I picked up a dinner of Gobi Manchurian and Mirchi Bhaji from here recently. It took a while for my food to be cooked. I watched as peppers and cauliflower were pulled out of the fridge and prepped from scratch - literally the cauliflower was cut from a new head. The food was sublime - tasted absolutely fresh and sharp. The fried peppers were crisp but not oily. Because the dish was made fresh, the fried cauliflower did not get soggy in the sauce. I asked for the dish to be made spicy and it was - but certainly not overbearingly so and complementing, not over powering the flavor. This is what I experienced with well spiced food in India, not just the up-front heat of most spicy indian food here. I highly recommend it.

Although they do not have all the fluff in decorations that your typical Indian food establishment has, the food FAR surpassed any Ive had to date and Ive tried them all over the USA! I reluctantly tried the take out only place the other night on the recommendation of a friend, and boy was I surprised! I went easy on the order as I did not know what to expect. I ordered Vegetable Byrani (American hot). It was homemade and came with fresh raita and a small mango Lassi. It was so good I went back today and picked up lunch on my day off! You can eat for under $10.00 too!!!! Sometimes the little hole in the walls are the best!!!! Absolutely outstanding!!!

We tried this place for the first time for lunch today, and let me tell you that the food is absolutely spectacular. I strongly agree with other reviewers whove said that this is some of the best food in the country (and trust me, Ive looked). This place has a lot going for it: the only place in New Hampshire weve found that serves dosa, great desserts, food cooked to order - all around awesome. Just make sure that you order enough ahead of time - remember that the food is cooked to order (so if you have a big order you need to give her time to prepare it all.)

You just cant get any better than Food and Fashion. While I have only tried their lunch specials, I have been blown away each and every time. For $8 (which includes tax!), you get enough food to satisfy two full meals. Everything here is done from scratch, and it definitely tastes that way. PS. If you call ahead and get the voicemail, dont be discouraged: The owner does all the cooking, order-taking, and ringing up herself, and shes sometimes too busy to pick up the phone. Leave your number and order, and she will call back to confirm.

I pre-ordered a tray of samosas from Food and Fashion of Indian for a party. When I arrived the owner was so nice and helpful and helped me pick out some sweet and salty pickles to go with the food. I liked that the brands werent the typical american Pataks brand of Indian groceries, but brands local Indians buy for their pantry. Everyone at the party loved the samosas. They were tasty and not oily like other places, and the samosas were half the price than other restaurants. I will absolutely order from here again!

This is the best Indian grocery and take out place I have seen in the USA!!!!!!! Greens/Parathas/Naan/Samosa/Hot meals/Frozen meals/Indian sweets/Everyday items for Indian cooking/Even fashionable Indian wear/ All at very reasonable prices. Dont go to the local shoddy restaurants, they warm up frozen food. Freshly made delicacies right here! Please note ALL Vegetarian meals provided. For allergen info please phone the store. Make big order requests in advance!

We ordered home made paranthas for our weekend trip and the paranthas were really amazing. It was cold outside and the hot paranthas made it the best thing possible in that env. Any time we go on a trip next, we will be getting food from here only.. :)

A great indian grocery with mind-blowingly good takeout. The flavors of all the dishes were very well balanced. The people there are super friendly too. I will be ordering from here again and again.

It is not a restaurant. Better to pick up stuff there. Also the food is not great. Better to go to other Indian restaurants near by if you want to enjoy your meal.
