I called in a Togo order and the guy who answered wasnt nice at all. I asked if I could place a order Togo and he huffed his breath and said "yeah I guess so." I was like damn.... Do I wanna get food from here? What if they do something to it. I was on my way to pick up my food and the guy calls me back and asked me if I was coming to pick up my order. I said yeah Im on my way there now. He said well just to let you know we are closing soon. Okay well Im sorry I didnt know that. I get there and the lady was nice and had my food ready. I didnt know they closed at 10:30. My b. My food tasted fine. I just wish they would have gave this white girl some yum yum sauce. Also I bet this place is really good when you dont order it at closing time. Just a tip for the guy who I talked to on the phone. Dont be rude to your customers. I dont always like my customers who come sit in my section but Im never rude to them unless they are rude to me. All I wanted was some fried rice and yum yum sauce! I will go back and check it out when " normal " people eat dinner. And honestly I feel bad that I order so late but Google didnt tell me what time you guys closed. Again my b!

Who complains about their tip. Visiting town and wanted to try something different. The food took awhile to arrive at our table (20min, maybe 30min ) lost track of time. Food was great (cant complain about the sushi) Another server picked up our plates and said we left too much soy sauce in the little dish they give you (Really!) its soy sauce. Then she said we needed to leave a higher tip for our waiter. Since when is 10% not enough for bad service. We where asked not to complain and to not come back. Its unfortunate to be treated this way on our first trip to Nashville. :( Diners Beware

Hanabi used to be GREAT. BUT NOT NOW. We had this restaurant on the top of the list but after 4 last visits we are Never going back. Service sucks. Wait staff unfriendly after 3 years of going they still dont know us. Food was slow but worst of all the spicy tuna roll had no tuna visible. A bloodhound might have sniff the meat or perhaps if I had a microscope I could have seen it. The pot stickers are better at Costco. If this were just one occassion I would give them a pass but DO NOT go here. They are living on their old reviews

After visiting Japan I was craving authentic ramen and fresh sushi so I asked my Japanese co-workers to recommend a Japanese restaurant and they said Hanabi was their favorite. My wife and I prefer the food there so much that we drive from Spring Hill at least once a week instead of going to local Japanese restaurants. It is very much worth the extra drive! And the staff are always very friendly and make sure we are having a great time.

I picked it out of the blue for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. I had miso soup, rice, house salad, SALMON, and a drink for under $10! The portion size was quite large for such a cheap meal. My waitress was nice and quite prompt...and cute as well :) I will certainly be going back there. Worth it!

I have been their many time at first everything is great.until the new waitress come along she was not friendly she take your order and for get about it.thank to the sushi chef to help remind the order other wise i would be waiting along time for my food.but everything is good be side bad service.

the freshest sushi in town! and its reasonably priced unlike the other overly trendy, over priced sushi spots around. my husband and i have gone here for years and refuse to go anywhere else. they truly are the best all around. plus the owner is amazingly dedicated and is always there!

Service was fast and super friendly! Everyone greeted me when I walked in and wished me a good day when I left. The sushi was DELICIOUS! I got the Titans roll and the Sushi Burrito, and neither disappointed. Great combination of flavor, texture, and spice. Will definitely be back!

Hanabi is literally the best sushi weve ever had! The staff is absolutely incredible. Bruce and Jackie, the sushi chefs, always take such good care of us, and make the best rolls! We leave there with full stomachs and huge smiles! You wont be disappointed!

This place is absolutely AMAZING!! They have one of all time favorite rolls: The Wake Up Roll. You have to try it. The rolls here are so creative and the menu is extremely diverse. This is by far one of the best sushi spots in Nashville.

I ordered their Shoyu Ramen and Chicken Karaage. Overall very decent, definitely not authentic Japanese but still alright. Their ramen was mediocre, had some taste to it but a bit too bland while the karaage was just burnt and chewy....

I go here all the time when I work in Nashville. Ive been to all the sushi places in the area, and this is by far my favorite. Added benefit of being one of the most affordable too! Try the Rainbow roll.

Shumai was of poor quality. Thats are the pre-made frozen shumai that you can purchase at any Asian grocery store for $3 for a package of 18 to 24 they chargeed $6.50 for 6 pieces. Very disappointed.

Spicy tuna toll made from frozen tuna scrape, not sashimi grade tuna and was not spicy. Chicken was overcooked and dry. Vegetables were burnt. Service, atmosphere and presentation were fine.
