Worst experience ever. After leaving Hershey Park... me, my husband & daughter walked in this place because there was a sign saying best food in town & we thought, hey... lets try something local! There were 3 servers across the room looking as if theyve seen ghosts, didnt approach us for an uncomfortably long time, and when he did, didnt say hello. Didnt even offer us a table or menu! Felt so discriminated (because every single one in there was white; & Im Asian, my husband black! I asked if we could get something to go (because we didnt want to keep driving around, my daughter was hungry & it was late) the server said okay..... but still did not give us a menu!!! We walked out & settled for Wendys!!! I wish I could give ZERO STARS!!!

Hershey is certainly no paradise for gastronomy. Parkside is close to everything, but tucked away. Timeless, and welcoming atmosphere with friendly matter-of-fact service. Simple yet comprehensive menu that is mostly pub-fare for a great price. $4.95 for dozen steamers is unheard of. Decent list of draft beers for a place this size and a number of really affordable beer specials. In an era of cookie-cutter franchise and corporate dining establishments, it is great spending time at Parkside. Feel like my blue-collar grandfather would have gone there after a shift decades ago.

This has been the worst experience in my life. I ordered a Cesar salad, which was moldy. The waitress said that that was because of the sage. I asked if u can change that for a burger and if I could subsitute the French fries for a side salad . She said yes. At the end I got charged for the salad I didnt eat, for the side salad, for the burger without French fries. My older son didnt eat his crapy food either. The bill is $52.23 The worst

The food was just average. For the quality of the food, I thought it was expensive. My party ordered a couple of burgers and asked for varying degrees of cook (med rare, med well, etc). They all came out the same - well done. I had the black and blue burger which had blue cheese dressing and cheddar on it - not your usual black and blue. If I went back, it would only be for drinks.

First visit, and last. Ordered southwest chicken wrap. chicken was dry & chewy and pieces were huge. there was zero flavor. my friend ordered the chicken Cesar wrap - SAME thing. i was told by a local to stick w/ the daily specials....nah, ill stick to somewhere else. the waitress wasnt friendly, maybe because i was not a familiar face? and the service was very slow. Not going back.

The Parkside is the quintessential local hangout. It caters to families, bikers, adults, etc. It cuts across class and cliches. Everyone is welcome. Everyone is treated the same. The food is good to great. The service is solid. The beer is cold. The bloody Mary is spicy. This is not a chain. It has eccentricity. A definite plus. I love this place. It has heart.

A hidden gem! Great beer selection and a nice menu of super reasonably priced appetizers, soups, sandwiches, and pasta dishes. Nice recent renovation makes it clean and cozy but it still has a plenty of historical charm. The owners are super friendly proud restaurant folks, real Pros!

Music was a bit loud for the size, but for travelers wanting a good dinner, they were great. wife had a wrap, it was huge, and she said tasted great. I had the angel hair pasta with olive oil and garlic. if you LOVE garlic like I do, this was great, a ton of garlic in every bite.

Prompt and friendly service. Nice selection of specials. Food decent. Bathroom could use a deep cleaning and smelled of cigarette smoke. Difficult seating for parties over 5. Small place. Small outside seating area we would have sat at, but smokers gather there.

You cant go wrong with any of the food or the service at Parkside! We have been going there for years with alour kids and we are treated like family. The staff as well as the patrons are always friendly and welcoming.

Overpriced. "Marland crab soup" is vegetable beef with slight shredded crab. Nickel and dimed for everything including the extra sauce that I asked for due to dried out noodles on the scampi. Overall a let down

Good food and the natural cut fries were great. Honey Sausage appetizer was original and tasty. Reuben sandwich was excellent. Good prices and friendly staff made the place welcoming and homey.

Great food, cool atmosphere. This places is a biker bar, and isnt much to look at from the outside, but dont let that fool you. Word is the Cheesesteaks are to die for! Very friendly, lively staff.
