No matter what else you come away from a dining experience at Dragon Palace with, youll definitely remember the very friendly staff! The woman behind the cash register the first three times I went there actually delivered our food to our house this evening, and she was just as pleasant and smiling and outgoing in both roles. I dont remember her name but shes a doll. Very nice! Oh, and the foods pretty good, too! I love that theres an Asian restaurant in Williamsport that offers more than just the standard fare that appeals to most Americans (most of which isnt authentic Chinese food!). Adding Vietnamese dishes to the menu was a brilliant idea. I was particularly excited when I first heard about this place because I missed the Vietnamese "fresh spring rolls" (called "Summer Rolls" here) that I had fallen in love with while living in Northern Virginia. I walked in one day, hoping to find them listed, and was thrilled to see that they offer them. They serve them with a sort of hoisin sauce, as opposed to the peanut sauce I was accustomed to, but that was just fine. Im starting to think that I like Dragon Palaces version better! The rolls are made to order, with lettuce thats crisp and fresh, fluffy white rice noodles, and the largest shrimp Ive ever seen in a restaurant in this price range. Those shrimp, alone, would earn many repeat visits from Yours Truly. Moneys a bit tight these days, as Im sure youre far too aware, but their prices are very reasonable. You get portions that are generous but not obnoxiously oversized. I once asked the cook if I might pay a little extra to get a couple more shrimp in my entree and he said yes. I think it was only about $3.00 and I got 6 more of those nice, big shrimp! Thumbs up and thank you! Because of financial constraints in my own household, I havent been able to go back and sample new dishes as much as Id like. My next jaunt will consist exclusively of Vietnamese selections (I love pho!), and Im sure Ill enjoy it as much as I have everything else so far. Whether youre dining in, taking out, or having it delivered, you wont be disappointed!

Unlike Jasmine Thai/Pineapple Grill or Joy Thai, this restaurant is really set up for take out, not dine in. We had called ahead and found out we could bring in a bottle of wine and decided to sit down and dine in anyway. We ordered a bowl of Pho (beef), an egg noodle bowl, summer rolls and an order of fried rice (which we ordered because were in search of a really good fried rice). The Pho and fried rice were both good but a bit heavy on the oil. The fried rice was lacking a little in color and pizazz - I like scallions and egg and peas and lots of add-ins. Their fried rice had bean sprouts and odd orange bits that we determined were tofu though Im not sure what made it orange (turmeric?). Tasty, but could have been better. The Pho was bland-looking but pretty flavorful - the anise definitely came through. The plate of additional items to add to the Pho included Thai basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, chile pepper (jalapeno?), and lime. The table was also set with sriracha, hoison sauce and soy sauce. The summer rolls were good but as in other places, its just too much carb for me - its mostly rice noodles (along with shrimp, cucumber and lettuce) in rice wrappers. NOTE: The Vietnamese part of the menu is quite limited - its really mostly still a Chinese menu. And yes, very generous portions and very reasonable prices. Our meal came to $22 and we have plenty leftover for lunch tomorrow.

My husband and I was told I was being induced for our second baby in a few hours after our last baby appointment. We decided to stop here and grab something to eat. It was our first time here and it was delicious! The lady working the counter heard my husband and I talking about what we were facing in the next few hours. We went to pay for our food and it was paid for already. They are very kind and gracious people. We have been back several times since then and we have never been disaapointed

Delicious food and nice people! The food is absolutely amazing compared to other restaurants in the area. The chinese and vietnamese food are both good. Everything looked fresh when it was presented and the people are very friendly. The restaurant is small but that will not matter as soon as you order. Their specialties, in my opinion is the general tso chicken, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, and their vietnamese pho. It is well worth the trip! The prices are very good too!

My favorite Chinese food in Williamsport. This is a family-owned and operated joint. Even their young kids are usually hanging out at the restaurant keeping you entertained. Just be warned that the portions are fairly large. A half-order usually does me just fine.

This place is very accommodating with a very social/gracious owner. Food is great, and owner will take/make custom orders as directed when possible. Boneless ribs are great, Crab Rangoon, General Tzos, everything is above par for a small restaurant.

My wife and I used to eat here before when it was Dragon Palace food sucked then and they had small portions. Since the new owners took over its way better bigger portions and the food is top notch for chinese food and FAST DELIVERY!

This ended up being the healthiest meal I had all week while staying in Williamsport. Teriyaki beef skewers, the chicken and broccoli off the diet menu, sauce in the side. Price was more than fair, the food good.

Just had a very dried out "orange" chicken. Flavorless and disappointing. Delivery was very fast, but Id far prefer fresh, well seasoned portions than quickly delivered left-overs.

They make the best Singapore Chow Mei Fun, and by far the best Chinese steamed dumplings around the area. I think it is the best takeout Chinese in Williamsport.
