Been going to this establishment since 2010 and was always my top pub to go to. Our last experience on the date of 2/20/2016 was as follows. We entered unknowingly into the resturant section on our evening off from the kids. The lighting was horrifically bright its like your sitting in a stadium. The drinks which were always nice before were terrible by a pathetic standard. A mojito is not rum and limes and maybe if there was rum in it. My wifes rum runner was really bad watered down grapefruit juice maybe. The food was sortof decent but not as it was. The atmosphere was a stadium faimily resturant with liquor service? So we quickly went to the bar area. And that went as follows. No bs a guy had a child about the age of 3-6 months sitting on the bar. The new renovations took the bar down to a small room. There was a very pugnet odor of urine like hamster cage or rats. We were offered table service at the bar and assuming the mixed drinks would be no better we ordered 2 beers. 10min later no beers and the urine smell with kids running in playing around the bar was just too much. And we left. You could not make this up it would have been the worst date night me and my wife ever had if it was not soo bad that it was kindof funny. In conclusion if you feel comfortable at a bar that smells of urine, has kids playing around in the bar not the resturant the bar itself. Infants actually sat and being held on the bar where you would place a drink. And probably the worst service ever well here you go. I dont understand why they have a liquor license. I dont take my kids to a bar with me its unacceptable, if they want a family resturant make one if not dont. Or they need to fire the designer of the builings lower level. And should take measures to seperate the family activities they have from the drinking establishment, just to start. O yea they dont serve rolls in the resturant anymore either.

We just returned home from dinner at Knickers Pub and Grill. I never, NEVER provide reviews for restaurants. I typically try to give my feedback directly to the establishment. However, when we asked to speak with a manager, we waited for 10 minutes with no manager stopping by our table, so we asked for our bill and left. Here were my complaints. Hopefully the management addresses these issues. -$12 burger was not cooked to specifications. Asked for Medium and it came out very Well Done. It was very clearly a frozen burger patty and thats likely the reason for the char grill job. I could have gone almost anywhere else in York and paid $3 less for a fresh burger. -$2 up charge for fries, but when our food arrived, there were exactly 20 french fries on the plate. Not 20 long cut, hearty fries, but 20 measly fries that amounted to roughly 1/5 of the plate. Ive never been anywhere that charges $2 to substitute fries. So to pay this much and receive very little fries was a disappointment. Things were chaotic and felt very disorganized. We used to frequent Heritage Hills as we live close by, but likely will not be back. Im just in awe at how poorly things appear to be managed over there.

god awful pub; happy hour consists only of bottom shelf alcohol, pitcher of alcohol was 90% ice, menu was lackluster and the website menu didnt even line up with the actual menu: we told we were getting bbq and they had fiah instead, waitress was terrible didnt know the menu the food the alcohol, anything and was very unattentive and no it was not crowded, the website promised a band, we were given one guy with a guitar who sang about 6 songs in repitition, all covers. Just about anywhere is better than this.

Waited 40 minutes for appetizers. Our meals came out right behind the appetizers. We overheard several others servers telling customers the kitchen was backed up. They did comp us the apps. The food was mediocre at best. Burgers not cooked to order. Ordered Med. came out Well Done. Beware... they charge $1 extra for ice in a mixed drink!! Never heard of that one. 2 man group was playing and it was very loud. Will not rush back.

Ordered at the bar. Took forty minutes for the two sandwiches to be made. Bartender had the audacity to say, " Sorry about the wait, I dont know what to tell you." When I returned to my hotel room they gave me the wrong sandwich although my receipt showed the correct sandwich. Terrible service and will not be returning for overpriced food and drinks.

I had breakfast and dinner here regularly over a three day conference at Heritage Hills. The breakfast buffet has a good selection and the restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive over the course of my stay.

Great beer selection wonderful outdoor seating beautiful renovation recently completed food is better than average but mainly bar Fair where else can you grab a Guinness and hit the driving range

Great food, good service. Really nice environment, especially during the summer time. The patio is cool. Drinks are pricey but its a golf course pub so I expect nothing less.
