Service was excellent but the food missed the mark by a lot I had the Swordfish parmashan which I couldnt even taste the Swordfish and the red sauce was all bland everything was bland and my plate was $42.00. You got me once but your not gonna get me again. I gave it 2 stars on service alone food sucked and wayyyyyy over priced I fell into the trap of its priced high and it will be good. I was wrong.

Service was good. Beautiful, peaceful restaurant interior. I ordered lasangna - awful, all layers of pasta with small amount of cheese and even smaller amount of meat in between. Covered with cheesy sauce. Wife ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce - boring at best. Her homemade spaghetti with ragu is better. All this for $45.00.

At Renato it is fine Italian dining at its best no matter what you order you will be pleased. We celebrated a Birthday with 29 guests and every one enjoyed a festive dinner. The food was absolutely delicious from the variety of Appetizer through the dessert. The waiter did also a superb job, very friendly and effectual.

The food and service was amazing. Saving this on my map to bring guest in the future! The Owner is the nicest guy. He gave us a custom recommendation and it was incredible. Any negative reviews from this place are for people wanting to steer people to either a friends place or their own.

Great food, atmosphere and service but a little pricey for the amount of food we got. I ordered scallops entree which was delicious but only 4 scallops on plate with some risotto and few small broccoli pieces. Cost was 34$! If just a little more food per plate , Renatos would be perfect!

Ive eaten there a couple of times now. The second time I found it improved. I was part of a large group so I always have to acknowledge its hard to be hot and fresh for many. The environment is nice and clean. The staff quite friendly and a good location downtown. Worth a try.

Great fresh authentic Italian food served by friendly staff. The menu is huge. Limiting the menu to a few standards and adding a few nightly specials might allow slightly lower pricing. A little pricey to be a regular hang out for dinner, but definitely Spartanburgs best!

Very over price for the portions. I am from N.J. and dont paid anywhere near the prices they charge in many popular Italian resturants. I would recommend Della Ventura in Greer, S.C. for good Italian food for a very reasonable price.

I was wary of coming here due to mixed reviews, but the food was honestly delicious. My only complaint was that it was rather expensive. They either need to give you a little more food for the price or lower the prices a little bit.

I left hungry, Had to go eat after I left. Very small piece of tasteless fish, 12 pieces of vegetables. Tasteless bread and I had water. $45 plus tip of which waiter didnt deserve, he was rude and in a hurry. Wasnt that crowed.

Terrible food. Waitress nice but the food was not worth the price. I do not mind paying but you need to feel like you have eaten by the time you leave instead of noodles and sauce with very little real substance.

Lissette was terrific serving at the bar and Joyce was a pleasure to meet as hosting. Food was outstanding and the wine was terrific after asking for suggestion at a very reasonable price. No kidding. It was amazing.
