Cathay Garden is definitely a staple of Main St.! Their buffet is fabulous... always a great selection and constantly replenished. Takeout has always been strong! Only had a mess up once... but they were quick to fix it! I wish the place was a bit more "hip"... its literally a typical American Chinese joint... and the family lives above it. The bar hardly exists... but then again, maybe thats not a bad thing. Always friendly staff, great service. The best word to describe Cathay Garden is consistent!

In my opinion one of the best Chinese buffet restaurants in R.I. When it comes to the food. My son and I go at lest once a month. I would give it a 4 out of 5 only because some times we have a awesome waitress and other times we dont. The food is always good and the welcomes always nice. I would definitely recommend it to everyone that likes Chinese food. The first time I ate there was over 18 years ago before my son was born, Im still going and their still there, Must mean something!

Not very impressive. The chicken tasted like it had been fried multiple times. All I could picture was a big bag of frozen battered chicken being tossed in whatever sauce you order. I guess you get what you pay for. Honestly have not found a good Chinese place in the area.

I have tried all the local Chinese places in East Greenwich, Warwick and West Warwick and this place is by far the best!!! This will be my only stop from this point forward. Dont waste your time going to other places, this one is the best around the area.

Went for the buffet on a Monday night. The food was good but within one plate the buffet was empty and they never refilled anything. The place was not that busy, they were just really understaffed. High prices when its not really "all you can eat"

Amazing service the moment that we walked in to the moment that we left. My Husband and I chose the buffet. It was fresh, clean and hot. If a menu item was missing it was made right away and we were informed that it was ready as well.
