I HAVE NEVER IN MY WHOLE LIFE HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE AT A RESTAURANT. DO NOT EAT HERE EVER, SAVE YOURSELF A TRIP. MANAGER RUDE, WAITERS INCOMPETENT. I ORDERED A WATER AND ONE GLASS OF WINE AND WHEN STILL DIDNT HAVE IT AFTER 45 MINUTES ASKED TO SPEAK TO OWNER/MANAGER. I THEN EXPLAINED SITUATION AND SHE ROLLED HER EYES AND SAID MAYBE YOU GIRLS SHOULDNT DRINK (AND IM 31)!!!!!!! I WOULD HAVE HONESTLY BE ECSTATIC TO EVEN HAVE A GLASS OF WATER AT THAT POINT I WAS SO THIRSTY. UNREAL AND BEYOND INSULTED AT THIS PLACE. FURTHERMORE TOOK TWO HOURS TO GET FOOD AND NEVER GOT SAKE MY FRIEND ORDERED. MY FRIEND HAD TO PRINT OUR CHECKS FROM THE COMPUTER HERSELF BECAUSE THEY NEVER BROUGHT IT AND WE ASKED FOUR PEOPLE INCLUDING MANAGER. RUDE RUDE RUDE AND HORRIBLE PEOPLE RUN THIS PLACE.

My wife, who is 37 weeks pregnant, and I just waited nearly two hours at the hibachi table from the time we sat down to when we finally got the check. The only concession we received from the management was a half hearted apology and a promise have an American waiter next time. For the record we never made a complaint about her ability to understand us or her nationality. However we did complain about waiting an hour for the chef to arrive at the grill, forgetting our sushi order, not refilling our drinks and just a general inattentiveness from the staff. Weve been regular customers for two years and are deeply saddened that we will be going to a new hibachi place. Hopefully, our next hibachi date night restaurant will have even more Japanese people working there!

The food served off the hibachi was excellent, not over seasoned/sauced. The sushi was alright, not the best but not bad. The service on the other hand was awful! We waited at the front of the restaurant to be seated for over 10 minutes, no one came up to seat us. Then we waited more than 20 before we saw our server, who only brought us water, didnt take our order for another 5 minutes, all while the 5 other people had to wait because of us. And there was an 18% gratuity added for our party of 3.

just recently dined here a few days ago and was met with unprofessional behavior. Im here to dine not hear a waiter loudly try to sing opera. Im extremely disgruntled with the owners for allowing such behavior as this is nothing more than a nuisance and arrogance perpetrated on us and were unable to enjoy our meal or get waited on in a professional manner. I will not be back here again as this type of behavior should not be allowed when you have paying customers treated as their 3rd rate citizens

I went to Ninki and sat in the Hibachi area. On top of a long wait, the restaurant did not assign a chef to our side of the table. I spent the entire dinner staring at the back of the chef and did not receive the Hibachi show I thought I was originally paying for. After talking with a waitress and manager, both continued to refuse granting me a discount even though I did not receive what I paid for. I was very displeased with the experience as well as the food served.

Food was Not disgusting, but also not great and certainly not worth the price. The worst part is we were sat before 7pm and did not receive food until after 8:30. It was insane. And the staff did not apologize, comp any drinks or do anything remotely making it worth our time. We were in a group of 4. It was not busy. It was a Wednesday night. We all work in the service industry. None of us will ever be back.

Enjoyed the half price sushi lunch, looks like they must do that often because of the signage and printed menus. Nice restaurant but the decor has some poor weird choices, ie safty pins to hold banners ups, etc. The chef said the large inkblot near the sushi bar means bamboo, but they were far from chatty. They preferred to chat with other staff in what I can only guess is japanese.

Got treated like garbage. No one could understand what was ordered and they brought us the wrong sushi. When the waitress came back offered to correct it which was nice. Then proceeded to charge us for both of them. When I asked she told me that was their policy. So if your looking to eat subpar, overpriced food with awful service. This is your place.

It is true that their service in the Newburgh location was bad when they first opened, but it has grown tremendously since then. I work in Newburgh and come here for lunch almost every day, and dinner every weekend. I have never once had food that wasnt exceptional. Now that their service is better, it is a well rounded great experience.

Best hybachi, sushi, salad, soup, atmosphere, and all around experience. Sometimes its busy and they seem a little understaffed, but hey, it happens everywhere. Ninki has my #1 vote and its at great prices! Went to Kobe last night and was really disappointed, should have gone to ninki!

Ninki is the best! We go there at least once a week for hibachi or sushi. Miss Jane is our favorite server; she is exceptionally sweet and overly accommodating. She makes us look forward to our visits to Ninki. Thanks for great food and a fun family-like atmosphere.

The service was mediocre and the atmosphere sports bar-esque. The real let down here was the food. Chicken teriyaki was over salted, peppered, and overcooked. Flavorless soup and disappointing salad. Pei Wei blows this food out of the water.... Think about that

Went in today at 12pm, got seated and then nothing at all. No one checked on us, we waved down one person to get our server, nothing, then we went out front to tell host, still nothing. We waited 15min. No drinks and or service. We walked out.

Very good Japanese restaurant. The hibachi experience is great, the food is delicious and unlike many other Japanese places they have a good selection of wine. The sushi is also excellent, and surprisingly well priced.

Im a big fan of Ninki for the "Half Price Everyday Sushi". If im craving sushi Ill sneak in and sit at the sushi bar. Miso Soup, ginger salad and a few sushi rolls. There is never a wait.

We go after work sometimes. Always fast friendly service. Got turned on to cold Sake here, the milky stuff, and it is great on hot nights.
