It took nearly an hour to get our food once we were seated. The queso dip tastes like it is made with processed fake cheese. The salsa was spicy and my husband liked it, but it was too hot for me. I ordered a burrito with steak in it, but the menu failed to mention that it was also full of bell peppers and onions, so I spent about 20 minutes picking those out. My 2 year old had french fries and a plate of refried beans. I helped her finish the beans and they seemed good, but then today we both woke up with FOOD POISONING. So that has been not very fun to deal with. I am just now feeling well enough to sit upright and type this review, and its 11pm. My husband is currently out looking for some type of infants Immodium for our daughter, because I dont think shes going to make it though the night without yesterdays beans leaking through her diaper. And for all this, we paid $40. Please, please dont eat here. Please save yourself the expense, the nausea, and the diarrhea. Taco Bell would be better.

The food wasnt that great. It was basically the same food for every dish, but just with a different name. It was fried beans, fried rice, guacamole, and diced tomatoes with whatever you ordered. Also, there are way too many food options. And the wait time to get our food was horrendous. I had to wait about an hour just for a quesadilla-fajita, which is just a thin quesadilla and some shredded lettuce and tomato with sour cream on the side. I thought it would be bigger and more special, or something. It was just a regular quesadilla. The price for that was $8.99 and wasnt worth it. But since you wait so long for the food, youre so hungry youll eat anything. The alcoholic drinks were inconsistent. Some were strong, others were weak and watered down. The waiters were ok, but they did their jobs. The tvs were on, but the volume was down and no one could hear anything. The whole experience was just blah.

this is a horrible restaurant. I am new to this area and was looking forward to finding a good mexican restaurant. the decor is pleasant, the restaurant was clean but the food was horrid. small portions and no taste to the food. My husband ordered a mixed plate and the chili rellenos was not even close to what they are suppose to be, he grew up on Mexican food so he knows it well. The buffet was sparse with the makings for tacos only with a pan of enchiladas that were lame. I ordered a chimichanga and it was so small it should have been a burrito and it was not deep fried. I am so disappointed with this experience as I have tried many Mexican restaurants and this was the WORST in food quality. the staff was pleasant but I wanted a good meal and this place doesnt supply that .

Ive been eating here for years and bring a lot of business coworkers, family, and friends here. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants. Food is always hot and well proportioned with excellent customer service #Different day the customer service was very slow today and the food was not cooked right. I order the same thing every time . it took 13 minutes to even order my drink.they were not busy ...Which has never happened...My mouth was on fire from the dip...Lol... But after asking for a box that Im still waiting on..... I managed to to view some soft porn beside me from the drunk couple that put the silverware and sauce bowl in her purse... But Ill still be back...Everybody has bad days......

A good place to get quality authentic Mexican food. The wait staff have been nice to us every time we have visited, and the wait time for the food is okay (Not the fastest in Clarksville, thats for sure). The food is great, and the portions are large, which is great. I havent had the chance to try the buffet, but I have heard its not the best thing in the world. The reason for me taking away a star is because the restaurant is in desperate need of a deep clean. The restaurant has drapes in the section closest to Ft. Campbell Blvd that are just coated in dust, and the bathroom could use some restoration, too. All in all, its not a bad restaurant, but its an old one, and it shows.

Very disappointed with this Mexican restaurant, I order 3 shrimp tacos in flower tortillas, and it was three huge tortillas with only three small shrimp in each. What’s the point of having huge tortillas for only three small shrimp. Would never go again to that place, the only thing that was huge was the bill. I have to say Don Panchos in Oak Grove is the best place by far compare to this so call Mexican Restaurant. I gave it one Star because it wouldn’t let me give zero. I was there around 2:40pm today 5-2-16.

My husband and I have been going to El Toros just about every Friday night since we moved to Clarksville at the end of April this year. We have NEVER had a bad experience. The food has always been delicious and served hot. Friday nights, they have the buffet open and we enjoy that as well. They also have horchata! The service is always friendly and the restaurant is clean. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you love Mexican food like I do. :)

Two attempts and they still couldnt get my fiance an Is food correct. We ordered enchilada rancheros and a fajita mixed meats. The enchiladas are suppose to be shredded chicken topped on 2 cheese enchiladas, both times they done beef with chicken enchiladas, my fiances fajita didnt even come with a tortilla. It was literally just chicken and peppers. I will never go back.

Wonderful staff with delicious perfectly portioned food. The people that come here are annoying, but its never gotten so obnoxtious Ive had to move. Theres also a wall of Donald Trump graffiti in the bathroom that should probably be cleaned up at some point. Overall one of my familys favorite restaurants in town.

My husband and I only came here ONE time and were not impressed at all. The service was terrible and they took forever to help us and only came to the table twice to take our orders for drinks and food. The food was gross and wouldnt even fathom giving them another chance. Dont waste your time with this place.

Ive been here a few times. I must admit that the service isnt the best but Im a personal fan of their steaks. I dont usually order much else but I really do like the salsa/nachos they set out and the dishes Ive had tasted pretty good. Better than anything else youll get in this part of town. Prices are okay.

Excellent food, the servers are friendly and courteous, and the prices are reasonable. The decorations on the walls were dustier than I thought was appropriate the last time I went, but I still enjoyed the general atmosphere and of course the food. Still one of my favorite restaurants in Clarksville.
