This is a great Mexican restaurant! I love the food quality, presentation, and portions for the price. I usually drink beer, so no comment on the mixed drinks. The beer is always very good and they are more than willing to provide a mug for a bottled drink if requested. They have a busy dinner period, so I usually try to dine in the bar area at one of the 3 high-top tables or I will sit at the bar itself. Parking can be a bit cramped when the place is really busy, but I have no other complaints. The staff all seem to genuinely care about my experience. I have eaten here as much as a couple times a week.

Nothing to write home about food or service-wise. Waiter brought the wrong food to our table twice. We asked for more salsa, never got it. No refills offered as we ate. This is also the same location that didnt hold the cheese sauce like I asked (lactose intolerant) and charged me $1.25 for extra lettuce the first time I ate there (which is why it took me a year to come back) After this visit Im done. Too many El Rodeos or other Mexican restaurants in the area for me to waste my time and money at this one.

Horrible! Got our drinks wrong 2 friends ordered 2 sandwiches and asked for no beans that they wanted it plain, they got their food and it had beans they sent it back and they got their food back and it still had beans! Plates were scalding hot and the server didnt me before I grabbed the plate! The food wasnt even that great and the service was awful! The only thing I have good to say is that the manager was nice. Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere for Mexican food.

They were pushy of the lunch bar. The waitress was very rude. Our food never came after waiting 50 minutes to feed 3 adults and 1 kid! On top of that my toddler found a piece of a 2 inch screw with no head in the floor. I used to love this place but I will for sure never go back or recommend it to anyone! If I could give zero stars I would!

Ordered a chicken fajita taco salad with extra sour cream was not impressed. Had no sour cream at all. No refried beans in the bottom of the taco bowl and its half the size as it should be. I get this all the time and Ive never been more disappointed. Never ordering from here again.

Its old-school Mexican food with all of the staples. The salsa is pretty plain, and the food pretty heavy on cheese. Certainly not anything to write home about, but if you are craving a classic dish youll probably find it here. Service was slow, despite few patrons.

Good Mexican food at a fair price. The oldest El Rodeo in Roanoke. Still as good today as it was 35 years ago. This is where the locals go for Mexican food. Super friendly staff.
