I decided to spend my lunch break today at Hana Sushi. This was the biggest mistake of my day. I have an hour to spend on lunch each day while working and it took more than half that time for anyone to take my order, in fact, my order was never taken! Upon arriving I was seated quickly and given a menu. The waitress walked off and returned 5 minutes later and took my drink order. She promptly walked off without giving me a chance to order my lunch, which id already decided upon. 20 minutes passed before my drink was delivered, and yet again, the waitress walked off without taking my order. I waited another 5 minutes before deciding enough was enough and leaving. I cant review the food as I never received any and I dont plan to return to try it. (Ill go ahead and add that this was noon on a Friday and there were only 4 tables, including mine, that were taken. 1 of those tables was a 6 person party but that doesnt excuse the unacceptable service I received.

I came in to get an order to go. Everything was simple enough. A lobster roll and two orders of crab rangoons. I get home 30 minutes away and get the order out, its not what I ordered. Its Shrimp. Very clearly shrimp, we have a shrimp allergy in our home and had to throw it away immediately. I called to explain the situation and to ask for either my money back or a credit seeing as I just gave them money for something I didnt receive. The woman on the phone told me "I dont care, its not my problem". Isnt that awesome?!? She nearly sent someone to the hospital and she doesnt care. Ill never be back.

Sushi is good but not great. I think Krogers Sushi is better lol... Ive eaten here at least 5-7 times and every time the rice was sparse and had to ask for it to be made with more rice which is a first for me anywhere. Other than that it was fine just not great. The first time I ate there I had the hibachi chicken lunch box/plate and the chicken had the taste that chicken has when its warmed up the next day (yall know what Im talking about lol) so now I always get sushi... Will definitely go back since its so close to my house and convenient...

Everything that I ate here was microwaved. I ordered the dinner box which was $9.95. It came out with cubed chicken, the sauce tasted like dirty water, and the veggies were hard and inedible. I tried some of my friends sushi, which wasnt as bad as my food, but honestly there is better sushi at Kroger than this place. The Playlist was also bizarre containing a mix of 4 mainstream songs and 4 covers by someone Im guessing works at the restaurant.

This is a great place to be! The sushi is made with grace and love, as well as a very caring waitress:) Sometimes it is very busy which would be stressful for anyone! I would suggest going on a leisurely day/night to enjoy the drinks and food because if you have a thin line of patience that will ruin your meal anywhere you go! So sit back, relax and have some good fun yummy memories as Hana Sushi. P.S. Try the Tempura Kamikaze:)

I moved here and sushi is my favorite food and I had a hard time finding a good place in this area that I trusted with sushi. I tried a couple of places in Madison and Goodlettsville and no no no, Hanna Sushi is where its at. They are affordable and delicious. Their yum yum sauce is good! Take it from someone who eats sushi allllllll the time. Hanna Sushi is where I will be returning.

The only thing worse than hanna sushi, is the barnacle scraped off the bottom of garbage ships. The sushi is as bland as card board. The miso soup tasted like dish water and other than the waiter (who was apologetic ) by far the WORST. SUSHI. EVER. that the Nashville area has to offer. I seriously cant understand how a place this boring and nasty is in business.

I read the previous reviews and expected mediocre service, I have to say our waitress was so attentive, polite and friendly I felt compelled to argue that, at the very least, the service has done a 180. I dont think Ive ever had a better waitess. I ordered chirashi and it was fresh, beautiful, and tasty. Would recommend to anyone!

Subpar. Salad and ginger was terrible and I ordered the Salmon lover(?). 6 crunchy salmon sushi with 6 fresh cut over a ball of white rice. Quality of sushi was nice but didnt really stick out with any other high quality sushi joints. Would eat here again if I was in the mood for sushi and nearby it for convince purposes.

This place is always phenomenal. Fish is soooo fresh and the sushi is just amazing. It is also the cheapest place to eat sushi Ive ever been too.... Very relaxing environment and super friendly staff, same two sushi chefs and food is consistently great. Lunch special 3 rolls for 8.75 is just crazy cheap.... 5 stars.

Although the food was good I felt like the waitress/hostess was a used car salesman trying to Bully us into bottles of saki. Then when we used our coupon for five dollars off she laughed at us and said haha u spent 1 dollar to little to use coupon. We were the only people there on a Friday night......

Absolutely phenomenal! Out of every sushi restaurant around Nashville and surrounding areas, this one is my absolute favorite. Consistent, polite, timely, delicious, multiple options, and great owners and management! Theyll even remember your order if you go enough! Ive eaten here 4 times in a week! Love it!

If youre a college hippy needing an entertaining supper, this is your place. The atmosphere was loud. We waited for our food for over an hour just to find out the table behind us received our food. The sushi was good. Our overall experience was very poor, and we will not return.

This is decent sushi, but nothing special. Maybe Im biased as someone who has lived near/visited and tried truly great sushi (west coast, east coast, chicago), but I thought the sushi was just ok. I had both nigiri and rolls, and I liked them but was not impressed

Sitting at the sushi bar was great; the sushi chefs were very good and the food was not only great tasting, it was beautiful and decorative. Excellent service from all in the restaurant! Thanks Hana Sushi! We will be back there again and again. Victor and Jeanie

Its sushi in South. Do not expect your tune to be delivered from the Pacific the night before. But its good, non-fast food restaurant for the money. We eat there with my colleagues often and keep coming back. Its good sushi in the area for the money.

Hana Sushi is by far the best sushi anywhere near Hendersonville. In fact I would put this sushi up against sushi on the west coast anyway. Great food, great people. I tell everyone who likes sushi that Hana is the only place to go.

We love this place! We are frequent guests/take-out from there and never had a compliant. The sushi and fried rice are the best in the area. The pink lady and shaggy dog are our favorites. I highly recommend Hana Sushi
