This Panera Bread location has gone down hill recently, particularly when it comes to customer service. I decided to try the Rapid Online Order (which turned out to be anything BUT rapid!). According to the order invoice, my order would be ready for pick up in 10 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant roughly 12 minutes after I placed my order. I had to wait another 15 minutes as they had not even STARTED on my order prior to my arrival. In fact, I watched one of the girls cut the bagels that were used for my sandwiches only after she asked what I was waiting for, several minutes after I arrived. I could absolutely understand the delay if the place was busy, but there wasnt a soul waiting in line when I arrived and no one walked in until I had been there for 10 minutes, still waiting for my order. When I got the sandwiches home, one was intact but the other was literally in pieces and smeared all over the paper it was wrapped in! I highly doubt I will return to this Panera location. Im not sure if it is a management issue (the manager, by the way was wandering the counter doing next to nothing) or something else but this is the third time I have had a similar experience and I will not be bringing my business there any time soon!

Today was my first visit to a panera and between the service and product I have no desire to return. The young lady at the counter was rude and condescending. I asked about one of the frozen drinks, asking if it can be made with milk and informed her I had an allergy to heavy cream. She said it was made with half & half and to just choose something else. I then asked about their smoothies and she said"she guesses" its ok. I ordered just the smoothie and the 2 people with me ordered sandwiches. 25 minutes later we recieved our order. My smoothie cup was only 70%full and it was warm and thin like a broth. Definitly will not be returning to any panera bread.

Consistently do not prepare the sandwich as I asked. I live nearby and stop by either this panera or the one on bald hill road fairly often. This one in EG will always put mayo on your sandwich when you ask to specifically remove it. If you alter the sandwiches on the menu in the slightest bit to fit your preference, they will mess it up, every time. Additionally, the staff is unprofessional and seem far more concerned with their plans to go out that night then the service they give their customers. Overall, just go to the panera on bald hill road if youre in the mood for panera.

Close proximity to I-95. Ample parking and seating. Familiar Panera menu. The friendly staff in this location really know how to keep the lines moving while getting your order right. Restrooms always clean. This makes a great rest stop when traveling.

I love this place! My favorite sandwich is the Bacon Turkey Bravo, the bread is a Sun Dried Tomato and is to die for. My only issue about the place is the price but its worth it for the quality of the food.
