Rude staff. Crap Pizza. And what a dump. First. How can you tell me you sell pizza by the slice and not be able to make two slices mushroom? Take a cheese pizza, put some mushrooms on it, and stick it in the oven. Oh... Because it was frozen. Second. The guy sitting next to me ordered lasagna. Not on the menu he finds out when they hand him a lasagna slice of pizza. He explained to them he asked for lasagna and did not want the slice. All five useless bodies behind the counter turned around speaking in a foreign language, laughing and clearly making fun of this guy. Did not offer a refund or anything. His girlfriend said her pizza sucked. Third. As we are all discussing the failures everywhere in the dining area, someone comes in the front door carrying a pizza box and a receipt. We really figured it out at this point. He wasnt picking up a fresh pizza with used box. He ordered the exact opposite of what they delivered and came back to shove it you know where. Again, no apologies, just began to brick oven a new one and make him wait for it. As I was leaving a couple was trying to order. I had to say something. They followed me out.

Visiting friends in Newport. They offered some local places to visit that were walking distance, but warned us of Via Via as the day before they ordered delivery that went terrible. First delivery for them was completely the wrong food. They tried to correct and deliver again, but again it was completely wrong. Their third attempt was still wrong and our friends just gave up. Warned us to go there, but eventually we though to give them a chance by walking inside for take out. Our order was correct but the food disappointing. I shared the photo of the five micro sized jalapeño poppers we paid $7 for. Ridiculous. The shrimp and basil pizza was good but nothing spectacular. Frustrating given the bad experiences as there are so many good things on the menu we wanted to try, but we will not be visiting ahai and dont recommend it.

We were walking by this place and looking at the window menu when a guy walking by in a chef uniform said it was the best pizza in town. He said to order a fresh made pie and not slices because the made to order pizza was the best in Newport. He was right. Even the kids said it was the best pepperoni pizza they ever had. The wife and I opted for the shrimp and pesto at the chefs suggestion. OMG was my wifes first words after taking a bite. Please note that this is not a real full scale restaurant. The use paper plates and is extremely casual. Like a typical neighborhood pizzeria but with pizza like Spago.

If you like horrible pizza, terrible service and questionable eating conditions, this spot is for you! I asked the guy behind the counter to make a fresh pie since I didnt want the reheated garbage that was sitting out all day. He gives me what was clearly a reheated piece of cardboard, what they pass off as pizza. I called him out and he straight up lied to me. After eating our tasteless food, we leave to find one of the cooks puking on the sidewalk right outside the kitchen door. Dont visit this dump.

What I really like about Via Via is that it is really fast if you only want a couple of slices. Probably the fastest pizza shop I have been to! The pizza is good. Not gourmet pizza, but hey, this is pizza joint. I go there weekly and like the guys behind the counter. The room you sit in has a really high ceiling and the tables are not squeezed in too tight. If it is a busy weekend in the summer this place is packed and you wont get a table. All in all a good choice.

The pizza is good, however they are misleading on their website. They have the icons for Discover, Amex, Visa, and Mastercard on their website. This would lead you to believe that they accept all kinds of plastic. However, they do not. When I complained to the man behind the counter that I didnt want to spend $2.25 to take out cash and that their site says they take plastic, he said that the owner tells them to or not to accept plastic depending on the week.

Started order 20mins after order placed. Waited another 10. Asked the owner if what he was showing me was a small. No answer. With family. Hands me a personal mini pizza. Told him to update his website and include inches. NYC pizza lingo is different from Newport. $20 + 3 sodas. Another 2 slices $9. Pizza is too thin. GET YOUR PIZZA GAME UP!!! You get one star for mixing onions, jalapenos and meatballs which by the way was gyro meat.

Pizza is reasonably priced, always an easy in and out for a slice, and it is open late so you can satisfy that after drinking / bar hopping hunger. The tomato mozzarella basil pizza is great (has chunks of garlic on it). Definitely a quick and easy place to go to. I think for a while they also had smoothies next door, but I always just went for the pie.

I really enjoy my pizza from Via Via. The Buffalo Chicken chicken or BBQ chicken pizza are addicting and the shrimp and pesto pizza is always a hit at my house for friendly togethers. Even the basic pepperoni pizza has my friends raving. Its not greasy like most of the Greek places in town.

Im actually a big fan of Via Via. They are unique in serving up delicious deeper dish style pizza. Not Chicago style by any stretch, but probably the closest youll get to those mammoth pies. We enjoy the Vegetarian. Just something about the sauce that makes that pie sing.

Pizza wasnt bad, but wasnt really anything great for the price. Wasnt too expensive but for what we got really wasnt a fair price. Also, I had ordered buffalo wings and I was just given plain wings with no hot sauce or sauce whatsoever. Wouldnt really recommend this place.

This place was bad bad bad. I had the New England clam chowder and it tasted like it was from a can. The fries were garbage and tasted like grapes. IT WAS HORRIBLE. On top of that we waited for an hour and the service people were rude. If I could Id give this a 0 star

Absolute worst place I have been in years!! 5 people behind the counter, 35 minutes for a cheeseburger between stale af bread!! Had to leave just to put money in the parking meter. Never again!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

This is not the cleanest restaurant in Newport. The chicken parmesan and pizza were ok. The meat gyro was both huge and full of high quality vegetables and lamb. Ill definitely be back for the gyro but the pizza wasnt very impressive.

Lets start with the bathroom. I wouldnt let an animal use it never mind a person. Their "brick oven" pizza tasted like frozen dough. This place is a must miss and the food was terrible. If I could give it zero stars, I would!!!
