Amazing, fresh mod-mex restaurant with something for everyone. I ate here with seven of my extended family members, several of whom are very picky eaters. We were all extremely impressed with our meal. It appeared as though the restaurant had reserved tables for several large parties, but we were graciously accommodated and seated as soon as we arrived just before 6 p.m. this evening (7/16/15). Our service was spectacular; our server was extremely friendly and knowledgable, and our food left the kitchen in no time at all. Portions are right in line with the price point; everyone left full and satisfied with a smile on their face. As for the food itself......We ordered a pitcher of the classic margaritas; simple, fresh, and extremely delicious. One pitcher served six of us, with a little left over. Our salsa sample appetizer left everyone anxiously anticipating their meals; it comes with a variety of 5 fresh salsas, from very mild to very hot. I particularly enjoyed the extremely spicy smoked habanero salsa; it was different than any salsa Ive experienced, and it complemented the others very well. I personally ordered the taco trio sampler, which includes your choice of three tacos and one side. I had one chorizo, one pork belly pastor, and one "taco of the day," which was a variety of their grilled chicken taco today, all on corn tortillas. All three of my tacos were fantastic, but my favorite was the pork belly (grilled pork belly, habanero pineapple salsa, cilantro, onion, cotija cheese). My side was the Bentons beans (refried style); they were fresh and delicious. (I had a few bites of my wifes Mexican cheese rice, and it was also delectable!) I strongly suggest you give Holy Tequila a try; it has ruined me for all other tacos.

Bartender was rude. I went in to pick up a to go order and she didnt acknowledge me for a while. Then told me 1 min. No "hi how are you? Be with you in a moment." So I waited. After about 5 more min when she was back over my way I said Im here to pick up a togo order and she yelled at me saying how these other people were there 1st. I said thats ok I just wanted to let you know. Another 5 or so minutes go by and she walks over to me and just stands there and stares at me without saying anything. Like shes looking at me like "ok wtf do you want" Im standing there confused waiting on her to say something and she just stares. So I say I have a togo under Tracy. She says they havent brought me any togos. Ok no let me check that for you or anything. Just walks away. So I walked out. Rude and ridiculous

Wantd something different our last night on the island. With two very tired toddlers in hand we thought we would try this little hidden gem. The staff was super accommodating us wih the tired cranky little ones, even through this isnt really what iI would call a family restaurant. The food was amazing everything a basic plain jane to these amazing ahi tuna tacos which were th best tacos I have ever had. Dont skip salsa sampler jut watch out for the dark stuff, they arent messing around when they say it is it. Wife had the steak fajita burrito and now doesnt want to eat mexican locally anymore cause she knows it wont compare. I know most dont go looking for mexican food when they go to Hilton Head, but you gotta trythis place.

We stopped in here Memorial Day after we realized the original place we wanted to go was closed. Thank God it was because this place was fanfreakintastic!! Yea you dont get chips and salsa free but you wont need it with the entrees you order! I ordered the taco trio (ahi tuna, coconut shrimp and thai chicken ) they were phenomenal. The tuna and coconut shrimp one were by far the estimate tacos Ive ever had!!! My BF had the surf and turn enchiladas and his plate was pretty much licked clean by the time we left! 5 stars!

WoW! I was really impressed with this place. Very simple very tasty, they took Tacos to a whole new level. QUESO was great! Salsa bar appetizers Delicious! Family had a great time. Would have rated a 5 but they ran out of taco of the day, but as good as the others were I can see why. Price was reasonable for a family of 7 avg cost was $15 per person. That was appetizers, main dish an soft drinks.

This is a fun and well decorated restaurant that had beautiful live music the night we visited. Service was very good. My husband enjoyed the bahn mi burrito bowl. I ordered chicken fajitas. I found the chicken to have more of a duck texture, reminiscent of using a sous vide, with great flavor. Corn tortillas were tasty! The Mexican cheese rice was also good. We really enjoyed the mai tai as well.

Walking in the door we were greeted by friendly staff. It was busy, so we had a slight wait. But it was perfect. Had some amazing drinso and some chips and salsa. We were sat sooner then quoted. Sitting at the bar I had time to figure out what I was going to eat. One of the new menu Items. I was blown away! The flavors just vibe so well. Cant wait to go back!

Great Mexican food. Some of the best Ive had in a long time. I gave it a 3 stars because the service was terrible. Waited a very long time and our orders were messed up but they were fixed and tasted great. They need someone that really knows how to run staff duties so the place can run more efficiently.

Good food and reasonable prices. Wouldnt recommend bringing younger kids. Had problems with trying to get our group of people in. We tried calling for reservations, but they wouldnt answer the phones and gave us a hard time when we showed up, but they managed to seat us. We loved the taco selections.

Very good experience. Seated and waited on quickly. Pamela, our wait staff, answered all menu questions beautifully. We thoroughly enjoyed our ahi tuna taco, the beef burrito, and the pineapple habanero salsa. Margaritas...we had 2 varieties: the Cadillac was far the superior. We will eat here again.

This restaurant was really well decorated and looked really nice! Personally I feel that its over priced. The food was okay, nothing great.. canned salsa and frozen guacamole.. they do have lots of different and interesting tacos to try. If you end up here, dont miss the chirizo mac and cheese!

We came here for dinner and we were a little apprehensive at first but gave it a shot. This place has the best Mexican food and drinks my husband and I have ever had and we travel a lot! The wait staff was awesome as well. We had such a great experience at Holy Tequila and will be back for more.

Service was great, food was fresh and filling. We didnt wait long but we went for an earlier dinner mid week. Lots of drink and cocktail options available. Many different varieties of quesadillas and tacos. The guacamole was good, not impressive. Would definitely go again.

This place is usually packed at night so we came back during the middle of the day and the service was good and the interior. It is mostly focused on tacos which I think would be excellent in flour tortillas but they use soft corn tortillas which ruins the flavor for me.
