I would love to stand outside the door of this place and divert people elsewhere... I ordered steak and shrimp hibachi, the steak was rubbery, if thats even possible, worst cut of steak known to man. The shrimp still had half of the tail attached, along with the veins that should have been removed... I ordered fried rice and received white rice. I know things happen on occasion but there were literally 3 customers there eating... Overall meal combining rice, veg, steak, and shrimp was slimey.. The soup sickening! I cant even describe what it tasted like. The best thing from there was the salad and even it had brown pieces of lettuce. All for the bargain price of $28.78, totally not worth it! Take my advice, drive somewhere else regardless of the traffic!

dont want to really down someones business, but this is a complete waste if you are interested in sushi. the sushi was able to watch television rather than prepare sushi. the servers sat at the bar or read the paper. after waiting for a while, my husband went over to find out what happened to our order. it was sitting on a table by her, dont know how it got there or why we didnt get it. this is especially sad as Genie had a packed restaurant with great food and service when it was Miyako. so sad that she sold and moved to a smaller american style chinese fast food.

Visit here often and always feel welcomed. Great selection of rolls. If sushi isnt your thing, there is plenty of other items to choose from on the menu. Wifes favorite rolls are the Super Crunch and Mimi Rolls. My favoriteson are Samurai and Sunny Rolls. Also like the fact they have plain fried rice available as a side. Lastly, I highly recommend the salad...the dressing is almost good enough to drink.

Ive eaten at most all the sushi places in town. (Like 20)Tenno is my fav!! It has sustained this title for 4 years now! Somehow their roles are moister and ingredients always taste so fresh!! Best role is Santa Fe!! Every time I have to eat at a different sushi place, as Im eating I always wish I was at Tenno. Good old fashioned mom and pop sushi joint, nothing too fancy; not pretentious.

Tenno has the best sushi in Nashville!!! The playboy roll is outstanding , all of their rolls thats Ive tried are! Their salads are amazing, the dressing is so good! Soup is always hot, very yummy. Their tempura is very tasty, too. I would definitely recommend ordering the stir fry noodles and some of their sushi! I promise its the best sushi in town

This is the worst Japanese restaurant Ive ever been to. They didnt have filet mignon. The steak was in a cheap, flavorless teriyaki sauce. The fried rice was just steamed rice with mixed vegetables and bland. They did not have yum-yum sauce, rather a slightly sweetened mayonnaise. Do not recommend.

Very limited buffet. No vegetarian options. My request for a vegetarian roll was denied multiple times as though its perfectly okay to have a sushi buffet without any options for vegetarians. Incredibly disappointed with food and service.

Ordered 2 hibachi chicken plates via UberEats. Portions of rubbery, low-quality chicken and rice were very small. For $15/plate, I expected much higher quality and larger portions.

Sushi is served buffet style at lunch. The quality is not the best and there was only one sushi chef so they were out of everything. I would rather order off the menu honestly.

All the staff are very nice and very friendly! Their house salads are MAGNIFICENT and only $1.50 apiece. I highly recommend the california rolls as they too are amazing.

The owner was rude and food was awful. they charge an extra 50¢ if u leave a bite on your plate. If there was a negative rate i would definitely rate it that.
