have visited this restaurant time and time again in hopes of better service however have not received it. The last time I visited (last night) will be the last time I go to this Olive Garden. It is such a shame because it has always been a favorite for my girls and I to go out to eat. The service stinks! We had a waitress named Tiffany, who was extremely rude to us. We didnt get our drinks until after our meal and when we asked about them she acted as if she had been waiting on the bartender when we saw our drinks waiting at the end for her to pick up for a long time. We had a soup and salad with our meal and the salad was brown and wilted. We picked around it the first time, but the second time we got a bowl of salad it was even worse. She never apologized for the salad and the third bowl she brought ( two of my friends got soup and salad for their meal ) was even worse! She proceeded to put us off on another waitress. When a friend of mine asked for a bigger plate to put her salad on she rudely brought a huge platter out that looked as if you could fit your thanksgiving turkey on it. After reminding her so kindly about our drinks she STILL never brought them to us. I know how it is being a server, I have been one before so I took it that she wasnt having a good night, and continued showing grace. When it was time to cash out she appeared and announced my total out loud to the whole table and said I can take your card here, she took my card in front of everyone, swiped it on the kiosk and asked how much I wanted to tip (rude!) I asked if I could hold the kiosk and complete the transaction she said well if you just tell me how much you want to tip I can do it for you. I proceeded to ask for the kiosk considering my signature was required anyways. She did this for the other parties at the table as well. A friend of mine gave her a big bill when her meal was about $10 and she asked if she needed change, when the friend said she would need her change she got an attitude and brought back less than she was supposed to. We never received the mints that are usually complimentary but never the less we will NOT be returning back to this location! Tiffany was extremely rude and unprofessional.

I really like Olive Garden, and this particular restaurant is a good representative of the franchise in general. The food is very good, Ive enjoyed every dish Ive ordered. The menu is pretty expansive, with a wide variety of Italian selections. The value is good, with prices similar to other restaurants in the same tier. Unlimited salad and bread sticks is always awesome. Decor is simple, and very calming. Low lighting (but not so dark that you cant see to eat), and art pieces here and there. My gripe about this particular Olive Garden is the service. That isnt to say that the entire wait staff is bad: most of the hosts/hostesses are very nice, and a few of the waiters are some of the best Ive had at any restaurant. However, there are several servers here who are absolutely terrible. Be aware that if you have a single bad experience, it may just be that you got one of the bad servers. For a safe bet, sit at the bar. It isnt quite as cozy or romantic, but the bartenders are great at taking care of you, in addition to making drinks. Overall, this Olive Garden is pretty good. Perhaps not the best Ive been to, but not bad. As long as you can avoid the bad servers, you should have a great experience here. Recommendation: Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo

I love Olive Garden, always have. No matter where I live I try to find one close by. Well, the one in Spartanburg would make you not want to go to Olive Garden. I dont know whats happened here since around August 2014 but its continued to go down hill, Ive tried several times to "give it a chance", but to no avail. Each time the food is getting worse, I mean burnt and/or over seasoned. Bread sticks so hard you could build a retaining wall. Service? What happened to that? It left the building Elvis. Friendly smiles when you come in initially, then its all frowns and what do you want? kinda attitude. Onions? God I hate them, but do they leave them off the salad when requested? Thats a big fat NO! and when requested a second time to do so, its like youre asking them to conduct some kind of major feat. Luckily I have found another location in Gaffney an so far so good. Come on Spartanburg location, youve got to be better than this.

Called and specifically said I needed to order my part of the order from the gluten sensitive menu and ordered the Tuscan steak with the mashed potatoes and broccoli she was trying to ask me did I want soup after I already said I cannot have gluten. My husband picked up our order and when he got back home I have the breaded crusted zucchini which wasnt part of there gluten free menu items and the crust is all over the rest of my food. I have a serious allergy to gluten called celiac disease and have to be very cautious as Im 18 weeks pregnant. So now my husband feels bad for eating his supper and now I have to trash my $20 plate of food because of cross contamination because some female doing orders doesnt know her menu! Dont go here if you are gluten sensitive like the last poster said they are not aware of what that even means!

I have been to this location a few times through the years and I am never really impressed with either the food or service, The competitors in the area do a much better job of both service and food quality. This recent visit the service was just horrible and the food arrived warm at best. My plate was barely warm let alone the food. Our server was not very friendly, helpful or courteous. A large group came in after we got our food and she informs us we need to make decisions about drinks and dessert now because the large group would take a lot of her attention. We had just received our meal. Food always seems to be put together from frozen components and hastily slopped together. Save yourself, just find a nice non-chain restaurant to get your Italian fix!

Stopped at this place with my family very large group 10 people it was outstanding service we had Heather as waitress and Hayden as a waiter the 2 works fabulously together.. Everything was absolutely perfect my Uncle even had a birthday and they brought out a birthday surprise this was an outstanding place and service was outstanding by itself..? Its absolutely gorgeous inside and gives you a rustic feel and very warm welcoming The manager Angel even came and greeted us at the table to make sure everything was perfect... I couldnt have asked for a better place to go :-) I feel like they are above 5 stars

Wonderful service! Our waiter was Jalen! He was great! He was running around and helping everyone! There was a crazy lady that was at the table next to us that just kept complaining about EVERYTHING... and even had the manager come over...but our waiter remaind calm and collected. He was great. I manage a business and if hire him. Just saying. Working with the public isnt the easiest. Even when You do your best ... Someone Will always find something to complain about .
