- Jan 31, 2010 I stopped in to get something to eat after the movies. It was 9:10 PM.There were maybe 10 people in there. I sat down down at a table, then I went to the bath room. I ended up tramping in a huge pile of vomit. Yes vomit I reached and grabbed some paper towels, threw them on the floor out side the bath room and tramped on them to get the puke off my shoe. I motioned for some one to come back .The waitress came back and before I told her what happened she goes yes I know about it, I didnt see you come back to the bath room . Ok she already new it was there. Why couldnt she put a sign on the door stating, ( Bath room closed ) Needless to say My husband and I left.I was so upset, mostly because they new it was there and didnt do anything to stop any one from going in there. We went home, Who could eat after that.!

I am rating it 4 stars and not 5 for one reason and one reason only! At about 9:20 on Weekends they will not serve you off the menu and they close at 10! Why dont they just simply change their hours to end at 9:20 and serve the whole damned menu while they are open. There is absolutely no excuse for this and it is a poor representation of a business that do not enjoy what they do! Now, after all of that....their food is excellent..really good..thus why they still deserve 4 stars.

Since 1918, TEXAS LUNCH has been serving up the Texas Hots for a long, long time. Ive had Coney Islands/Texas Hots from all over and I can honestly say that this might best the best chili Ive found. They also cook up a great steak so dont be afraid to order one from a hot dog joint :) ... Step back in time and visit TEXAS LUNCH. The people here are friendly and will make you feel like youre at home.

My boys and I go to Texas lunch a few days a week before school and we always have a positive experience. Jackie is usually our waitress and she never fails to make the service exceptional. I would definitely recommend this local diner to anyone that visits town. Great people and friendly atmosphere!!

A Great place with a lot of childhood memories. Janice has been here for years and I look foward to having her as my waitress as well as the great tasting food. Gravy fires are my all time favorite with extra gravy of course! Cant forget those amazing growlers as well!

Awesome selection great prices and really fast service. The tables are too small for groups over 4, but there is counter seating for up to 10 people.

The food here is amazing! They have a special dish called "The Growler" and it is to die for! They staff are always kind and polite as well.

A pretty nice looking old school lunch spot for dogs burgers n fries but the golden aged patrons were a red flag warning of the bland food.
