My family and I enjoyed an excellent meal last night, which is saying a lot since we got there right before closing. The food was delicious and the wait staff were gracious. They brought out fresh batches of things we were eating and were attentive to our needs. However, when I was signing the check, a cockroach crawled up the wall next to our table! My brother-in-law was so disturbed, he rushed outside and got sick. The waiter came over, killed it, then dumped it in my sister-in-laws drink. Im not sure if she was done with it, but that sure sealed the deal. They apologized, but during the upset, another waitress had come by and taken the check away, to make sure we paid. They offered no reimbursement, just their quick apology. Despite the great food, we will not return. I did report this to the health department, but be warned.

Hello its your friendly neighborhood EMT here. I went to this buffet with a large group and overall the experience was great. The staff was acodomating with the group and very friendly. The wait staff did a great job and didnt have an issue splitting the bill at the end. Also, the place looked a lot classier and cleaner than the other buffets Ive been to. Anyway, the food was delicious and fresh, with your typical American Chinese cuisine. My favorite side, the Crab Rangoons were always crisp and golden brown. All of the dishes were constantly replenished so they available for seconds, or in my case thirds. Ive been to a Chinese buffet or two and this one is the best one that I have visited since moving to MA. Sure the food might be your typical Chinese Buffet food, but as a whole you cant go wrong with Great Buffet.

Worst food ever, went for dinner time the food was cold and dried out. After realizing the food was dried out I went to speak to the manager. She told me I would have to pay for the food we did not eat. I explained I had not eaten yet it was still on the table. I showed her the food and she said it was dried out because it was from lunch time. After telling her this was a health issue she told me if I did not pay she would call the police. I paid for the food we didnt eat, myself and two children. I will be calling Manchester Health Dept. DO NOT EAT AT THIS restaurant. NOT EVEN WORTH ONE STAR

Food is OK weekday lunch but not so great weekday dinner. Its very good on the weekends and always fresh on the weekends. Restaurant is clean and accommodated a very large party (30+ people) with short notice of just under 24 hours. I highly recommend them for a quick lunch or for anytime on the weekend. Food is tasty and they often have things you dont see at other buffets like lobster, crab legs, crayfish, fresh mussels and steamers. Ive never been disappointed. There is always something tasty even on a not so great day and its very affordable for an all you can eat.

DONT. As a person who loves food, and places that offers it in infinite quanities, this is by far one of the worst places Ive been to in recent years. Ive been here before and it seems like theyve just collectively stopped caring about food sanitation and making sure the food does not sit and go bad before someone scoops it to their plate. I quickly left after paying and feeling bad that I had paid for dumpster food.

I have to change my review unfortunately. Last time when we were there with my husband, we waited 2 hours for them to put out fresh seafood. When they brought it out, they mixed in the old, nasty, brown, seafood. It was disgusting. I even told the guy, you shouldnt have done that. Someone will get sick eating their food. Also, everything was cold that was out. If you want to eat fresh food, dont go there...

I went here with my wife in July 2011. We were seated right away on a Friday at 6:30PM. Service was quick. They have a good selection of food here such as salad, fruit, soups, several "american" foods and several typical chinese dishes. They had a sushi bar that looked pretty good even though I dont care for sushi. They also had several desserts. The food tasted good overall. No complaints.

Went in at 9pm grateful something besides McDs was open- I was expecting cold, re-fried food and certainly got it. It was still better than fast food. Had the coupon from Spectrum Monthly so it was only $11.00 (basically 1.50 off) including tip but I m still not sure I would try it again. If I did it would be during the day when everything hasnt been sitting around for hours...

I like this place. Ive been several times. We usually go at lunch time shortly after they open. Once we went and the food was cold - one of the staff forgot to turn on the steam tables and the manager seemed quite pissed off. We went at dinner time and the food was actually gross. It was kind of cold and dried out. So, never again for dinner, but again for lunch.

If I could give it no stars I would. The food is OK. But when I went into the bathroom the overwhelming smell of filth of urine smacked me in the face. I had to hold back the urge to vomit. And I feared for the safety of every one here. Do not go at all costs. I thought to myself if the bathroom is like this I can only imagine what the kitchen is like!

I give this a bad rating overall. The place smells like fish as soon as you walk in the door. The food offered is not fresh tasting at all. I was honestly very sceptible about the seafood, seafood shouldnt smell so bad. The rice was dry the crab ragoons were too crunchy and I could taste the oil, not good. It was a bad experience for me but to each their own.

Food was cold never got refills and after waiting almost 20 minutes we finally got up and paid at the front counter because they never stopped back to bring our bill. And in the bathroom their was an electric heater with a tag warning about being plugged in near water. It was plugged in right next to the sink. Will not be going back.

Great place to go if you like getting diarrhea. The Kitchen doors are right near the dinning area.. take a peek in through the glass & youll see why your stomach is turning inside out. The place is FILTHY ! Maybe next time they decide to change something theyll think more about SOAP & WATER & less about beautifying the exterior

This place was great when it first opened years ago. We stopped going here when every time we went, it was a hit or miss on quality, food temp, and selection ...(and it was consistently miss at the end) Then we found the place at the other end of S Williow, Manchester Buffet, and we havent been back to this one since.

Stopped in for lunch, a little before noon, every thing looked fresh, had a plate and soup, tasted ok, got another plate, about 1/2 way through noticed something on the gen gau chicken, a cockroach , it was cooked and coated with sauce. The staff were very apologetic, but I am having trouble trying not to puke.
