Ordered chicken flautas for my five year-old son. He loves them, eats them all the time. We have an entire conversation to establish that I want the lettuce left off the plate, but he likes sour cream. They arrive, and as he bites into one, he says "ewww, yuck, theres cucumbers in here." There were no cucumbers, but there were green peppers, onions and tomatoes throughout, and I had to destroy them to pick them out. The waitress observes this, and when I comment that the menu did not describe the flautas as having peppers, onions and tomatoes in them, she explains that its pre-mixed in the chicken, which they use in a lot of dishes, so they cant pick it out. Okay, but had I known, I wouldve ordered something else for him, e.g., a chicken quesadilla. She takes them away, and thats it. I get charged full (adult) price for them, and no offer to bring him something else. Totally ruined dinner.

In the area to dive at Phoenix Lake. Felt like having Mexican. Did a quick search and came across Los Cocos. Read the reviews and decided to take a chance. So glad we did... It was fabulous. I had the double Chimichangas, one shrimp & one chicken... They were outstanding. My son had the steak fajitas. He said they were the best hes had in quite a while. The food also came out very quickly from the kitchen. I wish there was a way to give this place 4 1/2 stars... Not a five only due to this place not being one of those top of the line restaurants. The food however is definitely a big hit. Id go back in a heartbeat! And you will not be disappointed..

It was amazing! So this was a random stop off the highway on the way home because I wanted Mexican and I saw that it had received great ratings. Our food was fantastic! Im at chips and salsa snob and the salsa was amazing! I also ordered a jumbo Texas margarita and I promise you only need one. I wish this place was closer to home!

Friendly staff and decent prices. The chips were not warm and the salsa wasnt fresh. The food tasted bland and very processed. The spices werent authentic and food seemed store bought instead of made in house. The decor and furniture also needs some TLC.

Not your typical Mexican restaurant experience: took over 20 min to get our food (simple tacos and a burrito...), portions were on the smaller side, and the flavor was lacking in the tacos, guacamole and rice. Dont think I will come back to dine again.

Stopped here randomly to pull off the highway and grab lunch. What a pleasant surprise. Great food, family-owned, warm & welcoming staff. Fajitas Azteca were amazing. Doesnt feel like an off-the-highway kind of place at all.

Home-cooked, tasty Mexican food convenient to the Interstate 85. Friendly service! Their charro beans were great and their tamale was very tasty. Ill be stopping there again although I live 2-hours south.

The salsa for the chips was great! I got a #19 on the lunch menu (2 chicken enchiladas, 1 burrito, red sauce and cheese) and was very happy. Im more of an enchilada person, but the burrito was AMAZING!!!
