One star because I cant review it without using a star. I called in my food at 7:06 and was told wait time for delivery was 30-45 mins. This was a Friday evening so I was pleased it was that short a wait time. Great. 8 rolls around. No food. I waited until 8:15 and called to find out what was going on. The man who answered the phone seemed uninterested that my food hadnt been delivered yet and I had to ask him to call the driver and call me back. He was clearly annoyed. At 8:45 I called back still no food and was told the driver was in my area he would be there soon. I asked if I could just cancel the order my food would be cold by then and I just didnt want to wait any longer and it was 20$ plus for some gross mozzerella sticks, a water bottle and a piece of chocolate cake. At 9pm I get a phone call and could barely understand the guy finally figured out it was the delivery guy who Told me to hurry up because he was out in the rain. I went to the door and he immediately pushed the door open and came inside my home without even asking. Got rain everywhere when we have a overhang at the door where he wasnt even getting wet. He complained I didnt open it sooner to let him in. I asked him gently where he had been and he gave me an attitude. He also complained I didnt tip him for being so late, rude and barging into my home. I locked the door and went to the kitchen to open up my food. My order was wrong and it wasnt even tasty. I wont order from them again.

I really feel bad for the citizens of Newport who are looking for a good Pizza, I tried 2 last night, though the first one, on Thames Dough Crust, may have had good Pizza , but they had No dough, so I asked where I could go, they recommended Nickolas, probably because they knew their Pizza was not good. The thin crust had absolutely no flavor, pretty much like cardboard, though not burnt, but oddly enough the toppings were. Plus to boot they could not deliver for 45 mins, even though I was staying at a hotel 4-5 minutes away, so I went and picked it up. 5 people behind the counter, few customers and it cost over $40 for 2 Pizzas. Plus I waited a few minutes to get receipt, because they couldnt figure out that I prepaid over the phone when I ordered. Perhaps a bad night being the start of a New Year. Now I cant wait to come back to Newport this spring to Hunt for a good Pizza.

Rude service. Called in for a pickup order. When I gave my name, girl on the line told me she couldnt hear me in an obviously annoyed tone. I then asked for "a small cheese" without thinking too much about my choice of words. Girl asks "you want a small cheese?" in a tone as if to tell me Im an idiot and the phone goes silent as she waits for me to respond for many seconds until I finally say "a small cheese pizza?" She immediately says "thatll be 10 to 15 minutes" and gets off the phone. What was that about?! She obviously knew what I meant or if not, she could have asked! This happened on 1/24/2012 at 10:30pm. I was actually calling from my car in the restaurant parking lot so I saw who it was. Young with medium length blonde hair. Hope the owner reads this. Called back a minute later to cancel the order when I realized that she was intentionally being that way.

I ordered the party calzone special, chef salad and garlic bread. I received a tossed salad and party calzone with no garlic bread for $ 46.00dollars. I asked for free garlic bread on my next order and they said they had no record of it and cant honor it ahha well I know they forgot my garlic bread I paid for and in business the customer is always right. Horrible pizza and horrible business plan how they have been in business so long who knows it is a tourist trap. Locals do not eat here. I would no recommend this place to anyone after eating there and working there this place is horrible and the meat is of the lowest quality.

Hmm Nikolas pizza failed for sure. my daughter ordered wings and fries at 6:40 and still not here 8:40. I called and cancelled the order with no apology and then the person hangs up before im done talking. i will never again and im a newporter. if you cant get your items there is a reasonable time then tell the customer it might be a long time and would they mind the wait. hanging up on me is the worst thing you can do because i surely will pass it around to my friends and family and see how much business they get when the tourists are gone.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I had it delivered. I was pretty impressed with the transaction. I read the menu and then placed my order all through google Maps. The East-West Wings are really good. The side salad is a bit overwhelming with onion, peppers and etc with the exception of actual salad leaves. I ordered 2 - dozen wings and small side salad combo and the total was $32.00. A bit pricy, but not as pricy as it would have been from a different restaurant. I am satisfied and will dine here again.

I ordered a pizza for delivery while in town for a business meeting. The pizza was not delivered, and upon speaking to the owner, I was told it was our fault that the pizza wasnt delivered. No phone call, no knock on the door, no pizza, just a $30 charge to my card which included a generous tip that someone gave themselves. I will never order from here again, and from what i see on here, the pizza that i paid for and didnt get wouldnt have been that good had it been delivered. Look elsewhere.

I ordered a pizza and two beers...after tip the bill was $37. Is it just me or is that ridiculous? The pizza was good but I had the same sogginess mentioned in another comment. The older waitress that works there was not friendly at all and acted like we were ridiculous when we wanted to split our bill into our individual orders. The employees parked in the fire lane in front of the building which servely inhibited parking in their tiny lot. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Our family came for dinner on a Wednesday night and there was no wait. Our friendly waiter offered helpful suggestions when asked, and we decided on the Ultimate pizza while the kids had items from the kids menu: spaghetti with meatballs, penne, and a kids pizza. Everything tasted very fresh and was delicious. Serving sizes were generous while not being ridiculously large. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the pleasant wait staff. Definitely recommend this for a night out with the family.

Cute little Italian place with its own parking lot. Very convenient. The food was good, but nothing amazing from what we could see. We ordered the garlic bread (toasted hoagie roll), wings (extra crispy!), A gf pizza and a regular veggie pizza. My husband got the chicken breast sandwich, which he complained was super dry... But the service was great and the place was nice and clean which is what we needed after a day of sightseeing. Oh and total for everything was$86, excluding tip.
