THE NEGATIVE – The only negative comment which has nothing to do with the food or cleanliness of the restaurant has to deal with all of the kids running around like animals; it was somewhat of a turnoff. These unsupervised disrespectful children ranging from ages about 4 years old to their young teen years had no common courtesy for anyone or anything beside themselves; hey this is a restaurant, not a playground. This involved all ethnic cultures, true kayos running amuck with no Adult Supervision from their parents or whoever was saddened with that duty for the day AND VERY SAD as the management of Golden Corral did nothing to put a stop to this type of unacceptable behavior from the little hell-raising animals. That’s right; they act like animals in the wild that were not taught to interact with normal humans. Kids running full speed throughout the restaurant, bumping into customers who were trying to weave around one another to get food in this very over-crowded establishment as the place was packed with no spare tables. And these brats did not discriminate on who they bothered as many older and some physically challenged adults were put in risk of injury due to this unacceptable behavior. SHAME ON GOLDEN CORRAL MANAGEMENT to allow and condone this type of behavior… The tables were constantly filled. As soon as someone left the tables they was cleaned and another party was seated. I was not raised like this back in the 50’s and 70’s but today’s children are not taught respect at home, schools or anywhere so I guess that is our future..uncultured animals who will appropriate, raise and guide the same type of brats into generations to come, just the way they were. THE POSITIVES – Other than the non-supervised disrespectful brats running around the food was amazing for the most part. The Prime-Rib was mouth watering and plenty of it. They had Sirloin Steak cooked to order which had a really good taste and the Country Ham was good but I had better there before as the taste was off a little at least for me that day. I did make the mistake of getting their large butterfly shrimp on the same plate as my Prime-Rib because I did not want to carry two plates or make another trip just to get shrimp but I should have because the shrimp got soggy from the Prime-Rib juice and were not as enjoyable as I hoped for. That said the shrimp were big and tasty if you do not mind eating soggy shrimp, but that was on me for mixing fried with juicy steak. I did go up for a second plate and just got a couple of the butterfly shrimp on a separate plate and those were amazing. The corn-on-the-cob had a great taste and very enjoyable to eat. I had a couple of Brussels’-sprouts and they were really good too. Everyone at my table had nothing but good to say about the food. The time we waited in line, until we got seated was well worth the wait for the quality and quantity of food provided by Golden Corral for our consumption. The soda, it was Pepsi and what more could you ask for! The restaurant was clean and spacious and the restrooms were clean. The electric hand dryers worked outstanding and actually dried your hands unlike most used today. Plenty of parking was available. The wait staffs were personable and regularly attended to your needs. I give the food 5-Stars BUT management get 1-Star for the allowing the above rowdiness leading to a less-than enjoyable dinning experience (another point deduction) which equals an overall score of 3-Stars for me.

Came for breakfast, having a horrible experience! No clean tables to sit @, rude employee & no breakfast all day like advertised on television! Came to Lancaster location from Windsor, York County! Shouldve gone to a place in York. We went to find a table, I have difficulty getting into the booths, @ first we had difficulty finding a clean table. Finally found one back in a corner of the restaurant. We found a lot of dirty tables including some where the waitresses was piling the dirty dishes they took off the other tables. Really appetizing to see that while youre trying to eat! Discovered why there were so many dirty tables after locating a table & of course she was our waitress. This person was soooo slow she may as well been sleeping! Didnt think she was ever going to finish wiping down that table! My daughter went to get some oj, as they were getting ready to take the machine away, she was told she couldnt have any because the staff person had already pulled the machine out. It wasnt behind the counter yet, in fact, it was sitting about 5 inches from the original spot. The staff person processed to take machine behind the counter and while my daughter watched, asked other employees if any of them wanted oj, she even made sure she got a glass of oj too. Needless to say my daughter & I was a little upset and after experiencing the difficulty of finding a clean table I told my daughter to tell a manager. I had also explained what had happened to our slow waitress & had asked her to get some oj for my daughter. When our waitress got to the oj machine she was asked by the staff person if she wanted some oj? The waitress asked the staff person, "didnt that girl ask you for oj?" Staff person replied, "I dont care what that white trash wanted!" My poor daughter heard everything. Imagine my anger after hearing about this. All of this was told to the manager who replied he will take care of it. I had asked for the owners name & phone number, after observing the staff person complaining several times to the other employees about us complaining to the manager, but the manager was unwilling to give them to me but he did take my name & phone number for the owner to call me. Hopefully theyll call. I will not be back to this place! Ill just wait and hope they will open one in York County someone soon. Its so sad that this is happening to this place. This is what happened to all the other failed locations. It could be something if they hired the right staff people. Im a form believer in if you dont want to work then go home because there are too many people who would love to work at these jobs!

$15/person.. ok a little much but ok,but then they charge you $2.50 for a drink then after taxes its pushing 20/person starts to get a little pricey. The place is far from relaxing with being to crowded and too noisy. Not that people are being loud on purpose just that theres no baffling to absorb any sound its just reflected throughout the room and people are having conversations the effect is Amplified by having to speak louder so people can understand you and understand you over the Roar. After enjoying my food and I did enjoy it. It was very good the steak perfectly done and seasoned. I wanted to use the facilities before we left. Well I almost lost my dinner in there. I have Never seen a restroom so disgusting in all my life "stuff" smeared on the inside of the stalls the unirals overflowing on to the floor. It was just "Nasty" I left there as quickly as possible. I tried to bring it to the attention of several employees but they seemed to busy trying to do their own job to worry about the restroom. Sadly no manager was to be found to for me to notify them of the conditions the restroom was in. I gave the restaurant 5 stars because of the food then took one away for the pricing and two away for the conditions of the restroom. It does make me wonder just how clean the kitchen is .
