Worn decor, inattentive service, and mediocre food. We wont be back. We went to El Dorado at 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon. Our party of 3 brought the total number of guests in the restaurant to 9 (us, a 4-top and a 2-top). We were seated at a booth with badly cracked upholstery, so as first impressions went we were not blown away. We were asked for and served our drink orders promptly though, so that was something. At the time that our drinks were served we were not ready to order, so our waiter said he would give us a few more minutes. A few minutes stretched to many. During the wait we noticed that some of the wall trim near our booth was torn away, leaving about two inches of a nail point protruding dangerously. The waiter finally returned for our orders about 10 seconds before our fiancé, typically patient to a fault, was ready to walk out. Our food was served reasonably quickly after that, but it was certainly nothing worth the wait. My Guadalajera special was overly salty, and my fiancés fajita tortillas were hard. My fiancés son didnt have much to say about his burrito, but he also didnt eat much of it, which being a preteen boy is unusual for him. During the time we were eating, no one came to check that our meal was okay. We finished eating, and still no wait staff was in sight. We pulled out my cell phone and began looking up interesting facts online and discussing them to pass the time. Still no one came to see how our meal was progressing. I began craning my head around the restaurant, and finally spotted several employees chatting near the front door, with their backs to the patrons. I waited until someone turned around, and raised my hand to catch her attention. She made eye contact with me, hesitated, and then turned her back again! My fiancé finally got up to go request our ticket. After receiving the bill we deduced that it was to be paid at the front register, so we went up front to pay it. The employees that had been congregated in the area moments before had mysteriously disappeared, leaving us to wait yet again to complete our meal. Truly the only good thing I can say is that at least the bill was not a lot of money.

Fuimos a comer alas 12 del dia nos llegaron la primera soda alas 12:25 si no es por que meno se Tiro al Piso no uvieran llevado nunca la soda por eso el servicio que tienen no sirve para nada casi necesitas levantarte y ir a agarrar tu soda ala maquina por que Losmeseros llegan despues de 1 pinche hora por eso hoy 10/26/2015 siendo las 12:59 no les dejare ni un Peni de propina por que su servicio no sirve gracias por su a tension y no Bolvere

The service was pretty terrible. It took about 5 minutes for our server to show up. I ordered one thing and got something completely different although the server told me it was what ordered. She never checked to see how our food was, our drinks were never refilled, and we had to make eye contact and wave her over to get the check because she ignored us every time she walked by our table. The food was alright but not worth the price. I wouldnt recommend. Taco Bell tastes better than this and cost less.

Not too sure what the person below is talking about, but I just ate at El Dorados the other day and was VERY surprised at how great they were! I say surprised because I drove by this place for two years and avoided it because I judged it by its appearance... which is low end to say in the least. But put appearances aside and try it out- you will be pleasantly surpised! Again, not sure what Laura is talking about below- but the next time youre in the area give El Dorados a shot, its definitely worth it!

They have great margaritas especially for the price compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is very good and the salsa is great. Whoever said the salsa tasted like tomatoes out of a can needs to lay off the nicotine so their taste buds will come back to life. They have a great salsa. I like hot stuff and it has a bite but not too much for it to be warded off by the ones who enjoy bland. One of the tastiest salsa s Ive had at a Mexican restaurant. I recommend it to all.

By far the best Mexican joint for food. The buffet is better than the food my grandmother used to make and thats saying something. Forgive me grandmom. People shouldnt judge this place if they come here and order watered down Mexican food for non mexicans. This place should be judged by Latinos only. We know our food and this place is amazing.

Very hot in restaurant...no air! We were filtered through 3 different wait staff and none of them had personality or smiles. No one came back to our table after the meal was FINALLY delivered to check on us. But I will say the food was good but hard to eat in the heat! It felt cooler outside with the breeze in 101 degree weather!

• didnt bother telling us their buffet was lunch only. • salsa tasted like a drained can of tomatoes. • ceiling was leaking all over my husband. • when we were leaving they still charged us for the drinks even though we told them of our terrible experience. We will not return!

Nice atmosphere and probably the fastest service Ive seen in a long time, from sitting down to food on table was all of about 12 minutes. I will say everything had an unexpected spice to it which isnt a complaint, just any observation but overall I really liked the place.

Our favorite MEXICAN place anywhere. The manager always greets us with a smile, the service is great. The food authentic not Americanized. The waiters & waitresses are helpful. We most always go on Sunday after church the buffet is awesome.REAL mexican food.

$4.50 for something they call a "burrito", servers were terrible and couldnt answer questions. My bill was about $10, $11 max. I looked at my card statement days later and they charged me $19.16. Dont go here, they will steak from you

Good man, just plain good. Some of the servers speak little English, so you know the good has got to be good. I have eaten here many times and have not been disappointed once. Any meal and a big beer is a good choice.

Service was great, food was amazing, prices are reasonable. Yeah, its not shiney and new, but who cares? We will totally eat here again! Also, despite what the other reviewer a way down says, the salsa was great.

Enjoyed the food and beverages. Service was great, and the beverages and food were served quickly. Staff were very friendly and attentive to my requests for additional items (extra napkins, extra salsa, etc.)

Awesome food and good margaritas!!! They are moving to a new location soon. It deserves a better building. Wishing them well in their new location. If you want good Mexican food dont miss this place!!!!

El Dorado is delicious! But. . . they recently started selling 24 ounce beers as 32 ounce beers. If they want to sell smaller beers, that is fine, but dont price it and sell it as 32 ounce beer. . . .
