The hostess will ignore you if you arrive alone (even if no one else is waiting to be seated) but she will immediately spring to life for parties of four or more. I politely pointed out that I had arrived first and so did the party of four I spoke of. She reluctantly told me to follow her. So follow I did when a bus full of tourists sashayed in. She had me wait in the middle of the aisle while she went to seat the bus patrons first and take their drink orders. Meanwhile Im standing in the middle of the aisle and the party of four are getting annoyed as well. She manages the foursome and walks away forgetting I was even there. I was supremely peeved at this point and demanded a table. She tell me to sit anywhere that was empty. Well between the bus, the foursome and the people already there (adding the tables that had yet to be cleaned) it was full. I will never go back.

Terrible terrible terrible terrible service!!! I wish I could give them zero stars!!! The wait staff is the rudest I have seen in all my years of going to a buffet! Then they speak their native language around you in a manner that would make anyone uncomfortable. Then they put shrimp out which was supposed to be for dinner...they actually came back in retrieved the shrimp that was on a separate plate!! Yes that actually happened!! I dont usually write reviews but I needed to let unsuspecting patrons know to steer clear of this place!! Worst buffet I have ever patronized!!

They really need to close this place down. Star buffet used to be good. My whole family got food poisoning from this stupid place. They use leftover meals from only God knows how many days or weeks. Made my wife, mother, and kids sick for several days. Please, somebody close this place down before someone gets hurt again. Waitress horrible, served water from the tap with no ice....... who does that..... eat some where else..... dont the price fool you because the difference from other great places are minimal. Your call, dont say I didnt warn you!

Went tonight with my man. Service was alright. The food was o.k I would suggest though if your going for there crabs go somewhere else they were over cooked and hardly ever brought anymore out. I guess the waitresses would let the cooks know they needed more, but they dont listen you have to get the head manager to go back to get things done. There were other foods on the buffet that looked dryed out. Not the best experience. Im going to stick with the manor buffet around the corner five more dollars a person but so worth it!

I actually really liked this place. Its a nice, family friendly environment in an easy to find location (right across the highway from a childrens amusement park) with semi antiquated parking depending on when you go. They have a reasonable selection of American Chinese style cuisine as well as child (or non adventurous eaters) selections as well. Staff is friendly and usually on top of things when it comes to clearing plates and refilling drinks. Would recommend.

Was closed down several or more times for food violations x as well 2 children were in hospital from so called chemicals being in there drinks , is back open with lighter crowds and fewer visitors since , every person for themselves, food was okay upon my couple visits there and auce option as well.

We decided to check out this Chinese Buffett based on the google reviews. And it did not disappoint! The food was fresh and tasty, the staff was friendly and the service was great. This was the best Chinese Buffett Ive been to and Ive been to many before. I highly recommend giving it a try!

This place is HORRIBLE, food had no taste or was over powering, the fruit wasnt ripe, which either made it tart or hard. Was not asked until I was done with my meal if I wanted a refill, and the coke tatted flat. I will not eat here ever again. I will not recommend to a friend.

They have good food for a good price. Can take the family out on a nice dinner a little bit crowd that the down side but overall it a pretty good restaurant. Very pleasant and friendly. Always take my family there. I love eating there. Im actually on my way there in a bit!! lol

Place was given a bad rap by lancaster news paper because they did an accusitory story before the restaurant was cleared in an investigation. The place has been reopened and the food has always been good. I have gone there several times. Cleaner than most buffets in the area.

We went to the buffet with the church group as a group leader it was my duty to look for a place who have good food with affordable price. Star Buffet & Grill was the one 24 of us we all was satisfying including my 2 years old. Thanks so much keep up the good food work.

This is one of the best American- Chinese buffets I have ever been to. I have been going here for years and the quality is consistent. They offer a to-order Mongolian grill, sushi, and common American-Chinese food. The price is amazing cheap at like 7 per person.

This place is horrible ..their is bugs around the ice cream the food is absolutely dry and sometimes cold ..I suffer from stomach aches after Im done ..I stay for 10 mins the max can only eat one plate cant really enjoy my stay at this horrible place ..

Excellent food. Very reasonable. Fresh seafood. Lots of options. Best times to go to this buffet, or any other is by noon, or about 3 pm while fresh food is being resupplied. We stop here frequently driving from Glasgow DE to Elzabethtown PA.

Fairly good the buffet. the Chinese food is on par with the rest of the county. theres always plenty to eat and prices are fairly decent. come early and avoid the rush and you are usually packed right around 430 5 oclock.
