seen. It was like a well-oiled machine. But forget all of that, well talk about the food. I literally felt like I was 12 again and my dad have been on the grill all day and my mom cooking in the kitchen. The baked beans were the best Ive ever had. The mac and cheese was that creamy American cheese that I remember as kid. And oh my goodness the smoked juiciest ribs that was so tender and soft. So everything was perfect and then I asked about desserts. The way just told me that they had banana pudding. So I asked if real meringue was involved , if it was an actual custard and not the jello mess. And the waitress reassured me feel like the third time that day but everything they made was homemade. This banana pudding....sigh. so then the iced tea for the complete southern experience. The team which was serving and a double size mason jar took me back to my grannys front porch aside her glass jar of sun tea. Look if thats not enough, the prices are reasonable the food is ginormous and the people were so friendly. So much so that I only have a debit card on me and you must pay with cash. The waitress told me that I could go ahead and eat and then go and get the money from an ATM and bring it back. Like Im trying to figure out when my next trip will take me within 60 miles of this place.

Was told about this place from my co-workers at Newton Nissan and I am so glad I tried it out! The burgers and chicken tenders are so good! BBQ is good also but my favorite are the burgers and chicken tenders. Havent tried the ribs yet but heard they are good too! The service is great and it is a really nice atmosphere. Just a heads up, if you are planning on getting in and out at lunch time be sure to come before 12 because it can take a while to get your food because they cook everything on the spot and it can take some time. But man is it worth it! Sometimes its these little places that have some of the best food!

Had the 1/2 rack of ribs, with cole slaw and fries. The ribs were baby backs, served slathered in a mild sauce and fell off the bone - really good ribs! The slaw was fine-cut and slightly sweetened "mayo" (just like my folks used to make it), crinkle-cut fries were nicely done and fresh. They were jam-packed with customers, but everything went really smoothly - good wait staff! Prices were comparable to similar places, menu is super-simple. Definitely will be eating there again - going to have the catfish next time, it got rave reviews from the folks I talked with.

Best BBQ! The service is usually pretty quick and friendly, just takes a while to get a seat at certain times. I only give 3 stars because they never answer the phone for to-go orders, so if you want to get something to take home, you have to physically go there to order, most likely have to wait in a line, and then wait for your order to be ready to take home. I understand theyre busy, but if theyre too busy to answer the phone they obviously need to hire someone just to do that because I know plenty of people probably try to call in orders.

Everything you eat here is delicious. Its so fresh and well seasoned, cooked to perfection. It is a cash only establishment. Theyre Ribs and burger and chicken oh me oh my we absolutely love it. You cant go wrong here best barbecue in town and the ribs just fall of the bone. One thing I would definitely recommend as well is the fruit tea, do not leave without trying it. Delicious cozy place, only thing that bums me out is the hours because I wish it was open all the dang time so I could eat there food.

I absolutely love the food here, but the parking is horrible. I would give 5 stars if they accepted credit cards. I forgot and stopped by the other day to get takeout (which was going to be worth the 40 minute wait) without cash. I walked away broken hearted to my car WAY back in a gravel parking lot, head hung low and cursing myself for not bringing cash. Oh, they also take checks, oddly enough. Definitely go here, but go early and carry cash...

Fun, local joint that serves great food - BBQ is awesome as well as the catfish. Havent tried a burger here, but some of my friends have and say they are great as well. Portions are plentiful and there is a good selection of sides to choose from. The staff is all super friendly & make sure you are taken care of. This is a really popular place, so go early and be prepared for a wait at times - totally worth it. Cash or check only.

We were traveling through, avoiding accidents on 65 through Nashville, and found this place. It was great! Had the fried catfish with slaw and greens. Great! My husband got BBQ platter, slaw and baked beans. Amazing! Prices were cheap and portions were large. Be sure to have cash/check and some time to wait for a table. Service was great! I wish we lived closer, so I could go back.

I live in Birmingham, where great barbeque is really easy to find. Ive always bemoaned the lack of great hog to eat when I visit my parents, but no more. Top Hog is as good as (almost) anything I can get at home. If you live near it, it should be your go-to place for pulled pork. BEWARE: Its cash-only, so be sure to stop by the ATM on your way there.

We love Top Hog. Its the best bbq we have ever eaten. And the cat fish is to die for. I took my dad and step mom a few weeks ago and they said they have found their new bbq. Best pit smoke bbq you could ever eat. Only one down fall they dont take cards of any kind. Cash only... they might still take checks.

I ordered ribs. My wife ordered a burger steak. Food wasnt bad. The ribs were too smokey. Some people like me like that. It took away from the meat. It was overpowering. Otherwise, the food was good. Plenty of places to park. A little off the beaten path. Not a place you would run into on the main roads.

I dont like barbecue so I cant say if its good at Top Hogs or not but they definitely have the best burger in Gallatin. If your in town and are craving a good burger at a good price Top Hog BBQ is the place to go. P.S. Their bacon is awesome so be sure to order bacon on your burger.

I know this is a BBQ place, but Im still hung up on their cajun style fish, onion rings, and cheeseburgers. When I get my fill on that, I will maybe try their BBQ. Great food, but if you hate waiting, you best go at non rush hours, and you still wont have the place to yourself.
