Today I went to Panera at 2669 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, PA on my lunch break from work. I ordered the Strawberry Poppyseed & Chicken Salad and explicitly expressed my allergy to nuts when I asked that the salad be made with no nuts. I didn’t think that this was a difficult request considering Panera is a restaurant and lots of people have allergies and ask for things to be left off of their food. However when I got back to work and opened my salad I found pecans. Luckily, I didn’t ingest them and go into anaphylactic shock at work but I did have to ask my boss to extend my break so I could go back to Panera which inconvenienced my co-workers and our own customers. When I came back, I asked for a manager and met Sarah. Sarah was tremendously unconcerned about what had happened when she was the manager on duty. In light of what occurred at the Panera in Natick, MA and the accusations of negligence for serving a child with a peanut allergy- peanut butter.. I would think that the manager would have shown more empathy and been more apologetic. Instead, I was given a $6 voucher for the next time I come back. Come back? Are you serious?! So be warned, it’s clear a lawsuit and bad publicity less than 30 days ago hasn’t done anything to change the culture of the company as they continue to remain negligent to their customers with food allergies.

I always loved Panera, but happen to.. I was not visiting this place more then one year. Yesterday I took my grandson to Panera in Whitehall and said: we going to eat tasty soups. O my God!! what a terrible experience was- my favorite French Onion .. was pure salt and sodium.. I was changed almost 6$ for little more then 1/2 boul of.. dirty liquid with no croutons, no cheese on top any more. I ordered classic grilled cheese sandwich which was.. 2 pieces of sticky bread with .. almost no cheese between for price more than 4$!! ridiculous, dear Panera Bread, sound like you going very down in your business.. What a shame.. Me, and my grandson paid almost 20$ for 2 soups and smoothie, and left Panera hungry.

I used to love this place. Pros-staff was eager to take order. They emphasized a short line wait. Cons- was also eagerness to provide food but it felt more like an eagerness to get me out of there. No Chicken Noodle on Menu. Chicken broth bowl was terrible. Southwest chicken. Just nowhere near as good as the soba noodle bowl was or the quinoa something-or-other. I used to love this location but soup was bad twice, just not sure Ill go back for a while. The soup has soooo much sweetness and big onions, just nothing to really taste. and finally, I really hate being asked to tip at a chain with no waitstaff. Its gone past simply leaving a needy tip jar on the counter to being prompted to tip when initiating a credit card transaction.

I came here with family for lunch so we had a mixed group of adults and smaller kids. It was nice that they had good options here to keep both sets happy with grown up sandwiches and salads for the grownups and traditional ham and cheese and PB&J for the children. But all made with good bread and quality ingredients. I have been to a bunch of Panera locations that are jam packed and overstuffed with patrons but this one was pretty good with it not being overly busy during a regular lunchtime.

Food was excellent, service sucks! I didnt know if the girl was having a bad day or see if just horrible; she didnt even give me my receipt or let me know where to get my food or cappuccino, she just left me there at the register to figure it out on my own. She didnt even talk about their reward card! If I didnt go to Panera before I would say its a horrible place and wouldnt go again.

This store can be very inconsistent on sale sizing. Came in on Tuesday with my wife and her salad was full of lettuce with the correct about of steak. Came in on Sunday, the full sized bowl was filled with a half size Amit of lettuce. Placed an order To go with the app, and as per usual I had to go back in and ask for the missing piece of baguette.

This Panera is the worst in the valley. Its as if they never clean the panini press. I order grilled cheese regularly and this is the only place that there is never any cheese left inside the sandwich, always burnt to the outside. Often times their soup is hot and their pastries are hard.

Horrible! I thought Id give this location one more chance. I was kicking my self as soon as my food arrived. They gave me an almost empty sandwich then charged me for using getting feta vs Gouda which was suppose to come on it but they were out! The manager doesnt care. Quality is awful!

I ordered a sandwich that was steak and cheese panini, they put horseradish on it. They make it again and leave the not only the horseradish, but also the cheese off... aweful service. Save yourself and your wallet the frustration and DONT COME HERE!!!

I was there with both my sons, one who worked for Panera bread a long time ago,and the lady at the register was super helpful and so nice. Our food was so good and after we got a bunch of goodies for later and every thing was super fresh and delicious.

Went for lunch today. My mom ordered a tuna sandwich and there was maybe 1 Tbsp of tuna on it. Looked like it was spread on like mayo. Flavor was good...portion was pathetic.

Paneras is a great place for a quick sandwich. Their food is good and relatively inexpensive
