Went to this restaurant last night. There were 4 other families inside. No one waited on us! They brought the chips and salsa and no one came back. Three waiters/waitresses were sitting at a booth in the back playing on their phones. One waiter was at the cash register playing on his phone and one waitress was sitting inside the door playing on her phone. When we left, my husband told the female what happened and she said, "Im sorry." and let us walk out the door. She didnt even try to stop us or offer to take our order. She just let us walk! Sad, very very sad! This place use to be great but apparently has gone down hill quickly.

second time my wife and I ate there ordered carnitos and avocado salad, wife ordered chicken tamale. pork was hard and over cooked and dryer then my grandmas baked chicken. avocado was over ripe to the point of almost being black. wife said chicken was gross to greasy. lettuce was warm and tasted horrable i spit the first bit out and never touched it again. first time we ate there we both got throw up sick before we made it home. 25 bucks wasted. do your self a favor and eat at Arbys before stopping here.

Unfortunately the service ruined the whole experience because the food was delicious!! The waiter brought my husband his food and when he took a bite the waiter yanked the plate off the table and put it on another table. Then when I asked for the tortillas that were supposed to come with my meal he rolled his eyes. I was really disappointed because we decided to spend one of our honeymoon meals here. I would go back despite the awful service because the food was so great.

What a great place for good food. I rarely will write a review on any place but since I was so impressed I have to tell you that this is a great place for mexican foot at a good price. The helpings were so large. Plenty of food. Fresh and very very good. Being from Georgia the sweet tea was perfect. Service was great. Dont know if it had anything to do with it being Cinco de mayo, but I give this restaurant a full five stars. Ample food, great service, and great price.

Had salsa verde fajitas that were really good - would definitely go back for those again! The service was superb, the waiter was always one step ahead with drink refills, chips and salsa, etc. Only complaint was that we ordered a guacamole salad that didnt come out with our meal. We ended up having way more than enough food and didnt need it after all, but still is something to keep in mind.

Absolutely horrible. Our family are huge Mexican food eaters, and this was the first one we ever walked out of. We sat there for 15 mins with no service. The chips were stale, the salsa is too hot, the restraunt was hot with no air, and the employees were rude and unprofessional. We will never eat there again and we will be sure to let others know about our experience.

Above average all the way!!! Fun atmosphere, friendly service, awesome food. I had cheesesteak burritos my partner had chimichangas both excellent!! Server engaged in friendly conversation and was happy to know it was our first visit and asked us to please come back and we definately will. I left a generous tip to express our appreciation. My new favorite place!!!

La Carreta was a pretty good experience. Growing up in Texas and living in San Antonio for a number of years, I have grown very fond of "Tex-Mex" type mexican food. This was exactly that. Sufficiently spicy (I like it much hotter), great margaritas, Dos XX lager beer and good chips. The salsa is ok. Not overly chunky or full of tomatoes. I will definitely return.

me and my family go at least once a week. the food is always good and we are served very quickly. for 2 adults and 1 child the ticket is $20-30 depending on if we get beer/cheese dip etc.. The waiters are very friendly and efficient. free tequila shots on friday nights -- you cant go wrong!

Worse food ever. I love Mexican but this was just bad, had bones in chicken nachos the cheese tasted bad. Waiter was friendly food was just not good. Other two people with me had dishes with ground beef and it was so greasy they didnt like there either.... :-(

Eat here once a week. I did not even like Mexican food before I started going here. They custom make my meal without any shells eliminating the simple carbs. A high step up from any other multiple restaurant group in the same catagory!!

Tuesday night is kids night. They have a balloon artist. Love going there with the family, but can also go with a crazier group on a Friday or Saturday to just get silly. The food is what youd expect, and the service is great.

My husband and I go here for a marg whenever we need to celebrate. The margs are like the size of my face...haha. The food is great. Its easy to bring kids (they have highchairs if needed). Fast service and casual. Love La Ca!

We drive past 2 other Mexican restaurants to go to La Carreta. Waitstaff is always good and portions are generous. Also theyve typically got soccer on and will even put EPL on the tv if you ask nicely.

Foods a good price, and always comes out fast. The staff are friendly and the beers are huge. I just can never tell whether they want to be a family restaurant or a more adult style bar.
