Never again! Never will I eat at this particular eatery again! Its all due to one older waitress with dyed blond hair. I was a waitress for 6 years in my younger days of college and NEVER...EVER...EVER...EVER! have I nor anyone else I know who waitresses did anything even CLOSE to what this woman did to my family tonight! My older son, who is a very tall and big autistic 12 year old...highly intelligent and high functioning...most people cant even tell hes autistic. He eats ALOT! Hes not fat by any means just the size and appetite of a man! I always get a plate of food for him that has the food he SHOULD eat and he gets 2 plates of what he WANTS to eat. Parents...you get it, right?! Ok. So, she followed me around the buffet and to the area we were seated at. After a minute she comes over and asks if theres anything wrong with the player food in the middle of the table. (My son was still up at the buffet so no one was eating it...yet. It was for my son.) So, she hung around and came back to the table 3 or 4 times about this plate of food. When he had come back he had 2 plates and put them in front of him...pizza first of course...and eating his ice cream first, naturally. We make deals prior to eating in order to get him to eat his brussel sprouts and broccoli and it works for us. Each time she questioned us concerning the food and said, "Oh, they get to eat their ice cream before their meal?" I tried to explain to her the way my 2 sons eat and in what order and the reason as I explained above in this review already. Mind you, this was NOT even her section! So, after that time at our tablr, she walks away and Im thinking good shes gone and finished with whatever her problem was. I grab my purse ton get my bottle of Calcium I am prescribed to take by my doctor and she RAN over to our table before I could put the bottle back in my purse and accused me of trying to steal food! She said she went into the office and watched me on the camera and saw me grab my purse. And...? Excuse me?! Im not allowed to grab my purse? And get my PRESCRIPTION that Im ordered to take with meals! So that explains the entire 20 minutes of her following me and coming to our table over and over again. And then she admittedly watches us on the video camera? Watches me take my calcium tablets. Im such a hardened criminal. This is beyond ridiculous. This was harassment and I believe discrimination of my autistic child just because he eats his ice cream first?! Really? I dont know what her problem is but she has one. A big one. Abd, who was taking care of her tables, may I ask? She was so focused on us, she wasnt doing anything else. I was keeping an eye on her through the window so I could see her behind me. I could feel her staring at us. And, she was. My 12 yr old asked, "Mom, why is that woman staring at us?" I told him some people have problems and she has one apparently. This place hires people with mental impairments obviously and its terrific that they do. However, the should be stable on their medications before being allowed to come into work.

The new procedure having the waitress deliver plates, silverware, drinks etc. is having the opposite effect then the one desired! The plates still have food/crust on them, you have to wait until some one finally brings the necessary items, and the waitress is so overwhelmed with delivering plates and silverware she apparently does not have enough time to refresh drinks and check in with customers to make sure everything is ok. I had the same waitress a few weeks back before the change and she was in high spirits and served us well, we left her a $10 tip, this time around she looked like she hated being there and was barely able to help us with our needs, I asked for stake sauce and by the time I got it I was through with the rest of my plate and my stake was cold. This is not a well thought out plan. I might add that between the two chefs/cooks preparing the stakes, one guy told me they were all rare to med/rare and right after he told me that he switched with another guy and as soon as he did the new guy asked what I needed I told him med/well he cut a piece and showed it to me and it looked med/well, now before this I had went up there to grab my wife a stake and she as well likes her med/well and the first guy served me her stake rare bleeding out of the stake. IF! If I go back I will be taking pictures and posting them online! This was at the Pensacola, Fl. restaurant.

I have been to this Golden Corral since they open about 17yrs ago and I have NEVER heard a bread machine like tonight when I was eating during the busiest time of the day. It was loud and monotonous for a solid 25min before my wife had a seizure due to the banging it was making. I asked the girl behind the counter where it was to please turn it off. I had to ask her 3X before she even heard me it was so loud. She said I had to get a manager. So,while my wife was still having a seizure I found Mrs. Burns and I asked her if she could turn the machine off because it was causing my wife to have a seizure Mrs. Burns finally turned it off,then to my surprise I saw her smiling and laughing about it behind the dessert counter! I asked for her and let her know what I thought about her smiling about my request and then asked for the store manager,Jerry. He was worse than Mrs. Burns and only replied that he was paying a guy $10 an hour to make bread??? WHAT! Like I cared about how much he paid someone to make that excruciating noise. I do not have seizures,but it bothered me so much I couldnt even relax and eat in peace. They either need to find another way to make bread or better yet MAKE IT DURING SLOW TIMES OF THE DAY,NOT PEAK HOURS WHEN THE MOST PEOPLE ARE EATING!

Very dirty, food all over under buffet tables that appeared to have been there for months, rest room was so filthy it hadnt been cleaned in hours. Chocolate fountain had foam coming out of base area and dark stains on ceiling tiles and dirt on ceiling. Myself and my family quit eating their food after looking around and seeing how unsanitary things were. Called Golden Corral Corporate and never got a call back so called health Department on them. It reminded me of Kooter Browns down the street from them that was on the news for flunking their health inspection after an employee rated them out, we had gone to Kooter Browns the year before for Football and got 3 dirty glasses in a row and didnt drink our beer and left it was so filthy. I dont know if Escambia County Florida Health inspector is being paid off or they just arent doing their job but these Restaurants around here in Escambia County Florida are not being properly inspected at all.

This place is totally disgusting. I was once employed here, the customers would throw up if they only knew how nasty the kitchen actually is. So much for thinking you are getting fresh food, alot of the food is saved from the buffet the night before and reheated and put back out so dont be suprised when youre wondering why it looks so dry and old. The employees will put their hands in different food and eat out of it and then take it out and put it on the buffet for everyone to eat. But hey I guess they say what happens in the kitchen should stay in the kitchen right? Well youve been warned!
