Well fried chicken wasnt cooked through all the way. I overlooked that as maybe just the piece I got. Waitress, Connie, was nice and very attentive to us. All was going well until. . . I went to the restroom and as I walked in a male employee came out of the back stall and didnt even look in the direction of the sink. I just about lost what I had eaten. I told the young lady at the register about what I had seen. She didnt seem terribly concerned about it. She just said She would handle it. As for me and mine, we wont be back. There is no excuse for poor hygiene. Two stars only because the waitress was so good.

This place is amazing! I normally avoid buffets but it was convenient. They were transitioning from breakfast to lunch so we got to try both. The breakfast offerings are extremely varied and prepared well. The lunch was the highlight though! It was possibly the best fried chicken Ive had and delicious fish, roast, ribs greens, beans and those were just my favorites. The salad bar also had a wide variety of offerings including a delicious crab salad. The variety for the price (8.99) is impressive, they have some excellent cooks in the kitchen. Great place for a family meal.

It truly depends on when you go. For breakfast it is great there is a little bit of everything from the buffet, and if you wish fresh eggs. However, any other time its last choice. My experience with the buffet is essentially all of the foods taste the same. Its your typical bland, virtually no seasoning foods. The soups were also flavorless, unless you added salt. Then they just tasted like salt. I would do breakfast there, but thats it. There are many other very good restaraunts in the area where the god is great, I would go there.

The food at lunch was 75% fantastic, but you have to ask about half the less obvious items as they arent marked. Wound up with pickles were allergic to, instead of the dills we thought they were, for just one example. Corn cakes need help. Veggies were all seasoned well, but had been cooked into soup. Service was not so great, but not terrible. Probably because they only had 2 servers on the floor for a full lunch crowd. Not smart. 4 at register/door and 2 on floor is NOT how it works, folks.

Ok, so Farmers isnt awful. But there are a couple of issues that seem to be chronic. First, even though there is steam coming off the food bar, the food seems always to be only Luke work. Secondly, the service is not very impressive. You will eventually get waited on, but there appears to be an attitude that they will get to you when its convenient. The first issue might be fixed by keeping the plates in a warmer; the second is for management to figure out.

Impressive food selection on multiple buffets and plenty of seating for large parties. You can walk in with 15 people on a Sunday after church and find quick seating and immediately grab a plate and head for the buffet :) Great for families with children who dont want to order and wait for food or people looking for a quick bite. The food is typical meat and three but the desserts are not very good.

Only been there for dinner. The buffet is ok but my husband likes the buffet. I primarily like going on Saturdays and ordering their crab legs. If you dont ask for them to put the order in as soon as you place your drink order, you may not get to in my experience. Service is not so great. They hardly come back to fill your drinks so you may not get to place your crab leg order if you wait.

This country style buffet will not leave you hungry, there is plenty of food at a decent price. My complaint is that most of the vegetables are either canned or cooked so long that they taste canned. I suppose for this price, this is to be expected. I will go back, but when I am in the mood for quantity over quality.

This has always been one of our favorite places to eat. This time however they forgot about our drinks until the end. The fish was to hard to eat , the chicken was dried out . Ribs were great though . Nobody came by to see if we needed anything . Might have been a bad day or short handed . Will try again sometime.

Bugs, flying all around me while Im trying to eat! Would have had fewer bugs outside. The waitresses only remark was "if you know how to get rid of them let me know"...how about start with calling a pest control company!! We used to love to eat here but I doubt well be back

Best place to eat in Columbia hands down. This place is special. Ive been all around the world in the military. And I can tell you there is nothing like the Thanksgiving you get every day at Farmers. Every time I come home I love to visit. Keep up the good work Farmers.

Food for the most part is good, but the fried chicken needs some work. After letting go of the first cook the fried chicken has not been the same. Batter is flaky loose instead of crispy, not the greatest, overall experience is not bad!

Plenty of selection but we showed up after 6 so slot was scraped out, like the cobblers. The food quality was ok, pretty standard buffet. But I was bummed so much was cool or only slightly warm.
