Unprofessional at best. Walked in, happy to have a place to sit down and have a meal with 4 of my family members during a visit to the city to spend time with a family member in ICU. We were happy to have fresh air and anticipated some decent food. The wait staff was sitting in customer booths gossiping. It was not busy at all, maybe 4pm on a Sunday. I asked if we were to sit ourselves and the young girl replied, "How many?", I said five and she to us to a table and ensured us that she would be right over. We begin looking over menus and she collects our drink order and brings back two coffees, (3minutes later) 2 sodas, (another 3 min) until we get the unsweet tea and had no memory of who ordered which drink. Ok, thats fine, no small talk, no "diner" feel. No exaggeration needed. We ask for a moment to look over the menu. She returns, I make it easy and say, "Two cheesesteaks, Two turkey burgers, and one pulled pork". Simple enough. She leaves, and maybe 10 minutes later I see her approaching the table, with a piece of food in her hand taking large bites and stopping at another table to deliver a check while chewing and approached us, still chewing but hiding the piece of food under an apron. Ok, I understand, no privacy, servers work long hours without real breaks. Fine. Ok. She tells us that they are out of cheesesteak rolls and asks us if they can put it on a Kaiser. Our answer was "sure, no problem, were hungry." I dont know what person you know that orders a cheesesteak in Philly and gets it on a Kaiser bun that is more accepting of that fate. Youre in Philly, you want a REAL cheesesteak. Now this is also Reading Terminal market... There are how many bakeries in there? Go buy the appropriate rolls! You run out of something especially when it is named on the menu, "best cheesesteak in philly" ?? Ok, cool. She leaves, while walking back to the cooks, she finishes her food, and without missing a beat, or washing her hands, cuts the rolls and hands them to the cooks.................REALLY? But still we are cool. No reason to be a germaphob...She delivers the two "cheesesteaks" first. (5 minutes later) She delivers the two turkey burgers. (10 minutes later) she delivers the pulled pork that was slow simmered all day to perfection as the menu boasts and for people that have worked in the food service industry know that means it is a "called" item, something prepared last because it is already cooked and sitting in a tin on a warmer or microwaved...We received it 15 minutes after the initial delivery of the cheesesteaks. We were all eating at intervals. The pulled pork was cold! We sent it back and asked to have it taken off of our bill which she had already placed on the table. Now ten minutes goes by and she presents me with a check that she said she had to calculate herself and wrote the deducted amount on the check in pen because no manager was there to void it from the check. My question was, if you cant void it, how am I supposed to pay with my visa? I dont carry cash? Thankfully one of the servers getting off her shift, sitting in the booth gossiping was able to remove it from the bill. Never offered a beverage refill. It takes a lot to be a server, maybe even training on the basics, like NEVER eating on the floor. We paid and left, to never return again.

On Wednesday 2/22/17 I had fish & egg breakfast which came with grits and toast the portion was satisfying and tasty.. so good I went back Thursday 2/23/17 and ordered the same special which today it didnt come with toast and half the fish was missing!!! It actually looked like they took half my portion of fish and gave it to my friend!! Very disappointed and I would have sent it back but I dont like sending food back to the kitchen or complaining because you never know whos cooking your food and what kind of "SPECIAL " seasoning they will add.. bottom line my platter was not worth 10 bucks today.. not to mention the ketchup on the table didnt have a sealed top who the hell knows what was crawling around in it over night and non of the hot sauce bottles had lid either!!.. very disappointed!!

We ordered french fries and got home fries instead, after the dish arrived the waitress informed us that they dont serve french fries in the morning. Ordered the salmon and spinach omelette, got the spinach and feta. Ordered hot chocolate and milk for the kids, got nothing. The cheese cake was very dull, the bacon was weird (I think it was moist?), the home fries had a weird aftertaste. I have no idea what they have done to the spinach in the omelette, some things men were not meant to know. The one good dish was the french toast with chocolate fudge, that was a success but not enough to overcome the rest. Between the inattentive service and the mediocre food, we would not visit this place again. The market offers several other excellent venues.

This place is nasty.(VERY). There are roaches and rats all over the place. I know someone who worked for them and she told me to come check it out for myself. So i did and OMG the things i saw where so nasty. If people knew the things that they do behind the seems, people would not eat there. She also said that the people who work there dont get breaks. the cooks stay on the line for hours and never get a break or a lunch. when i went to eat there i guess i came when the owner was there. OMG!! He was very disrespectful to the staff. Screaming and yelling. Just very inappropriate for any business. I can tell he does not appreciate his staff at all. Not a place were i want to spend my money

I order the cheese burger. Just meat, cheese and onions since I dont like tomatoes or lettuce. The presentation was so and so. Plate with fries and burger on the side of the dish. They left out the onions. The burger was well done even thou I order it medium. The burger tasted good, but I was not blown away. The fries looked and tasted like freezer fries not fresh cut. The guy who was serving me was respectful, but wasnt always visible . Took order, went away, brought order, went away again. After I finished he came back with the receipt and didnt ask if everything was OK. Going to give them another chance for a second visit.

I walked in at 6:55pm in response to a neon sign that said "open tonight". The waitress didnt ask if I wanted something to drink, then when I ordered the first two items I ordered they were out of. Finally I ordered a sandwich and some soup. The food was OK, but not well presented. The waitress didnt bring silverware, sauces, or napkins. The coffee was cold. The topper was this -- I had barely finished my food when they sent security over to kick me out! I had been in possession of my all my food and utensils for less than 15 minutes, and they are going to kick me out? The nerve. Dont go here.

Terrible food. Utterly flavorless. Hashed brown dry and tasteless. Fried apples with eggs a good idea, but they were just fried applies with NO seasoning at all. Eggs were sloppy (and not a large portion either, which I suppose I should be grateful for). OJ a great deal, big glass for cheap. Coffee fresh and good. But we do go to eat, right, and on that count this place is a joke. Dont listen to the puffery of the owner about best ingredients blah blah. Oh, and the place aint so clean either, but I didnt mind that so much as the bland and boring meal.
