The restaurants location is not at a good looking place, but the food is very good. I was craving for Chinese food that night. I picked the place because it was close to the freeway on our route. I usually like to see how the buffet looks before actually eating. I was surprised to see how fresh looking the food was. They had raw oysters and crab legs, too. They also had a small section with raw meats and veggies to have them cook. I selected their chicken, shrimps and pork. They did a good job cooking it. The only thing that I found disappointing was their wasabi. It was too dry, but after adding some Soyu it tasted good. All-in-all for the price of the buffet and their variety of food selections made it a worthwhile trip to eat at despite the initial rundown look of the restaurant.

Today was the first time I experienced bad customer service from any restaurant. The main Lady that takes you to your seat was REALLY rude. My mom wanted a seat where it wasnt cold and the Lady gave her a glare. She didnt even hid it she stopped and looked back at her. She took us to this even colder place and then mocked us by saying "oh yeah no cold" then she took us to a third table and literally threw the silverware on the table. My father told her she needed to calm down and if she was okay. She replied with an Im fine and left to send someone else to take our order

i suggest that NO ONE go eat here! The food is absolutely terrible and the service is the worst i have ever become aquainted to. I took one bite of my food and automatically lost my appetite! As did my girlfriend. but i thought that it was just that one bite..... no no noooo it was everything! EVERYTHING WAS TERRIBLE! I waited twenty minutes to get my drink refilled so that i could wash down the worst tasting food i had ever eaten down but it was never refilled. So if anyone reads this DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

I was staying right behind the resturant so I decided to walk over because of convienince. I ordered a bottled drink and a General Tsos chicken dinner plate. This ran about 9$. The food was prepared fairly quickly with decient portions. I saw the mixed reviews so i decided to give them a fair chance. The food however was mixed quality. The fried rice was very dry and bland. The chicken was decently cooked and was equally sweet and spicy. So this resturant gets a solid three.

I did not like being charged for my 8 year old as an adult and 2 year old as a 7 year old boy. No me gustó que me cobraron por mi hijo de 8 años como adulto y hija de 2 años como niño de 7 años.

The food not good. I got take out and if you get beef anything be prepared to chew forever. Its like rubber. I tried to order a sushi roll and was told with attitude that "you get off buffet. 6.99lb". It was maybe 2 out of 5 stars on the sushi. They had no description of what you was getting. I wouldnt recommend this place. They do have a huge buffet but if the food is no better than the take out I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!!

i eat there all the time she always my waitress, she make sure my drink not watered down by the ice and the food is great and fresh with too many choices she makes sure my table is clean by the time i get back from the buffet bar.i suggest for any traveler or local folk stop by and look for Ting-ting at Grand Buffet,she is nice,friendly, cares about your eating experiences.

The options are minimal. Undercooked rice and rice noodles. Sesame chicken swimming in some sauce that didnt taste right. The staff constantly yells at each other in different languages and are quiet inattentive. The water they gave us the first time was okay but when they refilled it tasted like dirty dishwater. This place had the best review in the area? Youre joking.

The food tasted ok, and I was starving. I only ate 2 things yesterday, and apple early in the morning and the buffet here around 6 last night. 15 minutes after i left my gut felt like i had eaten a habenaro on an empty stomach. Around 1 am I started feeling nauseous and I am currently writing this review from the toilet where I have been ALL morning.

I totally disagree with the guy jit35175. I go to Grand Buffet about once a week with my son. This has to be the best buffet to eat in Tuscaloosa. The food is great, especially crab legs,fresh fruits and vegetables. And the servings are ample. I am satisfied with a guy waiter wearing glasses. He is very nice. I recommend this place to anyone! ...

The outside looked disgusting. At first I didnt even want to go in. We went in & asked to checkout the buffet first. We looked & it appeared fine. The girl at the front said something to the girl thats seating us in chinese as we walked away. She sat us in the back of the place where the place smelled bad. The food was cold & everything.

I have eaten here 4 times and enjoyed it every time. The hot bar with the different dishes of chinese food is very good and well worth the price they charge for dinner. Id rather be approached 5 times for more soda then being ignored and served food uand wouldnt serve to your dog. Thumbs up..keep up the great food and service!!!!!

The outside is disgusting. Then, the inside is nice. After sitting down I realized a awesome stench. I filled a small plate with food. After I sat down to eat. I realized the meat was wonderfully stone cold. Everything was absolutely disgusting. Hands down the worst buffet Ive ever been to. What a shame!!

Holy WOW! IVE NEVER EATEN IN SUCH A BAD PLACE! The color of the food is off, the food just isnt right. The selection is very limited. Just please look away and find another place, im sure a health inspector would shut this place down if they were to look into this place.

Meat in the dumplings wasnt fully cooked and had bone shards in it, also had a weird smell. Owners only response was that it wasnt her fault since they dont make the food in house anymore. Quality has taken an absolute dive recently. Never going back.

Outside looked old but its beautiful on the inside every last but of food was absolutely delicious and if you think s cold you can even get them to fry up food right infront of you like they do at kobes definitely recommend

Waste of money... Food was disgusting. There is not a big selection. The store hours are posted and say they close at 11 on fridays but they put the food up before 9:30. Hostess was rude. Will not be going back ever.

This place was nasty. The food was all luke warm, the staff forced soda on me the whole time, 5x they approached me to refill my soda, kind of annoying! The whole place isnt worth your money! DONT GO HERE!!!

The food in this restaurant is great. Although the building looks not good in the outside, it is beautiful inside! There are lots of different food. All of them delicious especially the Sushi and Hibachi.
