Wish I could rate this half a star to no stars !! My husband and I took our son and daughter out for a late lunch here today around 2:40 for our sons 10th birthday family outing day. Walked in it looked like a nice place to eat, on our way to the table there was a man that had a plate of food that looked VERY good, made us hungry. We were seated on the other side of this man in a booth. The bar wasnt full of fresh food but we did find good things to eat. My family was working on our second plate of food. The man next to us also was on the way back to his seat at this time a employee/waitress met him at the table as he sat his plate down the employee told him his was wasting food! He needed to pay for his food and leave! He became puzzled at this point as he explained why the plate of food with a napkin over it was wasted she became angry out of control and started cussing him he put his hands in the air and said he was in disbelief and was leaving but would not pay for the food due to the rudeness and craziness of this employee as he goes to leave the employee shoves him pushing on him yelling and cussing him saying he wasnt going any where and asked for someone to call the police for him..... ALL while my KIDS are a booth away freaking out !!!! (One kid with ADD and the other with major anxiety to drama on my sons 10th birthday outing!!!!!! ) My husband paid for our food with the owner only discounting him $2.75 after leaving without finishing our food due to this...dont mind at all paying for our food but my kids should not have to worry about employees fighting customers that done NOTHING wrong!!!! My family will NEVER be back to this place!!!!!!

I hate writing bad reviews, so I am truly sorry for this. I will start this review by hating the rice. It literally tastes like rotten rice. Almost sour. Way over cooked with to much water as well. Next I had the bean curd and veggies.. which for all that dont know means TOFU and Veggies... Try cooking it in a light layer of oil and making more crispy, not soggy ... Soggy tofu is just weird... also the shape of your tofu....was it ripped apart or cut with a knife? My wifes sushi ..probably due to the rice... also tasted horrid... Your seaweed salad you can tell came right out the package.. You could of made it a little less cheap..by adding cucumbers... I am not trying to sound like an ass hole..but this was just not a great experience. I hope my tips for your cooks help you out... I wish you luck hope the place gets better... OHHH and BTW ... Big complaint...This place is way to AMERICANIZED. It should not be called Asian Buffet.. Instead call it American Buffet with Asian options.

I used to come here when it was China King and it was my favorite. So when I heard it was now the Asian City Buffet, I wanted to try it. I was so disappointed. The food was not good, I tried everything that I could and it was all nasty. I dont know how you mess up steamed rice but it wasnt good at all. The inside of the restaurant is nicely renovated but I didnt want to pay $100 to see nice walls and carpets. Needless to say, we wont be going back.

If i could give 0 stars i would. My car is in the shop so my husband and i ordered take out so 1st we call for delivery and got a meal for 2 the lady otp say we have to order more food, so we order a app. Long story short: they sent out the wrong appetizer then when i called back she was rude and was trying to charge extra because they made a mistake during busy time. We just hung up and for now on out we will stick to dominos for delivery.

When my wife an I went there the buffet trays were almost empty and few to choose from. The time we stayed I seen only 1 tray refilled. The table servers were nonattendant, in that no drink refills were offered. It was a cold atmosphere. I liked the operation it was before. My choice is the China buffet in oak grove. I feel welcomed there and they have more choices to choose from

We came here after 9PM. They were almost closed but the owners came out and greeted. They were very friendly. They told us if we wanted anything, they would bring. My husband got freshly cut watermelon. The service was great. Some food were little too salty but we were happy over all. If you want to taste real Tennessee southern hospitality besides food too, I recommend here.

Food is fresh. Good variety of Asian cuisine. Friendly staff. For those who think you need all you can eat crablegs, that is what keeps their price at a fair price. You can purchase crablegs separately. Most people abuse the amount of crablegs when it is all you can eat and waste what is truly edible. Overall, this is a good place to eat!

Wow. The staff was amazing! The foods selection didnt compare to China king, but what they had was 100 times better compared to the same food over at China king. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the desserts were different than the normal. The whole place was beautiful and super clean. Will definitely go back!

The only thing I enjoyed was the miso soup. Trays were empty and they didnt bother to bring out fresh food. The food I did taste wasnt that great. China King in oak grove is much better for the price. Also I had to go grab our waitress for the check she was chatting with a coworker instead of paying attention.

All in all Id say it was worth the price, especially with it being a buffet, the staff was all courteous and good at their job. My drink was refilled every time I got to about halfway gone, without me having to ask. My empty plates were also taken away promptly, so none of them got in my way.

Hidden germ place for decent lunch. With only 9 bucks full all you can eat buffet. They have more than 20 types of food and plenty of deserts and ice cream. They recently switched to new management so the food are great with both chinese and korean and Japanese ones. They also do delivery

I called ahead to find out the cost of the buffet, i was told $8.95. I ended up paying $40 for 2 adults, 1 2yr old and 1 4 yr old. The food wasnt that great let alone the drinks were $2.00 per person. Way over priced for a mediocre buffet selection. Not impressed and will not return.

I have been in a few times since they opened. I have had great experiences every time. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is seasoned well and they have a large variety of sushi and entrees. This place just might be my new favorite Chinese Buffet
