I know this has little to nothing to do with rating them but felt I should point it out. I have not been to a ponderosa in many years however the last time I was they served steak on the buffet, (irritated we went here instead of Golden Corral for this reason). No to the review, the staff seemed very laid back to the point it took 5 min for someone to come to the front (only 4 tables were sitting down when we arrived and no one else was up front, after being sat down I asked about the steak and no one knew. I mean literally I asked 3 employees and all were like I dont know. I also asked if their was a difference between the food you got for lunch and dinner again they did not know. When the manager finally was seen I asked them and they said no. Wait so we get there 10 min before the "change over" but still get charged the higher price for the exact same food? Speaking of the food horrible it tasted like mush I had a half plate I did not finish referring the whole time not taking the trip we should have. My advice go to Golden Corral

The food was like home cooking...we so enjoyed...we were traveling through and stopped in for dinner after a long hard day of work..ii forgot my lappad on the table when we left and didnt knowtice untill 3 hours later...i was devastated as our business information and all our children and Grandchilden are full of pictures ...We are so greatfull for your honesty and kindness..5 stars are not even enough for how you went above and beyond..God Bless you Girls.. Trucker passing thru parked behind Kroger... This Ponderosa is just excellent food. Linda, my waitress is about the best waitress ever. Dont know how any Vols could whine about this place, unless youre just cranky about not winning a championship in so long. In fact I thought this was Arkansas, folks are starting to look and squealing more like Razorbacks than Vols. Get out and get some exercise, woo pig soooeee! heh, excellent food, the people are great.

Dont waste your money here. Back in the 80s this was a good place for dinner, now its just a place to fill up on tasteless buffet fodder for the masses. No flavor, no seasoning. If you order a steak and the buffet and decide you get full and want to take your steak home, they REFUSE! I paid for it and they wont let me have my steak? Never again!

Hello all..."Public elephant at large" here ready to proclaim the grass can be greener on the other side of the fence....Such a bountiful salad bar of fresh greens....The Jolly green giant would have been proud...after a couple hours of grazing this prime pasture i finally got my fill.....Such a friendly an non judgmental staff ......great job !!!!

This place is a slop-house. The food is at least two weeks old, the staff only care about fishing for tips via telling sob stories and the buffet was very unsanitary. I dined there last night and Im still having trouble digesting what I ate. Garbage! Garbage! Garbage!

Well my son got second-degree burns from the hot water got splashed up on him at the buffet by one of the employees changing out macaroni and cheese now I have constant diarrhea and throw up twice on the way home. But other than that good and cheap place to eat.
