HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I refuse to eat at a place with waiters that are rude, racist, and nasty. My family is African American and while visiting here, we actually saw the waiter walked pass us, asked a white couple if they were taken care of and took their orders us despite the fact that we were seated at least 10 minutes before them and not a single person came to get our order. Well, as the waiter rushed pass our table, we stopped him very nicely to let him know that we hadnt order yet. Instead of apologizing, he rudely asked WHAT DO YOU WANT? I have never been treated so poorly ever before. We left very quickly as our family will Never be treated so poorly from a place that we spend our hard earned money on. The waiter didnt care and it was very clear that BLACKS ARENT WELCOMED at Don Jose.

I always enjoy coming here because of how they fix the nachos texanos which Is the best nacho n cheese Ive had at any Mexican place. The chips are spread with white delicious queso cheese onions peppers steak chicken and shrimp...yummy. I have been craving these nachos for awhile now but try not 2 spend as much money on my lunch breaks but I just had 2 sacrifice & treat myself. This great lunch just help make my day

Do Not waste your time or money on this place. I went during my lunch hour and spent the entire time waiting for a taco salad and a quesadilla. Service was terrible. No refills on drinks or updates from the waiters. Food was not worth the money. I will never eat here again!!!

Heard people rave about this place and got to try it. It was ok, but nothing spectacular. Compared to some of the other Mexican places in Florence, it would rank kind of low on the list. Food was decent, but nothing special. Atmosphere was a little corny.

Best Mexican food on the east coast. Ive lived all over the southeast. Cannot find another restaurant as good as this. Try the Pollo Boracho.
